In other news, Lime Crime will be on TV again this weekend (last time was when Cat Deeley of So You Think You Can Dance wore it). You can catch it during the Wall Street Journal Report segment this Sunday, December 13 at the following times:
- Nationally on cable, CNBC @ 7:30pm
- NY area: WNBC-4 @ 11:30am
- Other cities run the show a variety of times throughout the weekend
The Wall Street Journal Report is syndicated to over 200 local stations nationally. If anyone can Tivo it, that would be great as I don’t have a TV. Big thanks to Lauren of Daily Candy for making it happen!!

I just wanted to say, after all the hubbub about your makeup and the quality of it and the rumours I decided to try it for myself. I ordered D’Lilac and received it in the post yesterday. I was originally unsure if this was going to be a smart purchase with everything that was going on, but I was tired of the heresay and wanted to know for myself if your lipstick was as good as the swatches. I can honestly say, 100% that your swatches prove true. D’Lilac is such an intense lilac shade. It was not drying; it didn’t dye my lips any colours. It was very smooth, creamy and easy to apply and take off. It had HUGE colour pay-off and was worth what I paid for it. It wasn’t smeary, it stayed in place, it didn’t feather. The only thing it did was leave a lipstick print on my straw I was drinking out of and I find that cute anyways. I also found that it was a true lilac shade. Not a pink tone of it in sight. Most lilac shades I seem to find have a pink tint. So, now I have my own opinion and instead of investigating these things online feel its best to form your own opinion.
Anyways, good job with this line of lipstick!

Yay! I can’t wait to watch it…hehe I’m pretty sure CNBC is basic cable, since that’s all I got…then maybe someone around me will see and take the hint to buy me limecrime for christmas!
I am probably older than most of your customers but I’ve been reading your blog a long time and watching you grow your make up line so this sale motivated me to get the retrofuturistic lipstick and siren magic dust – i see sparkly red lips in my future!! thanks for the sale and I am very proud of seeing a young girl make her dreams come true! Keep at it!

Just not a big fan of the box. I by far prefer the computer which substitutes TV in all cases but this one. :)

We’re actually launching a LC-dedicated group on Polyvore and once we get at least 35 members, we can do a proper contest! I think we’ll have to skip this month since most people are busy with the holidays anyway. But Jan 10 we’re definitely doing it! The theme is going to be awesome too. :)

agh are you kidding me?! i ordered a lippie a week ago i have the worst sale radar ever. :(
About the new line, could you please please make a bright yellow, white, and silver lippie? Oh and swirl lipsticks(with two colors) and ones with glitter would be super GLEE Sweet! I think that I’ve started noticing how sheer lipgloss and lipsticks are now because of your line, I think Maybelline or some other makeup company is coming out with a line that’s highly pigmented now…

Doe, I purchased all 23 Magic Dusts, and they arrived yesterday. Your makeup is TO DIE FOR. I will clearly never have to invest in eye shadow again. Last night I wore six colors at once, and everyone who saw me couldn’t help but notice. My friends and I are going to have a Lime Crime Makeup testing party and we’ll take some photos; if anything winds up looking half as gorgeous as your creations, I’ll share them with you!!!!

Congratulations on the television exposure Doe!!!
I was looking at January 2010 Elle in a Barnes & Noble today. On page 90 a girl was wearing dual toned lipstick. One of these lipstick was marked “Unicorn Lipstick in Airborne”. I think they meant Airborne Unicorn except they messed up your name badly. So I think you were in Elle.But they butchered your name in the article.
