Girl Props store in Soho, NYC
Girl Props is one of my favorite places to do my accessory shopping! This zebra-striped heaven is an endless supply of all things pink, plastic and fun! The best part is that Girl Props is extremely reasonably priced, resulting in some serious shopping sprees for me.
On our last Day of Magic, one lucky person will be awarded a shopping spree at Girl Props – with me as your personal assistant!!! I will be meeting you up in Manhattan for dessert and then taking you to shop till you drop! (Trip will be videotaped and posted on this blog.)
Because Girl Props store is located in NYC, this contest is limited to those who can physically be here in January 2010 (date is to be negotiated with the winner).

It’s so bad ass and stands out all on it’s own!
My favorite accessories, in general, are my hats. I have a small collection, but my absolute favorite is this mini hat that is a veil with dark thin feathers at the top. It slips into my hair via a clip, and I feel stylish whenever I wear it!
Because I’ll be hauling my bum from the sunny shores of Singapore to spend a couple of months in the US from late Jan, this is perfect!

Not only does it make me feel like I’m in the pages of a supercool comic [I am Fairy Queen Faz and I fight evil and ugly shoes!], it’s also pink!
Now, if only they sold BOOM!, I’d wear them all together for a hip hop party to say Boom! Boom! Pow! ala Black Eyed Peas. Heehee!

My wedding band. Even though I very often forget to wear it. It’s the most basic, simple accessory I have, but it means the most. And it’s great for fending off obnoxious male predators. ;)
It’s a tie. I have been really loving my grey beret from H&M- it’s 97% wool, so it keeps my head warm AND the rest of me feeling cute. However, my favourite accessory of all seasons is long chain from Species by the Thousands which ends in a a sleepy black cat with a skull, bird and cage charms dangling from it. It adds a little flair to any outfit, and it reminds me of the person who made it and gave it to me.
my fav accessory of mine has to be a belt that I call my “WWF” belt because it is wide black with silver and huge clear gems. It’s definitely a statement piece so I like to pair it with a bright mini dress for a night out!
I love my Vivienne Westwood-esque orb necklace. It’s long and big and just perfect. People always ask me about it and it looks great with anything since I don’t have to worry about a shirt being too high or low necked.
Its a tie between my deer necklace that I made myself and a pair of white jackie o sunglasses that I got from girl props, actually!
Its windy at my school and with contacts in, my eyes dey out easily. So not only are they adorable, but they’re functional!
my fav is an acrylic brass knuckle necklace that i got as earrings from there about a year ago.. i loved them, but they were a bit too much.. they were longer than my neck.. so my friend and i took then and made necklaces out of them. they are my fav because they are refurbished, and my friend and i both have them… kinda like friendship necklaces. <3
Aw =/ Best and most special surprises left til last? The last 2 weren’t nearly as special for me cos I don’t live in America. =/

Yeah you promised “This week only, you will be presented an opportunity to win free prizes from different vendors EVERY DAY for an entire week!” but really you gave 4 opportunitys to most of us, not 5. Now those who can’t afford plane tickets get left out again.
NObody expected anything from you to start with so why did you feel the need to get our hopes up!?

i dont think its possible to have a favorite, but if i must, it would have to be my Polaroid necklace from shanalogic. i love it to death! I always have people ask me what it is, and its fun watching then figure it out. I love it! :))
I am an accessery freak but oddly enough I would say any WIG in my WIG collection, yes My Hair i have tones of it in tones of fun clolrs sone for plat and some for everyday and I am able to change which darling princess I will be hehe sometimes in the same day.. My favorite accessory is a black filigree butterfly necklace I bought on Etsy. It’s simple, goes with everything, and is a subtle reference to one of my favorite bands, hehe. I wear it so often though, that the brass chain is beginning to tarnish! I’ve been meaning to find a new black chain for it, and maybe some paint just in case the enamel on the butterfly itself wears off.

It’s practical and unique. I like the futuristic style of the goggles and it keeps the wind out of my eyes during the winter. I also get to scope people out without them noticing. xD
My favorite accessories of the moment are rings in general. I have a bunch of rings ranging from mood rings to sparkly costume rings, which I switch out on a daily basis. My collection could definitely use some additions from GirlProps!
My favorite accessories right now are, and always will be necklaces. I’m really into pearl necklaces and my Eiffel tower pendant. Chic, sophisticated, cute, and the little rhinestone details release my inner girly girl. I’ve always wanted to shop at GirlProps. So much adorable pink and sparkly goodness.
My favorite accessory are these cute cupcake hair ties I got at the dollar store. They have glittery cups and white frosting. I’ve been wearing pigtails for past couple of days just so I can wear them! :]
My current favorite accessory is my new pair of false eyelashes. I instantly feel more glamorous when I put them on, I would wear them 24/7 if I could!
My favorite accessory is my Hello Kitty Pink Head Mod Heart necklace from Tarina Tarantino. I’ve had it for about a year now and I wear it almost every day. It’s pretty versatile and looks good with most outfits. A lot of people know me because of that necklace too. It’s kind of my trademark. :)
My vintage cocktail hats. For summer, I have a crown of synthetic flowers with a black veil, and for winter, white fur with bows on each side and white veil.

hah! i have the same thing! except i have the black sheep, and mine’s a ring. i think that’s my favourite accessory at the moment – my friend gave it to me on my birthday as a friendship ring (she has the white one). i’m dying to get the turntable necklace cause i just started my tenure as an FM radio dj…. RRRGH! it’s perfect!

My favorite accessory in my wolf head pendant. It is the symbol of my favorite video game character (Cloud Strife, who I also cosplay). It’s a very heavy pendant that I always know is there. It helps remind me that I am a unique individual who is talented (I won my first award for the costume) and it’s almost like one of those worry stones that you grab when you’re stressed. I wear it just about everyday.
My favourite accessory of the moment is MAC’s Russian Red lipstick! I bought it last week after i saw Dita Von Teese say that it was her signature red. Knowing that we share a very similar complexion, i figured it would look amazing on me, too. I like to think i was right!

the 7/8″ hi murano Glass Ring, Size 7 is absolutely fab! And I love it for it’s price!!! $0??!! It’s also very me. I like big, dark, bulky jewlery.
My favorite accessory items are necklaces. I have all of mine hung up on the wall by my mirror. I think my favorite is a tie between a turquoise and silver owl that i got at a thrift store and a bear carved from a pinkish stone that i got from a Native American powwow.
My favorite accessory is a dark-blue, lepoard-spotted scarf I got from a Salvation Army. It’s super-cute, goes with almost everything, and was pretty cheap. ^_^
I love my pearl earrings! My mother gave them to me for my birthday last year.
I can’t win unless you fly me out to live with you, hehe! But I do want to answer…my favorite accessories lately are my gold leaf necklace, blueberry muffin top knit hat my friend Anika made me and my green jacket with trees written in cursive and the letters morph into trees.
I doubt I could win because I would have to spend all my savings just getting there and getting a hotel, but I still would love to answer! My favourite accessory is an antler Ivory hair pin that my boyfriend carved for me. Antler ivory looks almost the same as real Ivory but no animals are harmed to get it because they are shed annually, so it is the most amazing and natural and beautiful accessory I have ever had the glory of wearing!!!
Right now it’s probably a tie between my silver spoon ring, which I wear everywhere and goes with everything from sweatpants to dresses, and my key/squiggly thing necklace, with an actual skeleton key from my grandmother’s house and a random charm that looks like a squiggle on the chain XD They’re both fun to wear out, regardless of what I’m doing, and always look great :))

My favorite accessory right now is an adorable crocheted mouse hat. It’s grey, with pink ears and a cute happy face on the front. I go to college in Vermont and the hat keeps me warm and looking cute!
My favorite accessory is my pair of earrings from tokyomade. I wear them practically every time I go out somewhere. They’re these adorable horses with stars and and netting behind them. I even took my driver’s license photo with them on, haha.

I love the ring my Mom gave me for graduating from high school. High school was such a horrible experience and my mom congratulated me for making it through by giving me this ring. Its white-gold with an intertwining band, and an oval sapphire (my favorite!). I wear it everyday, and my hand feels naked without it!

My favorite accessory is actually something I carry in my purse. Its a mirror I got when I went to Japan in October. Its a Yoshikitty one!
Yoshikitty is Hello Kitty dressed up as Yoshiki of the band X JAPAN, who just happens to my by favorite band!
Other than that, its my cellphone lol, its covered in little gems, cute stickers, and I have a bunch of cellphone charms dangling from it! People see it and they always become so fascinated by it! Its fun for everyone!

My all time favorite is an ancient filigree bracelet passed down from my grandmother. It is so delicate I rarely can wear it but it has a llama in the center. I would love to know it’s story
My favorite accessory right now is my Crime Scene: Do not cross scarf that my mom got me for Christmas last year! I always get compliments on it and it is very fun to wear. My favorite compliment so far was at the grocery store, when an old British woman said in a thick accent, “I love your scarf!!! It’s so cute!” and I told her where to buy one :D

There two cameo-like necklaces that i got on etsy. One is black with a black flower, and one is black with a white skull. I’ve always been in love with the cameo style, and having an alt twist (skulls and black!) is absolutely perfect for me. Pretty and Girlie with a touch of edge! I’ve been alternating the two of them, depending on the outfit! =)
My favorite accessories are my retro (70′s? 80′s?) dangly hanging gold-toned fish skeleton earrings. This may sound weird, but as ‘Kat’ having fishies fits :). They are not the flashiest earrings in the world but I love people’s reactions to them. Cheers!
My favorite is my Honey Bunny neckless from Betsey Johnson. Its say honey on my string then it has a pink bunny with jeweled eyes on the other. Its supper cute!!

But I will give an answer anyway. My favourite accessories are wigs. I love that you can wear a wig and feel in disguise or undercover. It’s like being a different person temporarily.
I have a great pair of spiral earrings made out of nice polished bone. It’s beautiful in that tribal, hypnotic kind of way :)
