Our winner is Jessie, comment #172! Congratulations!

Part of my shoe collection
If you want to know who a woman is, take a look at her shoes. Shoes are a wondrous accessory that almost has a mind of its own – not obligated to match the rest of the outfit, it can make a louder statement than even your dress! Women baby their shoes, collect them like precious gems.
My shoes give me right out – all colors of the rainbow, rhinestones, bows and unicorn heels! In fact, I feel such a strong connection with my footwear that I’d built a special display shelf for viewing throughout the day. :) A stranger would be correct to guess that I’m an adventurous dresser, girly, and have a taste for whimsy – all just by looking at my shoes. Playing dress-up is a huge part of my life, as evident from over 30 pairs of all shapes, colors and styles (still not that many compared to some other people!). I’m not a practical dresser and care much more for the look than the comfort, since most of my shoes have a 3+” heel.
Nothing says “Merry Christmas!” like a new pair of shoes. Which is why today you get a chance to win ANY pair of shoes from SoleStruck.com, value up to $200! To enter, tell us:
What do your shoes say about you?

You have 24 hours to submit your answers – comments only please! Offer extends to US participants only, however if you’re willing to pay for international shipping I’m sure it’s fine. Winner will be picked randomly and contacted by email.

My shoes say that I can be a comfortable lazy beach bum, one of the guys or a little black dress wearing sexpot it just depends on my mood & my outfit. I’ve got shoes that scream artist & shoes that scream anime geek (Literally I have a pair of full metal alchemist themed shoes). I also classify my anime geek shoes as my gamer nerd shoes. My shoes tell you who I’m feeling like for the day so you might be able to get a hint on how to handle me sometimes.

The first thing you notice about my shoes is that they’re high heels, exclusively. The second is that they are beaten to pieces. I wear my shoes until they fall apart, and then I glue them back together and add a twist! One pair I had, the vinyl started coming off the heel. I stripped the rest off, and slapped on some rhinestones!

I have a few pairs of practical shoes. You know, the sneaker, the black pump, the brown sandle etc. But then I have shoes like the turquiose velvet and sequin covered wedges with round toes, or perhaps my herringbone tweed stilettos, or even my saddle shoe heels.
I love the 40s/50s look and my shoes reflect that, as does the clothes I wear specifically so I can wear the shoes. They say I am fun, classy, and sweet.

A lot of my shoes are flats because I need to be able to move fast–and that’s just not conducive, for me anyway, in heels. They are all unique and fun though to show my creativity.

I usually only wear my black converse sneakers or my black leather boots. I tend to go for a more casual, edgy look.
Recently, I’ve discovered the joys of vintage heels. I have so many different colored heels now and I love them! My current favorites are cream and black lace up heels. They make me feel sophisticated and pretty. But I don’t neglect the bright orange, turquoise, and pink pairs! I’m starting to experiment with color more and let my wild side come out! ^.^

I would love for my shoes to show my personality, girly, colorful, and weird….but unfortunately my extremely busy school schedule and cold wisconsin winters give me away……..burnt out and in a rut! 5 years old or more worn out chuck taylors, comfy boots, and 1 pair of dress shoes that I love. They are black patent leather wedges, rounded toe with a metal studded bow.

my shoes say i’m a badass rocker nerd. there’s tons of black leather and studs along with a few pops of color. lots of high heels for sitting at a desk and flats for bar hopping and dance parties.

If one would look through my shoe collection, they’d probably tell the person looking that my tastes are eccentric, varied and sometimes a bit shocking.
They’d make no ends or tails of the fact that there are dainty pumps, enormous rocking-horse platforms, bright pink peep-toe ankle booties and victorian mid-calf boots in the same closet!
I’m quite sure they’d give the main impression would be that this shoe collection belonged not to one, but several persons.

My shoes say a lot about me, despite my budget.
My shoes vary in styles, showing my love for difference and variety.
I have a couple who are just my favourite pairs!:
My combat boots, with just the slightest heel, are very versatile. I can wear them with jeans to balance out a fancy shirt and add a touch of toughness, or play them up in a punk-and-ready outfit.
I have a variety of heels, my favourites being a pair of black mary jane-esque shoes with a 2 1/2 heel (the shortest of my heels) and very comfortable. I also love that I found them for $2 at a thrift store. :) I’ve worn them in anything from a 50’s style outfit to an office-friendly ensemble.
Another of my favourite heels are ankle boots, with a surprisingly feminine buckle. They have a 3-inch heel, but being boots, are still rather comfortable.
A couple other pairs are my patent leather oxford-esque heels, being 3 1/2 inches tall and, while not fun to stand on all day, are still some of my favourite to wear. They remind me of the 20’s, which is one of my favourite eras in terms of style.
I like to think that my shoes say that I’m classy but fun, and tough – to boot!

My shoes say that I’m whimsical, and romantic, and both girlishly innocent and bold. They say I’m a colorful individual, and with my obsession for 4/5 in heels, I’m sure they also say I’m not afraid to sacrifice a little comfort for the sake of looking nice!

My shoes are mostly flat and simple, since I go to school and walk around a lot – hence the need for comfort and slight conservativeness. BLEHHH I have a few heels though, one of which is white, high, and with a bow and peep-toe. I think that pair is the most representative of my personality – I’m really a girly-girl at heart who loves all things frilly and romantic.

The majority of my shoe collection consists of black leather boots of various descriptions (Doc Martens, cowboy boots, high-heeled boots, fleecey winter boots, etc). Most of them are flat & practical – good choices for a Canadian winter but also fun & interesting enough to wear for the rest of the year as well. Like me, my shoes are dependable, versatile, timeless, sophisticated, & happymaking!

My shoes say that I can’t afford more shoes. I only have about 10 pairs but I’ve made the best of it with the limited amount I have. I have plain black boots and dressy plaid flats as well as sneakers and some dressier sneakers which I can’t use for athletic pursuits. However I think they give off a classy, sophisticated air as a whole as my colorscheme is mostly grays and blacks with my bright blue sandals thrown in just to surprise you. I do that in real life as well. For instance, yesterday when I joined in singing punk rock songs with my friends who told me they were surprised I knew that song and told me they thought I listened to Beethoven or something. C’est la vie!

What do my shoes say about me? When put on, my shoes are like an added limb; a very colorful ridiculous limb.
People usually take one look and immediately go “I need to talk to her”. Whether it be, “I love your shoes”, “What were you thinking?!”, or “I HAVE to have those.”
The general statement they make that reflects me, hypnotic. Whether it be love, or hate, they become a part of me when they’re on.

Hurrah for a shoe giveaway!!! :D My shoes say this: I’m someone who love a heel–really high heels. Shoes that harken back to the silhouettes of the 1940s and 50s catch my eye (and end up in my closet ;). Although I tend to stay within a certain range of colors: black is my favorite. (As boring as it sounds; I make up for the “basicness” with interesting details and skyscraper heels!) I am considered intensely impractical when it comes to shoe choices, but they go well with my overall vintage-inspired look and make me smile! :)

my shoes say “multiple personality disorder”. okay, not really. but they DO say the following: i love sparkle. i love the empowering, million-dollar-woman persona that super HIGH heels automatically impart. i work outdoors much of the time (work boots in several technical iterations). i love brightly colored boots! (as a bigger girl, i personally wear lots of sleek darker colors but have maniacally colorful accessories). and last but not least… my shoe collection says, “this girl could not for the life of her pick out the shoes for her wedding!” had a 1920s-themed wedding this year and was unable to decide between several pairs of stunning vintage shoes, so i bought them ALL!
shoes reflect our passions and our lives. they’re amazing.

My shoes say quite a lot about me! Coming from a dance background, shoes are almost an essential part of life –
I have plenty of sneaks and chucks, just because I find chucks the most comfortable to B-boy in. I have lots of beater pairs too, but my absolute favorites have to be my bright red Chucks! They add a fun element to anybody’s day especially in the rainy city where I’m from.
But the pair that has the most meaning to me are my pointe shoes… Grishko Ulanava I’s from the ballet side of my life. I’ve been dancing since I was four, so they have a lot of meaning to me! ^^
Other than that, for day-to-day life, I have PLENTY and I mean PLENTY of heels! I love fun, classy, colorful ones that I treasure and take care of like crazzy.

My shoes are a mix of practical flats and strappy heels and a few boots, plus a pair of goth boots and some birkenstocks. So I would say my shoes say that style wise I’m across the board. One day I’m office casual with flats and an old navy polo, and the next I’m off to a death metal concert in goth boots and lots of black, and the next I’m wearing a tye-dye with flared jeans and my birks while hooping, and the next tight jeans with sexy strappy heels going out for sushi. I cannot be easily defined!

First, I work for the government and must always be an example to our clients and my staff! I have shoes that show my dark gothy side…but in a professional way! Sneaky me
Then there is the me on the week-ends where I can really be myself, black riding boots, green and black converse, red and black converse, Chinese slippers, Doc Martens and multicolored ballet slippers, strappy, buckle-y black leather, Victorian boots and all sorts of fun stuff…only black, green and red though!
Then there is the my winter shoes, since it snows where I live!

Heeled boots: We make her look chic and tough all at once. Sex kitten with razor sharp teeth.
Trainers: We translate her love of funky color combinations into a format that makes her smile while she’s beating the sidewalk.

Demure and loud, colorful and beige. I demand that my shoes go with everything! A Dorthy dress with powder blue sneakers, it’s comfortable for night out dancing. Steampunk with 4 inch silver heels, why not? As long as it looks good and I look good in them.

I really do miss the days when my shoes reflected something more colorful and fun about me. They used to be full on badass rocker-slash-colorful and fun, but as I’ve grown up and gotten into working at an office, I pretty much stick to Mary Jane flats. I definitely have gotten in to a shoe rut along with going through that transition from college student to corporate world and trying to reconcile that fun spirit that’s still in me with a need for professionalism. And, I hate ruts! I think it’s high time I started working on breaking out of this one.

I’m tall (size eight pretty reliably indicates height, haha) and refuse to pander with kitten heels or one-inchers. I’ve also got a bad habit of wearing to death the things that I love, but that’s alright, since most of my flats are sort of cute, classy retro throwbacks.

i go for clean design and function, but not without a bit of whimsy. I guess that means i have a taste for things that are a lot more wearable than they appear. For instance, my lovely rocking horse mary-janes! 4 inches of solid wooden height without any discomfort, much less the normal discomfort of the stompy platform walk. People always stop me when i wear them, “wow i love those!” to “how the hell do you do that?!?”

My shoe collection (click for pic) would tell someone that I walk everywhere, like to wear comfortable modern-day moccasins, and have a zippie style, and appreciate bright colors. Most of the shoes I own I get as a challenge to work my style into an unexpected piece. For example, everyone says crocs are the ugliest shoes ever but I like them because of their bright color, the futuristic hippie shape and the fact that they look like the shoes from the video game Kingdom Hearts! Recently, I bought a pair of skater girl shoes that I would have made fun of years ago, but I thought the emblem of three roses was cute and fairytale.

My shoes basically say that I prefer comfort (80% of my shoes are flat), I have a military/androgynous style and I hate the color brown. Also, my “signature color” so to speak is bright red; I’m known among my friends for having a new scarlet red coat every fall and accessorizing in red so my shoe collection totally reflects that.

Considering that I wear heels or platforms everywhere, even to my Chemistry labs, I think most people think it’s impractical(but I’m a shorty so I need them!). I also shocked a whole crowd of people at my highschool graduation when I whore 3+ inch white heels and ran up a dirt hill to fetch an award without tripping. They suggested that we wear flats or tennis shoes, but really, who’s going to wear flats or tennis shoes when it was the one day everyone treated me like a princess?! I LOVE my heels so much that I risked getting a sprained ankle to wear them. Just like you, I think my shoes show that I am daring and outside the standards of what is “normal.”

What do my shoes say about me?
I’m usually a boot lady through and through because my feet can’t usually get the support they need in a heel. My boots are black with spikes and studs, red and lacy, purple and felt, green and pink, high and mighty 8 inch heels.
Then the actual high heels, pink and fluffy, silver, gold, red, all the colours you can imagine and most of which I can’t wear anymore because I got foot surgery.
My shoes show that no matter what I will brave it and I will continue to wear amazing shoes as long as I can find ones that don’t put me in agony.

To be honest, my shoes probably says that I’ll be likely to take the easy and comfortable way out. I have about two pairs of shoes for each half of the year – winter and summer. I live really far up north, so I NEED to have warm and waterproof shoes – or else I’ll get cranky (seriously, yesterday it was -20°C). But I think I’m finally building up my courage to dare act out my inner fashion dreams – this summer I bought two pairs of shoes, just because I thought they were pretty and I wanted them! It probably sounds a bit silly, but I’ve only gotten my neighbours old shoes before, or gotten new ones when I had to throw my old ones away, so to me it is a pretty big thing!

As of this moment, I only have two pairs of shoes. Sad but true. However, when I think about it they do sum up some of the important details of my personality.
My everyday shoes are black sneakers. They’re practical. They get me where I need to be, and they work with a lot of the clothing I wear.
I like things that work when they have to work, without uneeded complications. I value the simple, yet effective.
My second pair are ankle boots, platform and heel, and once again black.
These are also simple, but add a bit more interest. They’re casual, but also work in dressier situations. And they’re also tough, even though I think they sold in a shiny pink box next to the children’s section. They’re stronger than I had thought, and can work their magic in a variety of situations.
These things seem to tell me that I try not to overcomplicate things when simplicity is the best choice. That even though I’ll spend most of my time going with casual, and reserved, I sometimes like a litle bit of flashy. And that I don’t like to be interrupted when there’s something important to do.
And dang, that was a little more than I set out to write about me and my four shoes.

Most of my shoes reflect my love for the Victorian era. I have a vintage pair of Victorian style boots that I have worn into oblivion, and I love them so much that I plan on taking them to a cobbler to make a replica pair (or two!).

i think my shoe collection would infer that i am a ruby slipper-o-holic. i have had about 8 pairs over the years.
and that perhaps my sense of aesthetics and whimsy [5 inch high metal column heels anyone?] outweighs the practical.
my collection was at about 80 pairs of heels [i pretty much wear flats exclusively] but i donated a heap to goodwill and some random prostitutes i saw.

That I’m most decidedly a girl, and decisive in general, that I have a bad back (mostly flats to accommodate my orthodic insoles) but also that I walk everywhere. That I love to feel classic- black boots, pumps, oxfords, and no sneakers (excepting the chucks with rainbow laces that linger in the back of the closet in case of emergency)- but still have a sense of humour (the peep toe wedges with big satin bows on the back.)

My shoes tell you that there is no way to define me. From sky-high heels, to real cowboy boots (that I do ride horses in), my shoe collection is as eclectic as my personality. You will find batman sneakers and suede booties, over the knee leather flats and men’s flip flops. My mood changes daily, so I need my shoes to keep up!

i love shoes. i go for more blacks, reds and purples then anything. i have a thing for boots, doc martins, demonia… i love the outlandish and dark. i actually came across a pair of alexander mcqueen shoes in one of lady gaga’s videos that are like wearing posh skeletons on your feet. they are so gorgeous and one of a kind.
my shoes say that i’m adventurous and like to stand out. people say i look like a cartoon sometimes when i wear my favorite pair of boots. i actually named them das boot lol. they are black, have 4 inch platform soles and have fur around the top. i will wear out das boots til a hole rips through the 4 inch soles ^_^

My shoes reveal much of me. These days, most of my shoes are flats, sneakers, covered in coffee from my day job as a barista. But back at home, in the closet hides my collection of dazzling pumps and heels in glorious colors and patterns. And sometimes in my coffee-covered, dirty red Chucks, I go out and I purchase another beautiful pair of off-the wall, fun heels. I save them for a rainy day. For dancing with my boyfriend in the living room. For dressing up, for all my dreams of being a supermodel :)
I love my shoes, all of them.

My shoes can be very plain, or very very out there. I guess it results from not wanting to be tied to one particular style. I think that it lets people know that I could be anyone, on any given day, purely depending on how I’m feeling when I wake up that morning. But in the end, it’s always a facet of who I really am, and not me pretending to be someone else!

Mine are essentially the same but pink!=) I wear my winter boots as well but aside from that I have what my friends have dubbed’ zombie hunter boots’. They are plain, come to my ankle, are shaped like tennis shows but they are suede. They are covered in buckles!

I love that my shoes can say something about me even when my outfit is toned down. I have everything from ruby slippers (with sequins!) to gladiator heels, and they can make a navy 40’s dress or a little black dress look like a totally different outfit. They say I’m a girl with a thousand different people inside me.
Scattered across my closet are tennis shoes in plain black and whites with a sprinkling of simple flats and a pair of black low heels.
Upon close inspection though other things begin to appear and suddenly there are bright bronze heels right out of a Steampunk story, sexy babydoll platforms that add at least four inches, a pair of bad ass industrial stompy boots that should be on a sexy punk girl. Out pops the killer vinyl stilettos that look like you could run a quill across it and pick up ink and bright blue chunky heels, making my feet look tiny and adding no less than five inches with their big platform soles.
It’s deffinitly a hostess’ mix of my shoes and just like me it’s a whole lot of wacky, crazy, sexy hiding behind the regular old dullness of the everyday.

People often point and say “look at her shoes”, or they come up and compliment me on them, or ask me where I bought them, because they aren’t like what is on most feet! I’m very picky about what styles I wear, and so when I find something that is just right I get all excited. I love shoes with a princessy feeling.

Also I wear more flats than heels as evidenced by the massive holes that have formed in my flats. I guess my shoes also reveal that while I’m mostly practical and realistic (chucks, flip-flops, and ballet flats) I have a flair for the retro and the sky high styles of pumps. My shoes say that I am am an enigma. I run the gambit from my tom boy side with my big boots and converse, to my practicality with my flats and plain black pumps, to my carefree love of comfort with my 10+ pairs of flip flops, to my girly party side with my love of stilettos in every color of the rainbow!

non-nonsense (or strives for it) — too many pairs of black shoes
fiercely confident - for the several pairs of heels 3.5-4 inches
comfortable/laid back - chuck taylors and a well loved pair of flat slouchy boots
kickass and reliable - an 11 yr old pair of dr martens
passionate – a few pairs of cherry red patent leather shoes
loves to be a girl - the cute flirty heels

My shoes show that when it comes to footwear, I’m more about comfort than style. I’m a total sneaker/flat lover! Also, my most-worn pair of shoes are Nikes I’ve had since the seventh grade o: Not sure what that says about me though… er, that I’m loyal to my shoes?

I got weak ankles so heels aren’t good for me so I usually wear my black hayes vans: http://images.ifguk.co.uk/products/1349/1349-large1.jpg or black patent flats in warmer weather. And fuzzy tan boots in the winter.

Well, I don’t have alot of money to spend on shoes, but the ones I have are either bright coloured or unique. And, I love bows on my shoes~ I wear black most of the time, but my shoes are not conpletely black. My boots are kinda steam punky, from jump so they’re really different. They add kind of a hard edge to my girly clothes. So I’m not completely girly. ;p I have 2 pairs of heels I wear the most, one pair is all bright purple and the other pair I recently painted and glued a bow onto to make them more “me”. ^^I’m a bright, happy person so I like bright shoes~
Here’s the ones I changed

My shoes say that I’m loyal, because I tend to keep them around for a long time. I have a pair of sneakers that are about five years old, and are literally falling apart. My friends say that whenever they walk behind me, they imagine my sneakers are yelling at them, because the bottom is constantly flapping.

Fun, laid back, loyal, kind of unique. My shoes come in a rainbow of colors. I have a nice amount of flats, I’m working on building my heels collection. My flats and sneakers, consisted almost exclusively of converse, and Rocket dogs, with a couple pairs of vans. My heels are a bit more varied in brand even for the lesser amount I own.
A couple Faves from my collection:
-Pink patent leather alligator skin print pennyloafer-type style from Talbots
-White, brown, light blue, gold.. nearly knee high lace up boots from Baby Phat
-gray suede-like ankle booty heels with a bow on the side from Charlotte Russe
-yellow slightly abstract strap high heel also from Charlotte Russe.

i guess my shoe collection would say that i can’t really be defined, and neither can my style. my shoes range from delicate girly pink lace ballet flats to doc martens to enormously high red suede wedges. they’d show my magpie-like tendencies – i own so many pairs of shoes that doesn’t fit or are terribly uncomfortable that i bought just because they’re pretty! and several members of my collection would definitely show that i’m drawn to the bizarre – i can never resist a weird pair of shoesies.

My shoes can tell you about a major component of my life- the beach. I live on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and everything here revolves around the beaches. I was recently given an amazing pair of heels that I’m determined to keep sand-free, unlike every other pair of footwear I own. Sneakers, sandals, flip flops… they tell stories of various adventures I’ve had, all involving the water. They reveal that I’m laid back and would rather have a bonfire with some friends than go shopping in the city. I admire people that can dress like you. I’ve tried it, but somehow I always come back to my roots and a worn down pair of sandy sneakers.

However that is not their real voice, I’m sure they have something more to say. Limiting their amount is like a stealing their freedom of speech.
Despite of the fact my shoes don’t use their whole potential beacuse of their small quantity, they are quite individual and every pair of shoes says something somewhat different. First off, I’d like to say I’m one of those people that would win a million dollars and half of it would end up being spent on shoes. I’m VERY young (see I’m only 14) and I’m chubby. So finding clothes to express myself is quite the task. But I do have small feet. And finding shoes in the 6.5 to 7.5 range isn’t that hard. Shoes literally set your soul free,(cheesy, right?), but I don’t have a lot of shoes,(only 6 0r 7), and I have a single pair of heels, that are very sexy. So onto what me shoes say about me. From the pairs of shoes I have they say “Hey, I’m a bit sexually ambiguous, I can get down and dirty and have a stompin’ good time, I can be a lady and I can get wild and feisty and strut my stuff”

My shoes would say that I’m fun to be around, that I like to have a good time and I’m not afraid of being myself no matter what.

I don’t have a huge shoe collection, well for now at least! My shoes say that i’m adventurous(sp?) but i still like comfort. I like shoes to be cute, sexy but also something i can wear almost everyday!

My shoes show both my practical and dreamy sides. A ridiculously amount of my shoes are thrifted for under $10, while I do occasionally *ahem* splash out for a pair of the truly magical (like those blue glittery sneakers I was wearing when we met!). I have a penchant for the vintage look (Italian-leather oxfords with lacey cutouts, embroidered velvet boots with an edwardian heel) and the totally crazy (fluffy gray wedges with rabbit eyes and nose and whiskers).

my shoes say that I don’t have enough!
my favorite though are converse, even though they are common and sort of cliche it doesn’t mean that people will get hte kind I have!
I have a pastel rainbow one (that Doe, you would adore), yellow, orange, black with special addition chuck taylor <3, and I'm hoping to purchase a pair with "The Sabine Women" decal on the side. :D pure love!
++running shoes, old-school platform sandals (I'm bringing them back!), and a kickin' gangster pair of Nikes. :)
Even if I wore an evening dress or a short spring dress, my kicks add an element of playfulness and youth. (14 and feeling old already.) The thing is, people ususally wear their kicks with jeans, but I wear my kicks with anything but jeans!

My shoes say that, despite being 5 foot 1, I have big, ugly feet and can never find/afford pretty shoes that do not slice my toes and/or heels.

My shoes say “they discontinued your favorite work shoe three years ago and you’re still tromping around in a broke-ass pair without any traction, huh?”

My shoes are sassy, fun, colorful, tuff, feminine, classy, cute, a lil bit country, a little bit retro, but always, they scream at the top of their stilettos, suede, pastel, neon, and platformed hearts: “I AM FLIP!”
My shoes say everything about me. Show a different personality. Be they designer, or cheap treasures from a thrift store! They always tell a person, this is who I am, and I’m here to stay!

Mine say I’m laid back but colorful and creative. tennis shoes with bright decorations and shoe laces I get from the kids section (not the boring ones from the ‘adult’ section.) I take something average and make it me!

My shoes say that I am fun and wild. When I kick off my sneakers and throw on a pair of show stopping heels they say that I am about to take the night by storm. Im a tomboy by day and a girly girl by night!

That i’m thoughtful maybe? I have a thing for matching my bright pink shoes with my bright pink lipstick! Little details like this with outfits make me really happy, I like the idea of being able to spot new things about someone’s outfit every time I look at them.
So, my shoes say that it’s the quirky little things in life that really count for me!

My shoes are cowboy boots. These boots say RESPONSIBILITY, walking my dogs at 430 am before going to work. My boots say FUN: long nights under dance-floor lights and puddles of beer at the kareoke bar. My boots say ADVENTURE: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, TX; people, places and things to discover. My boots say DESTINY; they are vintage, 20 plus years old, found in a thrift store, by my beloved, who owns the same pair! My boots say ME!

I have one pair of shiny, lolita-meets-nazi-zombie combat boots, and one pair of bottle green defaced, sharpied up hightops. My feet are kind of narrow, so I can’t wear flats and I have a few years until heels are age appropriate.
I think my measly, mud caked shoe collection says that I’m practical, somewhat girly (HOT PINK RIBBON LACES!!!!), creative, and kind of a minimalist. Both pairs of shoes are durable, can be matched with a jumper dress or a Spartan millitary uniform, and get me where I need to go.
Wasn’t it Forrest Gump who said that you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes? Where they go? Where they’ve been? Wow, I just compared Doe Deere to Forrest Gump.

My shoes scream that I love comfort. Mostly because I own all flats. They’re very comfortable and I think they can be dressy or casual :]

That I don’t care if you think my shoes don’t match my outfit, and that if you don’t like it, you can take a flying leap. My shoes consist of moccasins, tennis shoes and flats. I like it like that and what they say is that I’m not going to take crap from anyone about how worn out or out of season they are. I think it adds a little something.
