Part of my shoe collection
If you want to know who a woman is, take a look at her shoes. Shoes are a wondrous accessory that almost has a mind of its own – not obligated to match the rest of the outfit, it can make a louder statement than even your dress! Women baby their shoes, collect them like precious gems.
My shoes give me right out – all colors of the rainbow, rhinestones, bows and unicorn heels! In fact, I feel such a strong connection with my footwear that I’d built a special display shelf for viewing throughout the day. :) A stranger would be correct to guess that I’m an adventurous dresser, girly, and have a taste for whimsy – all just by looking at my shoes. Playing dress-up is a huge part of my life, as evident from over 30 pairs of all shapes, colors and styles (still not that many compared to some other people!). I’m not a practical dresser and care much more for the look than the comfort, since most of my shoes have a 3+” heel.
Nothing says “Merry Christmas!” like a new pair of shoes. Which is why today you get a chance to win ANY pair of shoes from SoleStruck.com, value up to $200! To enter, tell us:

My shoes show that i’m i’m bit wacky and not afraid of adding a bit of color to my world. Whether they’re my neon knee-high chucks or my puple marc jacob heels :D
My shoes identify me as quirky and relaxed, and point people out to my wide range of interests, between the Converse, Victorian-looking boots, and cherry-red Doc Martens. :)
Sadly my shoes say I’m about 6 feet tall when I’m only 5’2″, they’re HUGE! XD
Hurrah for a shoe giveaway!!! :D My shoes say this: I’m someone who love a heel–really high heels. Shoes that harken back to the silhouettes of the 1940s and 50s catch my eye (and end up in my closet ;). Although I tend to stay within a certain range of colors: black is my favorite. (As boring as it sounds; I make up for the “basicness” with interesting details and skyscraper heels!) I am considered intensely impractical when it comes to shoe choices, but they go well with my overall vintage-inspired look and make me smile! :)
my shoes say… that i don’t like shoes. I have exactly five pairs of shoes: purple converse, black converse, black boots, and red and black flip flops. I guess i’m just a simpler person when it comes to footwear, but i do love my crazy outfits!
my shoes would say that I’m short and use them to compensate, love patent leather and buckles!
My shoes say that I like to be trendy yet comfortable. I’m fairly tall so I mostly own flats, but I love them to be cute and have a unique quality to them. They would say that I tend to be kind of eccentric, but in a safe way.
my shoes say “multiple personality disorder”. okay, not really. but they DO say the following: i love sparkle. i love the empowering, million-dollar-woman persona that super HIGH heels automatically impart. i work outdoors much of the time (work boots in several technical iterations). i love brightly colored boots! (as a bigger girl, i personally wear lots of sleek darker colors but have maniacally colorful accessories). and last but not least… my shoe collection says, “this girl could not for the life of her pick out the shoes for her wedding!” had a 1920s-themed wedding this year and was unable to decide between several pairs of stunning vintage shoes, so i bought them ALL!
shoes reflect our passions and our lives. they’re amazing.
What do my shoes say about me?
I think they would say I’m easy going and comfortable, and maybe a little crazy lol
My shoes say quite a lot about me! Coming from a dance background, shoes are almost an essential part of life –
I have plenty of sneaks and chucks, just because I find chucks the most comfortable to B-boy in. I have lots of beater pairs too, but my absolute favorites have to be my bright red Chucks! They add a fun element to anybody’s day especially in the rainy city where I’m from.
But the pair that has the most meaning to me are my pointe shoes… Grishko Ulanava I’s from the ballet side of my life. I’ve been dancing since I was four, so they have a lot of meaning to me! ^^
Other than that, for day-to-day life, I have PLENTY and I mean PLENTY of heels! I love fun, classy, colorful ones that I treasure and take care of like crazzy.
My shoes are a mix of practical flats and strappy heels and a few boots, plus a pair of goth boots and some birkenstocks. So I would say my shoes say that style wise I’m across the board. One day I’m office casual with flats and an old navy polo, and the next I’m off to a death metal concert in goth boots and lots of black, and the next I’m wearing a tye-dye with flared jeans and my birks while hooping, and the next tight jeans with sexy strappy heels going out for sushi. I cannot be easily defined!
My shoes say everything about me!
First, I work for the government and must always be an example to our clients and my staff! I have shoes that show my dark gothy side…but in a professional way! Sneaky me
Then there is the me on the week-ends where I can really be myself, black riding boots, green and black converse, red and black converse, Chinese slippers, Doc Martens and multicolored ballet slippers, strappy, buckle-y black leather, Victorian boots and all sorts of fun stuff…only black, green and red though!
Then there is the my winter shoes, since it snows where I live!
I think my shoes say I’m ready to kick butt, considering I own more than a few pairs of boots! My favourite are my black patent leather, pointed-toe Doc Martens.
My shoes say that I am confident, adventurous and don’t care what anyone thinks of me. I have a mind of my own and don’t need anyone else to tell me that I am special.
My shoes say that I am a confident and courageous woman. I have glittery heels from Vivienne Westwood to comfortable moccasins from Minnetonka. I love variety and being able to have shoes that match my colorfully unique personality!
Colorful and fun but comfortable.
Bold and comfortable :)
I think my shoes say that I’m an interesting blend of practical & impractical. I own one pair of flat shoes, they’re my engineer boots, and maybe four out of my collection are black – the rest are all colorful; but all of my shoes are pretty comfy, even the heels. I think they’d also say that I prefer unique, well made shoes from indie businesses than cheap trendy crap!
My shoes say I like like to be comfortable but daring and stylish, as evident from my brightly colored chucks and patent leather docs!
my shoes shout from the rooftops: This girl is sass all the way!!
My shoes say that I love heels, even though I don’t need the height. :) They also say I’m practical, with several pairs of flats and tennis shoes.
My shoes say that I’m a lot more badass than I really am – I can’t get enough tough black boots.
What do my shoes say about me? Well, that I have a huge love for vintage (I have a whole lot of 1930 – 1950′s shoes), my modern shoes say that I also love either classic looks or shoes with a little attitude – just like me.
I have a variety of shoes..but I’d say my priority is comfort. I used to be obsessed with loose skate sneakers..and then graduated to converse. But now I’d say my favorite shoes currently are my moccasins.
But of course..being a lover of all things pretty..I buy loads of pretty heels and flats..but still haven’t disciplined myself enough to walk in them..haha.
My shoes says that i do not only have a really nice pair of legs, they really can kick ass aswell!
I mostly wear kneehigh combatboots and a cute skirt.
*wry* i don’t even wear shoes half the time. when i do, they mainly suggest that i am obscenely blinding with colours and also really really prone to falling…
(I’m from Norway, but I’d gladly pay shipping, so I’ll reply anyway. If it doesn’t work out, and I happen to win – please re-draw it! :))
My shoes are combat boots, they’re rough but still womanly – just like me! They’re comfy and low-heeled, which combines beauty and sensibility, which I like to think I can do myself occasionally.
My shoes probably say I’m versatile more than anything. From sneakers, cutesy flats, tough boots and tall heels, I’ll wear ‘em all :)
My shoes are dark, cute, and edgy! (at least I hope so).
My favorite pair of shoes is a black pair of “Gothic Lolita”-inspired heels I got for only $7 at a reseller.
I think my shoes say that I’m unique, punky, and sometimes edgy, but at the same time girly.
If my shoes could talk:
Heels: I know we make her look smashing, but she really needs to learn that we are not all terrain foot gear!
Motorcycle boots: At least she doesn’t use YOU as winter boots! But we do look awesome on her in this weather and when she’s breaking the speed limit!
Heeled boots: We make her look chic and tough all at once. Sex kitten with razor sharp teeth.
Trainers: We translate her love of funky color combinations into a format that makes her smile while she’s beating the sidewalk.
(I’m with you, Doe, I looove shoes!!!)

Demure and loud, colorful and beige. I demand that my shoes go with everything! A Dorthy dress with powder blue sneakers, it’s comfortable for night out dancing. Steampunk with 4 inch silver heels, why not? As long as it looks good and I look good in them.
My shoes shay they love me and they enjoy serving me feet every time I put them on.
My shoes – a pair of combat boots, two pairs of heeled biker-style boots, black sneakers, black flats and black heels (that’s all I have) say I am a METALHEAD, and I need practical, comfortable, sturdy shoes for adventuring across the world and getting tossed about in mosh pits. They say I’m tough, and I like to surprise people.
I really do miss the days when my shoes reflected something more colorful and fun about me. They used to be full on badass rocker-slash-colorful and fun, but as I’ve grown up and gotten into working at an office, I pretty much stick to Mary Jane flats. I definitely have gotten in to a shoe rut along with going through that transition from college student to corporate world and trying to reconcile that fun spirit that’s still in me with a need for professionalism. And, I hate ruts! I think it’s high time I started working on breaking out of this one.
Bipolar, edgy, shoe-addicted, short girl–all sorts of different kinds of sky-high stilettos to suit my mood! As many as I can afford :)
My footwear collection is very limited and rather eclectic. 2 heels (silver gladiators and blue classic pumps), skate shoes, cleats, hiking boots and multiple flats.
I never wear my flats, so they don’t count :P
I feel my shoes reflect my multiple different hobbies like rugby, window shopping and looking good.
My shoes say…modern vintage princess stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time!
My shoes say: I am a stylish and funky dresser who also thinks comfort is important. But most importantly, they also portray me as an animal lover since I only wear synthetic shoes. No animal will die for my shoes!
my shoes say that I am strong and independent, I can walk anywhere I need to go. :) Also that I am a girly girl.
I’m tall (size eight pretty reliably indicates height, haha) and refuse to pander with kitten heels or one-inchers. I’ve also got a bad habit of wearing to death the things that I love, but that’s alright, since most of my flats are sort of cute, classy retro throwbacks.
What my shoes say about me? Hmm, a stripper or a complete badass as most of my shoesare 5+ inches high and mostly just black but i do have a pair of neon red doc martens
i think my shoes just say that my life is a big mish mash of everything, i have 5″ pink rubber stylletos, black man shoes, and velvet frog slippers.
My shoe collection is humble. Colored ballet slippers to one side, black boots on the other. Perhaps it is a metaphor for my alter egos. On one side i’m put together and lady-like but then i’m also a bad-ass with a penchant for buckles, studs and faux leather.

nurrr i may be in australia but if i get a pair of shoes for the price of shipping… seriously? haha!
mostly my shoes say GET MORE SHOES, KITTY! becaise i only have 10 pairs or so. that’s so not enough, hahaha.
but other than that, they say i’m a bit edgy when it comes to what i wear [i'm the kind to wear the stilettos on a rainy day] and a little cutesy [glittery red 4 inch Dorothy-esque heels wheee!], but i don’t always think things through before buying them [bought a pair of pink and black heels without trying them on, stupidly, and ended up hating how the heel looks on me. considering ripping the heel off and turning them into flats though, they're pretty low]!
and OMG WHAT ARE THOSE PINK AND WHITE STRIPED ONES IN YOUR COLLECTION, I MUST GET A PAIR. or are they your candyfuture unicorn shoes with fabric in them?

That’s immediately what I thought! So gorgeous. *drool* Mmm. I’m going to find some of my mom’s old shoes and attempt to do that!
i go for clean design and function, but not without a bit of whimsy. I guess that means i have a taste for things that are a lot more wearable than they appear. For instance, my lovely rocking horse mary-janes! 4 inches of solid wooden height without any discomfort, much less the normal discomfort of the stompy platform walk. People always stop me when i wear them, “wow i love those!” to “how the hell do you do that?!?”
My shoe collection says that I am versatile and ready for anything. It contains everything from a hiking boots and worn out sneakers to 5″ peep toes and stiletto boots.
My shoes say “damn this girl wants to break out of her shell but hasn’t managed to do it yet.” I have a fabulous collection of wild sexy shoes with hardly any wear buried behind my mountain of practical flats, sandals and sneakers that have been used and abused. *sigh*
My shoe collection (click for pic) would tell someone that I walk everywhere, like to wear comfortable modern-day moccasins, and have a zippie style, and appreciate bright colors. Most of the shoes I own I get as a challenge to work my style into an unexpected piece. For example, everyone says crocs are the ugliest shoes ever but I like them because of their bright color, the futuristic hippie shape and the fact that they look like the shoes from the video game Kingdom Hearts! Recently, I bought a pair of skater girl shoes that I would have made fun of years ago, but I thought the emblem of three roses was cute and fairytale.
my shoes show all sides of me… from student to EMT to environmentalist to diva hehe… high heels and flats, and as fabulous as i can get based on the situation….
Independent, tough girl who can walk in the sexiest heels with class and turn around and put on some boots and hike for hours!
