INGREDIENTS

  • Skin stuff (concealer, foundation, powder, blush)
  • Bright blue, black and white pressed eye shadows
  • Black liquid eyeliner
  • Black eyeliner pencil
  • Skin highlighter
  • Black mascara
  • Clear lip gloss
  • 4 rhinestones

Moisturize a clean face with your favorite lotion. Apply foundation with a wedge sponge all over – including your eyelids. Concealer under eyes. When done, apply a light layer of translucent powder. Apply orange-colored blush or bronzer on the apples of your cheeks and a tiny bit on your chin. Apply a generous amount of powder under eyes with a powder brush – to catch any falling eyeshadow. It can be swept away later.

Like I always say, I start out with mascara because I’m terribly messy. If you aren’t then do this step last, to avoid the blue eyeshadow falling onto your lashes. :) Apply black mascara on top and bottom lashes. Black liquid eyeliner is applied on the waterline (be sure to put it on as close to the lashline as possible, to avoid getting it into your eyes). I did inner corners and top lid with a black pencil for a softer effect.

With a medium-large brush, apply bright blue (I used blue glitter pressed shadow) over the top lid and slightly over the crease. Now get a slightly smaller brush and apply black eyeshadow concentrating on outer corners and a bit on inner corners. Blend well. I have this really cool $3 white eyeshadow (Milani ‘Moonlight’) which has blue overtones. It was just perfect for this look! I applied it on inner corners over the blue and brow bone blending into the blue at the crease. Sometimes you have to go over with blue again for better blending. Bottom lid is done with a medium brush – first apply the blue, then black on outer corners only, as close to the lashline as possible.

Darken the eyebrows if necessary. Apply rhinestones with regular eyelash glue – one at the end, then other right under the arch of your eyebrow. Brush away the eyeshadow mess from under your  eyes with a large powder brush.

And one final ingredient – a fierce attitude! Like this ;)

Voila!
