Thursday was Audrey’s last day in NYC so we went to a bakery on Lower East Side called Babycakes, known for vegan cupcakes. Audrey had the best chocolate mint cupcake of her life, and I ordered a sugar-gluten-godknowswhatelse-free scone which nonetheless cost me $4.75. It was worth it! I feel like when you remove all the extraneous sugars and flavorings, the true flavor comes out. Babycake’s slogan should be: “Everything-Free Except The Cupcakes.”


I owed an explanation how at 5′2″ I ended up taller than her, haha.

For someone who’s traveling, Audrey pays a lot of attention to the way she is dressed. I learned the hard way that the minute you allow yourself to dress down, you’ll meet someone important on the plane. Murphy’s law!
