Ah, your one and only Barbie was authentic at least! Mine wasn’t, but it was just as beautiful. My best friend Anya had an authentic one, with bendy legs. She was the most popular girl in the class after this! We admired the Barbie’s makeup for hours.

Like you, I sewed an enormous amount of outfits for my beautiful doll. My greatest achievement was sewing her pantyhose out of a ripped pair of stockings, I used the same nylon thread and everything.
