Wow, very nice! I need some new makeup inspiration but I want surreal over the top artistic looks! I also love and use Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion, because what witch of the forest doesn’t love potions? When I run out, I will brew up my own to refill the bottle using this recipe: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/homemade-eyeshadow-primer
Oh what bright colours. I have been looking for a nice bright colours lippy but everything gets so washed out. Are you guys in australia yet and I missed it? I guess i continue the wait :P
Hi Doe, I’m so glad you posted this tutorial. When I saw the pic yesterday I was studying your eyes really closely trying to work out what colours you’d used. Possibly the best look yet, so pretty and feminine. Thank you!! XOXO
I must say, that this would have to be one of my very favourites. Doe you are an artist, the colour is astounding, tropical and lush. I love what you do!!
I totally love this look. BTW. Did you get your hair recoloured? What colour is it. That’s kind of the colour I’d lime to make my red hair to make it more vibrant.
It’s the same color I always use, Garnier Bright Auburn Blonde. Just looks different depending on the lighting/how freshly dyed it is (it fades gradually).
I love butterflies! I read a really sad article the other day about how they aren’t dealing with the climate change well at all. :(
I love blue morphos, but my all-time favorite is the monarch! One day when I have thousands of dollars, I’ll buy this monarch butterfly dress (designed by Luly Yang):
Hey, I was just wondering, what foundation you use? Your complexion is always so beautiful and radiant! I’ve been searching and searching for good reviews on foundations and I’m always wondering what someone with an olive undertone in their skin (me) should use. I know this sounds vague but I have pretty strong ukrainian heritage and I think it’s alot better asking someone who has russian heritage as opposed to someone with say asian or hispanic heritage, seeing as the skin undertone is way different.
Anyway thanks for a lovely tutorial! I always enjoy a good Limecrime tutorial, I used to drool over the colours in your last site and greatly enjoy this one :)
hihi, ur adorable… And I love your makeup! Cant wait til I get this months sallery, so I can order a product and test it out:D:D:D When I do, I will for sure make a litle rewiev on it on my blogg:)
This is reallllly pretty! I saved up some money so I think I can order a shadow or two and definitely a lipstick! I’m pale similar to you so I like to see someone else so pale doing bright looks!
I tried this tutorial last night. It was only a rush 10 minute play. But I was really happy with the result. I cannot wait to have the time to do it properly. And a party inwhich to wear it too!
When I was in Montana, I stopped in this amazing little store that sold lots of interesting things…rocks, geodes, fossils even. But they had one thing that caught my eye…a blue morpho preserved between two slates of glass. It’s beauty overwhelmed me, and now it is hanging in my bathroom against yellow walls. They are lovely butterflies.
I love this post! I collect butterfly specimens and while the blue morpho was the first one I ever acquired my favorite is the Madagascar sunset moth…sigh, amazing! I love the tutorial, even before you posted the name I thought…that looks a lot like my collection!
Keep the awesomeness coming!!!!
Lovely. I have worn Airborne Unicorn and Centrifuschia (I also have Styletto but I have yet to see how that looks on, haha) without the use of a pencil and it stays on all day. To be honest, I haven’t even worn it full force as of yet. I put it on the bottom lip and rub my lips together which is bright enough for me, almost too bright in the case of Centri ;)
I need to do film a YouTube review of your line. Love, love, love your makeup and I will be proudly sporting it at the Wicked Faire this year.
As an aspiring artist, i’ve always been experimenting with shades&hues when it came to expressing the eyes. ..I was always fascinated with how vibrant the colors could get. Finding one that portrayed the blue morpho like this is simply amazing! Thank you so much for your talented art <3!
Once Upon A Time…

The colours are absolutely beautiful, I love it!
Love this look, super pretty =).
That’s absolutely beautiful.
I love the winged liner, it makes it more butterfly-y.
Truly gorgeous.
So beautiful. You are so inspiring.
Lovely makeup, I really like the concept :)
I’m confused about this bit:
“Apply Centrifuchsia lipstick directly from the tube. Press lips together; blot; re-apply. Cosmopop opaque lipstick straight from the tube.”
So you apply Centrifuschia twice and then Cosmopop on top, right?

Oopsie, my bad! It’s just Centrifuchsia, no Cosmopop.

Your best bet is to go into a store and have them recommend you a foundation color.

Wow – you’re very talented and simply beautiful.
You remind me of Sophie Ellis Bextor, very special beauty :)
