INGREDIENTS
- Loose glitter in sky-blue
- Skin stuff (concealer, foundation, powder, blush)
- Silver-based creme shadow or lotion
- Any gray powder eyeshadow
- Black and metallic green liquid liners (try one by Prestige)
- Black mascara
- Nude lipstick, orange-ish lipgloss
- Small rhinestones
Clean your face and moisturize with your favorite moisturizer. Apply foundation and concealer, blending with a sponge. Put some on your eyelids and don’t forget that area around your mouth. Top off with a thin layer of translucent powder. Apply rosy pink blush to the apples of your cheeks. When finished, apply a generous amount of translucent powder under your eyes and cheeks – it will catch all the falling eyeshadow and will be easy to brush off when you’re done!
Put on black mascara to top lashes and halfway on the bottom lashes. Accentuate the crease with charcoal gray pressed powder eyeshadow. Don’t overdo it, just enough to give it some depth. Cover the upper lid with silver-based creme shadow. While the surface is still sticky, apply blue glitter with a regular make-up brush. Pick up the loose glitter particles with a scotch tape.
Metallic green liquid liner is applied to the waterline. Avoid getting it in your eye by only touching the outer edge of the rim (you can see in the pic below what I mean). Put on regular black eyeliner thinly on top lid, really close to the lash line.
Now the fun part: grab a bag of small rhinestones (I get them at Claire’s). Using regular eyelash glue, apply right underneath your lashes onto the lower lid. You can do any amount, but I felt like more than 4 would be too cluttered. The end result:

Lately I feel like if I’m going to do my eyes all crazy, lips shouldn’t take away but complement the look instead. A pearlized beige Covergirl lipstick came through in a big way, which I topped off with orange lipgloss (Revlon ‘Coral Glow’). Voila!

I just tried this on one eye. Insomnia. I used things I already had in place of things i would have to go out and buy. I used instead of glitter a pale blue and silver Bonne Belle eyeshadow set. needless to say it didn’t have the same dramatic effect but it was the right colour and very pretty. I lazily did a section of my face. I used a pale blue and gold Avon creme shadow. ( only own that creme shadow). I was then disturbed to find i din’t own any decent gray shadow so i used a deep charcoal with purple blue shimmer from a Lancome sample a friend gave me. I had a green prestige liquid liners but it just wasn’t the same. i must need a lighter softer green. The lipstick was hard! I had only one nude a thick old lancome. so i started with Carmex which moisturized and thinned the lipstick, then added a bit of a coral lipstick which was too pink so i searched and found some orange creme eyeshadow, now i needed gloss. all 3 of my clear glosses were no where to be found so i tried a pink glittery one it was all wrong i blotted my lips , added more orange and used tubed cherry Carmex which actually serves as a great gloss! I used lavender rhinestones i found in the dollar bin at Target. I think it turned out decent and i’d like to send/post a pic or 2 if they come out good if thats alright.
I do have one question:
I tried the prestige liner in my waterline but my eyes kept getting irritated and watering until it was gone and i had to put it on my lash line.
What do you suggest?
I used to have this problem with mascara which i started wearing in the 4th grade (my lashes are clear) over the years i built up tolerance to it and it’s been about 7 years since it bothered me. Should i suffer through the pain and try to get my eyes used to the liner?
