i hate britney spears! of course, when i say this keep in mind it is in reference to her music, in which she exhibits absolutely no musically talent, and her career, which has soley been driven by her over-sexed and kinda whorish image.
i do not judge her by her life outside the music business, because everybody does stupid shit sometimes.
however, im afraid i will NEVER respect britney for the tasteless music she produces, because personally i like music with substance and lasting ability.
something more in the veins of TLC’s crazysexycool, which i still jam to everyday despite the fact that it was released like 15 years ago.
Furthermore, i HATE lipsynching.
also, i noticed that the outfits,which looked quite good on paper, looked really tacky and run-down when actually fitted on britney…maybe thats the fault of the designers??

I’m not a fan of her music. I don’t hate the girl, I don’t know her and we all know the media knows the first thing on how to make a celebrity look bad and I don’t buy into the propaganda. I think she can perform well, as I’ve seen her do during the Music Awards on TV but my music taste is along the lines of The Killers, Regina Specktor, Tori Amos, Trashcans etc. I like creative lyrics and I don’t think she has that talent.

Britney has long been a guilty pleasure of mine, much to the chagrin of my music snob friends in high school. Her songs don’t have meaningful lyrics, but her music is just plain FUN! It’s ok to have fun once in a while, right? ;)

I used to love her and with a very guilty sick feeling still love her music.Oops I Did It Again….was my 1st C.D. But things have changed. She’s hurting animals in music videos now and I just won’t stand for that!

I know the chances that she is mentally stable are slim but how can you not see what is in front of your face? She obviously doesn’t care! This isn’t just about her. It may be HER music but a lot of people are making money off of it, people who torture animals, people who stood by and watched it happen and people handled the finances to make it happen.

When you attend this concert all of those people are profiting even if indirectly. I won’t but her C.D., I won’t put her songs on my myspace and if i had the cash I wouldn’t go to that concert whether it has elephants or not. The damage is done.

This is pretty hypocritical of someone who doesn’t test on animals and in the Lime Crime Make-up Faq is referred to as “an animal Lover”

I’m not some Peta maniac. I eat meat, when i stopped buying leather i didn’t throw away all my old leather belongings as a statement, i still use them. But where do you draw the line!?
obviously YOU don’t draw it at bullhooks!
