I picked up quite a few things on my trip to CA – I went to a Fairfax High School flea market, a vintage store called Jet Rag, a couple thrift stores and Forever 21 in both, LA and SF. Here’s the haul – well, part of it anyway!
- Masculine + feminine
- Florals, especially roses
- Lace + leather
- Gold > silver
- Animal jewelry
- Sunglasses
- Flower headbands
- Pearls & polka dots (accomplish the same purpose)
- Pastels – pale teals, creams & peaches

I LOVE both those dresses especially! I’m very into lace and ruffles at the moment :] Kind of like a grunge fairytale princess.

There’s just one place you missed on your trip: The Enchanted Forest Thrift Shop, my store where all clothes are only 25 cents! I have costumes, vintage, latex suits, wigs, lace items dyed purple, gypsy skirts…and more! Hehe~

I am looking forward to skirts, flowie clothes and pastels! I Am trying to get out of my comfort zone of bright colors and the sceneish/punkish style that I wear on a daily basis, wish me luck:)
Since you are also looking forward to pastels, I was wondering if you are going to do some new eyeshadow’s that are pastels? I have 4 of your eyeshadows and 2 lipsticks (1 being No She Didnt its so much fun!) I absolutely love them!

It’s in downtown LA, I believe near the convention center. The locals call it Sante Alley, it’s HUGE! Like I can’t describe the scope of it. And they sell absolutely everything.
I miss Jetrag and their $1 Sunday sales. I miss LA.
I just bought that dress today — the one labeled as “light as a feather”. So cute!! Now I just need to work up the confidence to wear it.

Aww! You guys are so lucky! It’s winter over here (as of yesterday) and colddd (but I still wear dresses and skirts, because I love them and it’s so much easier to find gleeful skirts and dresses than it is warm wear.) But a lot more tights and leggings are being employed at the moment!!
Oooh, nice haul!! I especially looove the gold leather jacket. Forever 21 is da bomb, also.
My summer obsessions:
- Anything with sequins/sparkle. Anything gold. Anything that evokes disco fabulousness.
- Favorite summer color: that wonderful neon electric coral color I keep seeing everywhere!! Closely followed by anything in the family of robin’s egg/sea green/turquoise.
- hair accessories. Especially jewelled barrettes and other bows/clips!
- any jewelry or clothing (or makeup, for that matter) that involves seahorses, or any other sea creatures.
For my bday (today!!) my sis ordered me an amaaaazing huge beautiful gold octopus hair accessory from etsy that has pearls and jewels, too. It’s like 3 of my current obsessions rolled into one!!! Cannot wait to try it on.
I like the new banner, but I’d like it better without the… starburst (I can’t think of what to call it) around the title. The effect over the green part. I think without that it would look better.
But that banner is a vast improvement and more in line with the direction you’re taking your look right now. It’s kinda NYLON magazine-ish, and would be even moreso without that effect.

I’m pretty much into the same things as you, actually. Kind of like rock’n'roll meets romantic (I’ve been inspired by dolly-kei lately). Not so much animal jewellery, but (faux or vintage) fur, feathers, leopard print and (recycled) animal bones ;). I love religious imagery as well.
I wish you’d come to France one day!

OT but today I became the proud owner of my 3rd Lime Crime lipstick. Centrifuchsia and Retrofuturist have now been joined by Airborne Unicorn. Nothing adds color to my life and outfits as Lime Crime does. I love your lipsticks so much!!!

Well its winter here, and im enjoying
a softer, warm look, fresh matte face with shimmery eyes, warm layers, black and grey…dark colours. they make me feel really cosy and warm during winter.
About two years ago was when I started wearing makeup every day, but it was just eyeliner. :P Now I’ve moved more into the zones of colorful mascara and vibrant eyeshadows(<3LIMECRIMELOVE!!!!<3) :D I only have pompadour and siren so far, but I'm savin up for more, so just you wait! XP
