If I were to join Cirque du Soleil, I’d be an Aerialist. Flying under the dome in a bright, sparkling costumes and performing dangerous tricks in the air. I know I am nowhere near capable of doing the tricks they do, I a girl can still dream, right? (and come up with crazy make-ups to feed her fantasies. :)
INGREDIENTS
- Orange, light blue and gold glitters
- Blue-green, Gold and UV Orange cream shadows
- Liquid black eyeliner
- False lashes
- Sticky lip gloss (lighter shades preferred)
Apply black mascara and black eyeliner on the inner rims on your eyes. Wet a medium-sized brush and apply the UV Orange eyeshadow almost all the way up to the browbone (leaving a little room for the gold highlight). While the paint is wet, pat on some Tangerine glitter with your finger. Underline your eyes with the blue-green cream and follow the same procedure, only with the light blue glitter. I put some Gold cream over the brow bone and on the inner corners of my eyes and stuck some gold glitter on top. Nice and shiny!
I used a dark brown/black eyeliner (the kind that has a thin brush) to draw on the black outlines. Start from the nose and paint outwards-going lines over the orange and over the blue, right underneath your lower lashes. If you are planning to wear false eyelashes with this look, apply black eyeliner close to the lashline on the upper lids as well. Draw on the 2 “false” lashes starting from the base of your lower lashes.
The eyebrows are blue. :) Grab a blue eyeliner pencil and draw them on above the natural brow line. If
you have naturally dark eyebrows, fill them in with a pencil to give them a blueish tint!
A lot of foundation was used because I wanted a really white, almost unrealistically pale complexion. I used an orange-ish blush on the cheeks.
Lips are my favorite part! I took a SUPER-sticky, glue-like Bobbi Brown lip gloss in Pale Lilac and painted on the lip shape I wanted (slightly exaggerated in my case since my mouth is pretty small and I wanted the color to really show). I then filled in the outline with the same sticky gloss. Gold glitter was applied with finger tips following the outline exactly. Now, I wouldn’t recommend wearing this out to a dinner (I don’t reckon glitter is very tasty!) – but it is a pretty awesome effect for pictures, wouldn’t you agree!

That’s amazing! Super cool! I’m a HUUGE Cirque Du Soleil fan and I’m always trying to do makeup like they do. I fail in so many ways :P You on the other hand, are super talented! Really cool technique and I just love the design! Keep it up :)
