Drawing by Honey Aimée
I was recently featured in an online game for girls called Powerbabe. Read the interview in English/Norwegian, Danish & Swedish (ok, I don’t speak any of those Scandinavian languages and it was translated; I did attempt to learn Finnish once though)!
To all my American Deerlings: Happy Thanksgiving! :)

That’s a really sweet interview! I must admit, I really envy your lifestyle, I’d love to be my own boss doing something so fun!

I have a $15 gift certificate from Sephora and I’m trying to figure out what I should get. In order to get the $15 off, I have to spend a minimum of $35. You’ve mentioned Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($16) quite a few times, so I think I’ll go for that. I’m a beginner with makeup and was wondering if you could possibly list a few things that you consider to be essential (and that are at Sephora). Thank you!

You have been an inspiration to many young girls for many years, myself included. Your effort to do all the things you have done is definitely appreciated. It has helped make me feel like I can be fashionable and look great, and I never thought that before. I owe every bit of my confidence to you. Your confidence in yourself and your message that any girl can look great in any way she wants to has totally changed how I see myself and I am forever grateful for that. Thanks Xenia, and happy Thanksgiving! :)

I definitely recommend getting a primer. I would recommend Too Faced Shadow Insurance – it’s essentially the same stuff as Urban Decay, only in better packaging. It’s a dollar more but at least you can squeeze out every drop of the product! With Urban Decay, a lot goes to waste due to the stupid packaging anatomy.
I also recommend getting the Paula Dorf Magic Stick Concealer. It’s under $20 and totally awesome, if you can find the right shade for you!

You don’t know how happy it makes me to hear this! We need more girls that are fearless in their clothing and makeup choices! ;D Keep it up darling!
