I love color because it keeps things exciting. There are so many things that can easily get one down, sad, depressed etc. Color introduces passion, whismy, vivaciousness, and excitement. Color makes me happy and it lifts up my spirit.
I love color because it has this fantastic ability to make my mood jump in the air. I have been suffering from a deep depression for almost 5 years now and bright colors have always gotten me in a better mood. In the summer i love to wear brigt dressed and fancy shoes. My goth friends thinks I’m a bit crazy, but i love it. :D
I don’t know what I would do without color! I love to envelope myself in it as much as possible, from clothes to art, and even in my food!
Color means so much to me because for me it’s a new phase in my life. When I was younger I was 110 pounds heavier, dealing with the death of my father, alone in a new school, all I wore was black. Now I’m healthy, older, and full of color and life. I walk shamelessly down the street in a pink mini skirt and neon rainbow knee high socks. Life’s too short to feel ashamed or shy. Be bright, be loud, be colorful, be NOTICED!
Colours surround us always, everywhere, not just as bright, artificial (and oh so fabulous) shades but also as a huge range of shades in nature. To me one of the most beautiful things are peacock feathers and butterfly wings, things that are vibrant in colour and can’t replicated by human. Still I think it’s important to see the beauty of muted and greyer shades: even though rainy days are usually seen as boring and depressing I find them stunning in their monochromatic harmony.
Colours define us and they always make a statement whether that’s the intention or not. They’re the most effective way to express yourself, since a colour statement will be noticed by everyone passing by.
Color is key in my life. It’s an easy way to express myself. Color is individual and unique, you can completly alter a look or a piece of art by simply changing the shade. Colors can also represent meanings and feelings. The world would be rather dull if everything was simply black and white. And limecrime is a perfect example of why color is everything <3
I love color because it represents infinite possibilities. Even a lack of color can be intensely meaningful. Color has the power to redefine us; a sexy pair of red stilettos or dramatic black lipstick can create a new mood or even allow us to become, if only for a few hours, a different character entirely. Colors are without limits, without rules; they are my escape from strict neck-to-toe uniforms and sock-checking policies. Color is what makes me feel free.
I love color because as a photographer… it adds a bit of pop to every photo.

I love color. If you were to look up color in the thesaurus you would get: vividness, life, vitality, excitement, interest, richness, zest, spice, piquancy, impact, force; pizzazz. How could someone not love something that is described as such.
Hi! I had no idea how to start this out, so I’ll begin with the basics-my name is Madison and I love color! As a young, single mother of 3 very small children, I know two things: 1) color is everywhere and 2) hardly in the places you want it!
I hardly get opportunities to dress up or get wild with color, but when I do, I feel like a more powerful woman. Suddenly, I’m not just the unwed child-rearer from small-town Oklahoma-I am a goddess! I can conquer anything and take on anyone! I can carry three children down a flight of shoddy apartment stairs, pay bills, go to class, shop for groceries, and you know what? I can do it in heels and the best outfit you’ve ever seen. I will prove it to the world that my life is just beginning and I will be larger than life! Some days, you just wake up and you KNOW you can’t face the day in jeans and your 2003 high school T-shirt, you want to make a stand and show everyone you’re a real woman-and you want the face to match! You quickly learn that color-even if only a little bit-can transform ordinary into extraordinary, gorgeous, wild, carefree, sexy, or bombshell. Even if I stood no chance to win, I refuse to believe that it’s only what’s inside that counts. How can people see who you are inside (that powerful, independent being) if you’re not willing to show them?

Colour makes me feel individual.. it helps me to realise that I don’t just blend into the dull, everyday background.
Also, colour makes me happy :) There’s definitely something psychological about different colours.
Color is the light. Color is, I think, the only way to make the life brighter. I remember the sun bright sun, on the blue sky on the beautiful sea, the grass of happiness and those fresh green tones… I feel so happy when I see some yellow flowers… I love the color pink !
Its a way to make the others happy, and I love people, I love them all, I would like them to smile everytime ! I wear colors, because when it’s raining, even the rain is happy. The rainbows… They are doors to heaven, or simply a laugh from a children !
Balloons flying in the sky, a horse with ribbons on his hair, a metallic blue butterfly… A pink cake, with some bright red strawberries on the top ! Ice blue eyes, red on the cheeks when we see our lover, a violet sunset, a orange sand.
The pale pink cherry blossoms from Japan. Rainbows from the indians saris. The gold from the wolf eyes. Those things are beautiful. Who’s not stunned when he see a sunflower fied ? Or colored lights from Paris ?

The nuances and variations that make each flower different from the one next to it and every person different from the person standing next to them.
Color gives you the ability to say and be exactly what you mean without uttering a single word.
I love color because it is empowering. It takes a strong person to wear it. Many people don’t want to wear color because they don’t want to stand out. And when I wear color, whether through makeup, or clothes, I feel strong.
Thinking of what we’d do without colour is really quite terrifying!

To me, COLOR is about expression. COLOR is about being who you are without regard to what the world thinks. COLOR is about being fearless. COLOR is quiet and gentle. COLOR is loud and fierce. COLOR is standing out when all those around you are in blacks and browns. COLOR is that bright pink tutu you pull out for special occasions. COLOR is your best friend. COLOR is playing fetch with your dog at the park. COLOR is a sunset. COLOR is a sunrise. COLOR is a roadtrip. COLOR is emotion.
COLOR is GLEE.
I love color because it is a way to express myself, and to bring joy to myself and others. It connects people, and inspires them to maybe be a bit different themselves. Color is an expression of openness and love, and can transcend all boundaries between people.

Everything is color, the color is everywhere in our life, even inside de boring black or white there is a expression of all colors.
I adore colour because it is the key to my own happiness. A few years ago I was working at a supermarket and found I was wearing black and other dull colours all the time when I wasn’t at work. I was so depressed working at the supermarket that it was drifting into my style! I realised what was going on and started sneaking pops of colour into my uniform – hot pink earrings, lime green eyeshadow. It really changed my attitude! Now I wear colour all the time, as bright and gleeful as possible!

Color is everything. Color changes your mood, the style you’re going for, brings out the best features, makes you look alive and real. Color has been scientifically proven to make someone smile at you, which makes you happy and smile at someone else, which makes them smile at someone else and so on and so fourth, which makes this place a lot better to live in. It can put a pep in your step on a bad day, and it can make you feel EVEN better on a great day. It can even change the shape of your body and face, just by the application and mixture of colors. Anyone who live a black, white, and grey life, is definitely not living. That’s not a happy life. Color…is love.<3

Color is everywhere. It expresses feelings, thoughts, etc. I wear a lot of blacks, greys, whites but every once in a while I’ll pull out a bright teal shirt or wear bright colored eye shadows for a pop. Although I wear darker clothing a lot I love color and I think I can realy express myself with it.
Most of my life these days is gray or black or white. I live in a city, my clothes tend to be neutrals. But I love having that wonderful splash of colour (small or huge) to brighten up all that dull. I need colour in my life to remind me that life isn’t about the safe, plain, and uninteresting, it’s about excitement and glee!
I used to wear pretty much exclusively black and/or jeans. This blogazine has actually encouraged me to try more color, I have brightly colored nylon, most of the Lime Crime colors, skirts and dresses… It’s helped me break out of my shell.
The world would be boring without the vast variety of colors we have here!

I love color because there’s not much of it where I live. I love wearing it because I love turning heads. I love it when people stare. Without color, life would be even more boring than it already is. Color is happiness… You never think of a happy moment in black and white, do you? Rarely, anyways. I love color because it puts my mind in a place where no one can touch me, where imagination runs wild with nature. The different feelings that different colors give me is a unique experience that changes all the time. It’s a never-ending mystery.
Color not only has the ability to brighten my mood. But everyone around me as well. I work in a restaurant where everyone looks the same in all black. I wear my Lime Crime eye dusts, repaint my nails with fabulous colors, and almost always have bright jewelry and scarves on. It’s always a topic of conversation with my tables ( from the blue hairs on sunday to the construction workers on lunch break) I think it brings something gleeful to everyones day and helps my tips out too!
The company I work for recently enforced a new “black and white” dress code and I thought, “how…dull!”
Color is my tool for self expression, fun, and just making people smile. I feel happy and confident when I’m colorful and a little dull when I’m not. Different colors can evoke different emotions in others around you and let you stand out in a crowd of people.
Black and white can be beautiful, but color can liven up any day or mood :)
I love color because, as an artist, it brings things to life. I love picking out color palettes before coloring in a drawing. Also, as a color guard instructor, what color flags and make-up you choose are important in interpreting the song you’ve chosen.
Basically, life would be boring without color.
Color allows you to shout to the world, “Yes, stare at my neon yellow tights, my bright pink eyeshadow! Stare, because I’m not going to be confined to gray sweatpants and t-shirts!” It’s a form of expression; it makes you look like a more interesting of a person.

You know, it’s been proven that colors can change your emotions. How lovely is it that we can have that much control over our days by simply choosing baby blue or candy apple red attire. Color is my intoxicant, my anti-depressant, my fierceness, and my anger. And one of my favorite feelings is opening up a fresh box of crayons with all the new tips and not a single color missing, haha
I love color because I think it’s a perfect way to express oneself, regardless of if the color is in your lipstick, clothing, or a hot pair of shoes you’re wearing, or maybe in a painting in your home or throw pillow on your couch. Color allows us to express who we are, and I think it’s a wonderful way to do so!
