I’m writing late at night on Thursday because tomorrow I’m getting up at 5 am to go to Henri Bendel on 5th Avenue for an Open See! This is a casting call for all indie jewelers, accessory designers and yes, cosmetic makers to show off their stuff to the buyers and possibly launch their careers.
The line stretches for blocks from what I hear, so I must get there extra-early and be prepared to give them my best pitch about my lipsticks in under 3 minutes! I will report back as soon as I can. Keep your fingers crossed for me, deerlings!

I mean I totally hope you do we, I’m not being a bitch or anything. It’s just I didn’t realise that they stocked items like your line – you know colourful and our there.

Bendel’s is a cosmetics Mecca- easily the largest selection of any department store!
Doe, wishing you so much luck- just be yourself, and you’re bound to stand out (looking at the pic above, just wearing some color would do that!)
So many cosmetic lines got their start this way, by walking right into a department store and demanding their attention! Go get’em girl!

lol don’t feel bad you didn’t know guys. I’ve lived in the U.S. my whole life and I didn’t even know a store called “Bendels” existed! I don’t watch Gossip Girl and I’ve traveled only the west coast. *shrugs*
