High-End vs Low-End: a Shoe Game

Category Fun & Games

Think you know your high-end designer shoes from their lower-end counterparts? Let’s test your knowledge and play a game. The rules are simple:

  • Take a guess how much each pair retails for and post your TOTAL (for all 17 pairs) in the comments.
  • Shoes in the collage are a mixture of designer and designer-inspired brands.
  • Prices range from $80 to $1,124 a pair.
  • Actual price list will be announced next Friday.
  • Whoever gets the closest number will receive a special treat from me!

All good? Now do your calculations and post the totals. ;)

  • Alex says:

Total, $4,350. Roughly. What’s sad is I gave upon approx. calculations at one point and I’m a buyer and wardrobe stylist. It’s always a sign one needs to at least window shop more when you become that clueless as as to cost.

  • Tygenco says:

I can’t even begin to calculate costs of those shoes…
They’re all very pretty though, and I can’t wear any of them (because of high arches and such)

  • Chee Ann says:

I’m horrible at guessing stuff like this so I’m not going to take a shot. However — will you also tell us where all of these shoes are available from when you announce the actual price list? I’ve been looking for something similar to a few of these and I’d love it if they ones I like are in the low-end range!

  • Dinah says:

    I’m guessing approx: $5500

    Final answer!

  • Nubby says:

I recognize a bunch of these!

On average, the designer ones are probably pushing between $800-1100.00 retail, while the knockoffs are in the $25-150.00 range…so I’m gonna guess $6500.00.

Even though some of the reproductions of the designer shoes look cute, the comfort and workmanship can’t compare. I’ve taken the cheap route too many times and have vowed to never do it again! Dries and Chloe from here on out!
