I would love to see a shade of green! I do a lot of nature inspired costume work and themed outfits. Usually I have to resort to painting my lips with Ben Nye aquacake which really dries them out and smears and runs if you apply gloss over it. A highly pigmented green lipstick would be right up my alley.

seafoam would be pretty but weird even for me. I see a pale green working as well as a deep enchant type green-black. I suppose a lime for limecrime. But could those others really work? maybe for people in theatre or who go to a bunch of cons. I’m getting into overcommenting now but thinking about lipsticks is fun lol.

I would like to see some holographic or iridescent shades, like coral with blue shimmer, pink with copper shimmer or purple with teal shimmer… And editorial-style colours like silver, green, violet would be good too, although I wouldn’t neglect the wearable shades!

Try Lasting Mauve from Avon. I love it for exactly that reason! It’s a gorgeous pink that works for any skin tone I’ve tried it on, and has this glittery gold shimmer, too. I love it and hope mine never runs out.

I picked other because whilst I’d love to see some more crazy shades, I’m not as likely to buy them – but I’d be interested in an expansion in the corals, pinks and purples. Because they’ve got quite a neon, pretty edge to them, I’d like to see more shades that are equally as pretty as D’Lilac, Great Pink Planet, and Countessa Flourescent, but just in a different hue. For example, pinks that are rosier more than purpley but still bright and beautiful. Maybe another shade of red, and a nude, and a really dark purple – I also do really like the idea of exploring more blues like navy?

I think metallic foil colors would be better than glitter colors- I would DIE for a bright foil color, but glitter in an opaque lipstick often gets lost behind the creamyness and never reaches the full potential of it’s glitteryness. Better to pat the glitter on top if it must be there.

i’d actually love to see a true, opaque, nude color. I’ve tried everything- every lipstick seems to have SOME other tint to it, and concealer/foundation dry out my lips too much to be worn for more than a few minutes. i’m looking for a nude so pure it almost “whites out” my lips! so definitely not a wearable nude…
i am seconding the glitter lipstick! although we all know it is bad enough getting REGULAR lippy on our teeth… imagine getting glitter stuck between your teeth too!

I completely aree. I’d love a very very light almost white nude. Maybe even White would be awesome. And dark colors would be great all the dark colors out there are brown. I could really go for the dark purples n reds. I so agree about the nude lipsticks having weird tints to them!

Crazy shades are fun to look at, but I’m waiting for a more normal shade. I’ve been eying your cute lipsticks, but I would rather spend my limited funds on a color I can use often.

I love the opaque aspect of the lipsticks, but I would love something with a little shimmer. Not frosty, but a little something extra. I wanted to click all of the options but it wouldnt let me…. I would love Lime crime colours AND colours that are more wearable but still have the quality we have come to expect from your company

that’s actually pretty close to a shade Too Faced has (which i bought and LOVE). find it at sephora. i can’t remember the shade but they only have like five colors so you can find it.

Hmm, I’ll look. I’m very particular though, it has to have that black under-note. In reality I’m sure that image is not true to the actual color, as if you watch the opening sequence you can tell that the whole thing is color-processed. Which then leads me to believe that that shade doesn’t exist in reality. And this makes me sad.

You could put a little black eyeshadow on your lips then go over it with a red lip gloss. I have one from l’oreal, their “infallible” lip gloss in rebel red that’s similar to that. Here are some shades I’d die for…
A rich royal purple like Empress, only in creamy lipstick form!
A bright violet lipstick. Brands often have violet, but they mute it down too much, a nice neon pinky purple with no mute would be divine!
Lime green. I’ve never seen a high end lime green, and I think it would have as much potential as No She Didn’t if the colour was right.
An indigo or very dark purple shade of lipstick.
As you can see, I love my purples!

While I love the insane bright colors, I think a deep, deep true plum (none of that yellowish tint I see everywhere!) or navy would be fabulous, vampy, and bring out another side of Lime Crime that stays true to the mission of stand-out colors — perhaps you could theme them around Candyfuturistic versions of our favorite mythological creatures?

I’ve gotta be honest: if you want “wearable” shades, why are you looking at lime crime? EVERYONE makes “wearable” shades (I’m putting wearable in quotes because I don’t think there should be a barrier between couture, costume, and streetwear).

True, but no one makes a ‘wearable’ shade that’s as highly pigmented as lime crime. I think they’d be a good addition for that reason (though still secondary to the more unusual shades).

I’d love a silver foil (tinsel?) or gold foil color – which would be appropriate for the holidays and beyond.
Otherwise, dark shades of blood, grey and navy would look lovely – similar to the winter nail polish trends.

I would love to see a deep purple, maybe a burgandy and maybe a creamy colour and a white. I think a wite lipstick would be interesting and would allow for mixing. I also agree with the other comments about silvers and golds.

I too would like to see more crazy colors, but a few select staple shades of great quality would definitely be welcomed (like a perfect nude lipstick). I also would love to see what kind of amazing glitter lipsticks you could come up with, given your devotion to quality!!

I love the idea of a navy blue lipstick, and a coral-type lipstick. I’m definitely all for the crazy colours, though! – Green has been suggested, and that sounds woooonderful. I also like the pastel colours idea.
One thing I’ve had on my brain this week is two-tone lipcolour. I had this wonderful lipstick years ago which went different colours depending upon where you stood to view the face – it did the spectrum from blue, to purple to pink. And I loved it. Unfortunately I don’t remember the brand and it’s long-gone. Boo. But that, that would be absolutely fantastic.

I’m not a huge wearer of lipstick, but I voted for the ‘crazy colours’ option. Because, as you know, there are millions of ‘wearable shades’ out there already ;)
I would love to see gold or silver lipstick, actually, and maybe a different, darker shade of blue. I’m invisaging an electric blue :)

I third the notion of having a colored mascara that can be easily seen. I recently bought some bright green mascara, and my hopes were crushed when I tried it and found out it was only just a very light tint of green.

I agree with many previous comments. An irredescent or really glittery lipstick would be sweet. Like, pik with green glitters, or a metallic copper, silver, gold, or pewter! I personaly wouldn’t wear green lipstick, but something original but not crazy over the top would be perfect!

I couldn’t imagine being more excited about a new color other than No She Didn’t until I read that…imagining a seriously metallic and possibly glittery silver gives me that same rush of hopeful anticipation!!! PLEASE make that one!!!

I chose more wearable colors. I actually would have liked to see a darker, more blue toned purple in time for my Halloween costume but I’m probably going to wear the empress magic dust on my lips. Having more crazy colors would be cool because I have some ideas for photo shoots but I’d probably only wear them once. Maybe make some more bright colors and make a sampler of mini tubes.

yea, if there where like 4 or 5 crazy colors in a sample pack I’d get them because I wouldn’t wear them to work but I could use them for photo shoots. Also if there were a sample pack of the more “normal” colors I’d buy that because I don’t wear lipstick often enough to justify buying one regular sized tube of one color, I’d like to have choices without having to spend $80

I think the sample size is a great idea. I can’t wear really dramatic make up most of the time (due to work and I tend to be lazy with make up when I have to be out of the door by 8:30am) so a small sample size of lipsticks for me would work better. Plus it will be good if you aren’t sure what a color will look like on you. At stores like Sephora you can try them out first but when you buy online you can’t so I think a sample set would sell well for you.

Ok i know I voted for the Deep Colors, but there are a few things that would make lime crime stand out.
Make a good NUDE shade that goes well with color tones, just so that you have a natural staple for just in case :).
Aside from that I MUST HAVE A TAXI CAB YELLOW lipstick!!!! That is a definite must! Or a Lime Green and a Chartreuse-y type of color.

I would LOVE to see a dark forest green shade. I know it sounds insane, but it could be a lovely colour!
And I know lots of attention goes to Gold and Silver, but I’m IN LOVE with bronze and copper shades! A marvelous bronze would be divine with steam punk costuming too. Or even a futuristic look, but with a twist. It’s a beautiful warm shade that often get over looked. Heck, I’d adore an eye shadow in that colour too!

I would like to see some colors, especially purples and darker blues that are more suitable for olive and yellow skin tones. Gold and silver would also be very cool.
I love all the current colors but honestly many of them seem to be more suitable for pale or blue-based skin tones. You should have people of all different skin tones test and model your lipsticks!

I would like to see both more crazy colors and some more wearable colors (particularly in shades of pink).
I agree with those who have suggested vibrant, banana or taxi cab yellow, as well as various shades of green (perhaps a lime and a lush grass green). Greens could be particularly useful for costuming and I don’t think I’ve ever come across a good quality green lipstick in an appealing color. A deeper blue and plum would be nice as well.
I would love to have a soft, warm, gold or champagne-y-pink-gold that could easily be worn alone or layered/mixed with other colors for a delicate gold touch- a very fairy tale princessy color.

How about mood lipsticks?! I recently found my mother’s old favorite mood changing lipstick from the 80’s, its BRIGHT orange but comes out in other colors, yours however, would really come out bright orange and others colors ;]. I know it may not be possible to have one go from blue to red and such but maybe some fun colors that change to similar colors.
And yes please to golds, a wearable but vibrant purple, and some metallics! Something along the lines of the Kryolan gold colors!

I have to agree with almost all the comments here. It would be Awesome to see a nude, some reds, some darker colours and some crazy ones! (esp. a yellow!) I also love the idea of white, as a color to mix!
I voted for nudes, because, I generally focus on Lips or eyes (I’ve never done really strong eyes and lips at the same time), And would love a fabulous nude for the times I go for a really bright eye. But now with my Oh no She didn’t coming soon, I might just have to revise that!

What I love about your line right now is the neon kick that your colors have, which make them really unique. I would love to see some darker colours. Like a forest green or a blue-black colour. Its nice to have a couple of regular day-to-day colours but I like so far that there are colours! I vividly remember my desperate search for a purple lipstick.
Also, unlipstick related, I would love if you could come up with coloured masqueras (SP?). They’re almost impossible to find and I would kill to have some hot pink lashes.

I’d describe the color as a black velvet red. Not too brown, not too orange, not too blue. A true red, but dark if that makes sense. Excellent for tribal bellydance, darker moods, Halloween, the street you name it!

Honestly, I think you’ve already produced the Barbie pink I’ve always looked for.
So I think Lime Crime should stick to its roots with hyper pigmented crazy colours.
You need a lime! And the glitters that everyone has mentioned would be amazing. White sounds like a great idea. And the absolute nude that someone mentioned, that makes your lips basically disappear would be perfect, I often just wipe some concealer over my lips but that’s not ideal.

I would definitely like to see a dark red/blood color. Don’t worry about those “wearable” shades. You’ve wisely chosen to differentiate yourself with bold otherwise un-findable colors. If you were to make anything more mainstream while still using the high pigment technology I would hope it would be foundations and concealers.

I’m going to second (third?) the sample-pack option. I don’t know if I’ve ever finished an entire tube of lipstick, and it;s a lot more fun to play with a variety of colors than just one.
The overall ideas I;ve seen are:
1. purple
2. metallic
3. yellow
4. iridescent
and I agree with all of them (even though a yellow lip would look AWFUL on me). I also wouldn’t mind seeing an intense peacock blue.
Have you thought about doing a line of glosses? I know a lot of people suggested nail polishes, but there are tons of places to get brightly pigmented nail polish. In contrast, it’s hard to find fun, colorful glosses without shopping in the low-quality tween makeup area at the local drug store.

I agree, i have been looking for iridescent lipstick for ages, but most of the lipsticks seem to be quite pinky and purply,so alot more colour range should be included. there should be a lime crime colour, as it is the signature colour, and there should be some yellows and some metallic and sparkly lipsticks, as you cant buy them anywhere else with nearly the same quality

As much as I love crazy colors, I’d also like some more practical ones. I’ve been dying to find a good peachy-pink, it seems a lot of pinks on the market are overly shimmer-based or too blue-based for my taste. I would also love some deep reds and blues :D

I’d like to see some dark purples and a few different shades of green–camo green, grass green, and maybe a minty, D’Lilac-ish shade of green.

I already voted, but I would definitely like to see more lime crime-esque colors. Your wearables were super lovely, but no she didn’t needs companions, in more brights, like yellow(susnshine and neon), neon orange, electric blue, and green,maybe a violet, and I like the ideas of funky glitter colors, unusual iridescents, foils, glitters, navy, deep purple, silver, and white. Basically I’m echoing everyone else, but I still wanted to get it out there.

I think a bunch of like cool but bright pastels would be wicked, someone suggested white but light buttercup yellow and a light 30’s british green (like the younger sister’s room in atonement) would be very like lipstick a my little pony would wear if she were human :P
oh and warmer colours would be nice too, like a warm coral-y pink with gold flecks, very marie antoinette.

I voted for darks- there are a lot of dark lipsticks out, but they go on so sheer they look more like an old bruise or they’re so dry that it’s like painting my mouth with cheap oil pastels.
I’d love a wine-to-burgundy shade for winter (to be paired with gold eyeshadow so I look like a living Christmas ornament, for example), a navy to match the vintage Navy sweater I found in just my size, a purple as dark as, if not darker than, Empress, and a brown that’s a pit purpley, like a sticky cake.
I’d also love metallics, like a coppery color to feel like I’m a time traveler from an alternate past, and would try on a holographic lipstick, but I could most see myself falling madly in love with jewel tone and jam colors.

I say more wearable colours. I really really want to purchase some of your lipsticks, but I wouldn’t wear your more Lime Crime colours. I have green hair, so wearing colourful lipstick would sort of…compete. And my clothing style isn’t very colourful or effeminate, so it would just be very out of place. You should create a really beautiful nude. A lot of nude lipsticks are just…wrong. Or perhaps you should make some nude-ish colours with rainbow coloured sparkles or sheens, so it’s like a little hint of colour instead of layering it on thick.

I agree with something mentioned up the list a bit: LIPGLOSSES! Right now for high quality lipgloss we have limited options – (like MAC which is lovely but not very often is it truly pigmented once applied.) I would LOVE to see some complimentary glosses to the lipstick line! OH and brushes not sponges for applicators :D

All the above sounds awesome! I love the idea of silver & gold and especially forest green! Forest green sounds absolutely divine. Other than that, there’s also the dark dark red which sounds fantastic (I love dark colours and someone also mentioned a blue-ish purple, I pictured it as being sort of really magical, the kind fairies would wear :) Some pretty awesome suggestions up there!!

I’d like to see a green or two. Like a bright green that matches the lime green eyeshadow you’ve already got and a deeper forest green.
And metallics, if it’s possible. I’m always on the lookout for good silvery lipstick and still haven’t found any. Same with gold, although the gold I’m looking for is more akin to an old BonBelle colour that I had and lost and can’t find anywhere–I figure if anyone can make a gold lipstick that has a nice bronzey undertone it’d be you :)

Oh, yeah, I’ll add that glitter isn’t really necessary. It’s not hard to pat some glitter on top of your lipstick, if that’s the look you’re going for. (though it would awesome so have some glittery glosses to mix and match with your lipsticks.)

Darker shades would also be great. I have olive skin, so the pale colours and pinks/oranges do not go with my skintone at all! I’d turn bright yellow should I wear them haha. These colours may be perfect for those with beautifully pale skin naturally, but for us with a hint of olive…not so much.

Just like everyone else, I’d love to see more bright, outrageous shades. Greens and teals and whatnot. I think a lime green would be gorgeous.
I’d also love to see darker shades. Like a deep purple or forest green. And I’d buy as many shades of purple as you can come up with.
And (responding to everyone else) as much as I’d love to see glitter, I just don’t think it’d work. Every glitter lipstick I’ve tried has the texture of sandpaper.

I would love to see a mushroomy gray. Also, a blackish-purple would be nice. Also, I think a frosted version of D’lilac and No She Didnt would be awesome. Or, make a frosty lipstick that we could layer over the lippies to make them frosted. An opalescent black would be awesome. I also agree with a green.
This is off topic, but colored mascara would be awesome. Maybe something similar to that Imju fiberwig formula, where it has fibers to extend the lashes (making them more noticeable).

I would love to see some intense lip stains. Reds, pinks, corals, purples…..lots of color without the thick goopy look of creme lipsticks or glosses, and without the somewhat chalky appearance of the current opaque lipsticks. While I’m certainly not knocking the opaque lipsticks (they look fabulous on you and I’m sure others), I wouldn’t be able to pull them off with my coloring.

I am a complete sucker for dark colors. Like, maybe a bruised blackberry-ish shade.
Also, muted colors – think Metro nail polish from Sephora by OPI but for lips. Much as I love neon, moody grays are gorgeous.

i love the thickness of limecrime lipstick. the wild colors are great, but if you made a few more “work/everyday” colors like coral, berry or burgundy with the same formulation i’d love you forever. right now the lipstick i can only wear once a week is nicer than my everyday lipstick! limecrime lipstick goes on in one coat, doesn’t rub off, and looks awesome. i’d love to have that in my everyday lipstick.
