Your going to have an awesome time! I hope you go to the Medieval Times restaurant. lol. Another city you should consider visiting in the future is New Orleans. I went there last summer and fell in love with it. I have a feeling you would really like it too.

So many fashion magazines have tips for body types and such, but they almost always ignore tall women. Or if they cover tall, it’s tall really thin willowy types.
I’m a tall woman with nice sized boobs and a big ass.
I’d really love to hear how one could use that to their advantage, like you say for instance someone with bushy eyebrows not hiding it but playing it up. I always feel “too tall” while everyone is trying to be taller! (I’m 6 feet tall!)
that being said, I’m never afraid to wear heels.

I visit Vegas quite often since I have family there, but unfortunately I won’t be there then.
Anyway, you’re staying at the MGM? Beautiful place, my sister had her wedding there. I think you’ll love it! Very regal, hehe.

I’m a Sin City baby, born and raised! I wish I still lived out there so I could be your tour guide but I’m stuck in Canada instead. Make sure to walk all the way down the strip: Most times, the best part about Las Vegas isn’t what’s inside the casinos but the shows going on outside! Bellagio, Treasure Island, New York New York! New York New York may not be anything new for you, but you must go on the roller coaster anyway.
Las Vegas is a great town, you’re sure to have tons of fun!

I live in Vegas. ^__^
You’re coming in right as CES is leaving. Perfect timing.
Fun fact: The MGM Grand hotel was once the largest on the strip…and has its own zip code. ^__^

Hello!! My name’s Maria, I am from Spain, I always read your blog cause I really love it, and sometimes i comment ;) I have family in Queens-NYC and I’ve been there 2 times, last one was in August ‘08, that time i wanted to visit something else than NYC (which I absolutely love)and was 3 days in Las Vegas! my dream come true!! Im in love with Las Vegas! we also visited the Grand Canyon and flight in helicoper etc, sooooo great! i will never forget it! I was at the Tropicana Hotel, which is in front of the MGM Hotel, we wanted to stay at the MGM but everything was so fast that there weren’t free rooms! MGM Hotel is one of the best ones in my opinion, so big, there’s a restaurant inside it which is like a jungle (we had dinner there and saw Ka from Cirque du Soleil) and the Studio 54 Disco, etc. It was so hot in August! I went also to Freemont street but in the day only, and there the gifts are cheaper, hehe! I dont wanna bore you, I could talk hours about this! Have a lot of fun there, I envy you! ;) And congratulations for your blog which is really really great. Greetings!

Aii, no Las Vegas for me, my friend literally just got back from there today!
You could always come visit Minnesota…whats not to love about -30 degree weather (with air standing still!). Its got plenty of…charm? Haha. No, but I totally rock a russian style coat, faux-fur muff, rimmed hat and all. And Minnesota is probably the only state where you can pull that off as a vintage fashion statement thats also very practical.

On a side note, the purple luggage is very chic. Do you mind if I ask where it’s from?

♣ Maria G.
Thanks for all the info Maria! I’ll be sure to check it out. :)

Ahh, everybody loves my purple luggage. :) I got it at Target. Like most things at Target, it was surprisingly cheap ($25 for a 4-piece set?!) but solid quality. Plus, you can see it from far-away on the luggage belt!

Minnesota weather sounds nice right about now – it’s -4F in NY!!!

Ah, you are coming here!
I’ve lived here all my life, so if you need any advice on places to check out, I’m your girl. ^.^
There’s about a million different sushi places. Plenty of wonderful things to gawk at off-strip. The Vegas Premium Outlet mall has designer stuff for super-cheap.
Oh, and I’d think you’d enjoy the Adventure Dome.
Too bad you aren’t coming for Halloween, though! They turn the Adventure Dome into Fright Dome and it’s so un-scary that it becomes funny… I’ve heard many stories.
I hope you enjoy your stay!

Awesome luggage! I have the same set from target as well but mine is pink. And it is easy to spot when at an airport.
