A pill you could take to change the colour of your nails instantly! Don’t like the colour? Take another! With 0 side effects :)

Not really a beauty product, but I really wish they had glittery Tattoo ink. I have 6 tattoos, and they all could use some glitter. Then again, I think everything could use some glitter. I actually discussed this with my tattoo artist and she said it was probably a bad idea, seeing as glitter is basically little pieces of metal, which I’m sure is terrible for the skin. So I’d love for them to invent something like that.
Also I’d love for lipstick to apply zebra or leopard print. That would be amazing, though I’m sure I’d get weird looks lol.

Mood Shadow! I know they have things like nail polish that changes color in the sun, but what about eye shadow that changes with your mood (or at least body temperature like mood rings). It would be shimmery and it would go on smooth. There would be a few different kinds too, pastel, bright, dark.

I have two dream products! One, i would totally love a lip product that made your lips taste and look like candy canes. I’m talking AS shiny and AS yummy as one!
Two, I want, no, I NEED an interesting little product for feet. like, when you dip your feet in a bowl of this magic liquid, your feet are instantly made perfect! No more need for nail polishes (it paints your toes for you), no more exfoliation, no more work!

Nail polish that applies in patterns. Just a quick swipe with the brush on your nails and voila, stripes, polka dots, etc.

Fool proof foundation that is never too thick or oily, but evens out the dry patches as well and blends automatically. It would cover blemishes and make skin beautifully porcelain.
I’m terrible at applying make up and still get bad skin :[
Anything that would make my skin like yours would be amazing. I’d like to keep some of my freckles though.

Instant Eye colour changer, without using contacts. Like eye drops, you choose a color, put some drops in, and it lasts 12 hours!

Hmmm, this is a good question.
A foundation that tans with you.
I am about 20 different colours during the year, from super pale to bronzed goddess, so having to buy a new foundation for each change is a pain in the patootie. I think someone should invent a foundation that when you wear it, it can tell how tan you are and adjusts. That way, the gorgeous porcelain girls will be able to find a foundation that matches, and those of us who might spend a little too much time in the sun are covered too. :D

A lotion that turns itself into a full ‘make-up look’ when you apply it to your face – no need to spend 2 hours in front of the mirror and searching for different brushes in your drawers anymore!

I wish that there was some brand for crazy haircolours (like grean, pink, blue, purple..) which lasted for a LONG time. Like when you colour it brown, for example, and not something that lasts for just three weeks!

I really have a big problem with pesky zits so I’d like to have a foundation/concealer that not only effectively conceals blemishes but also gives the illusion of a flat surface since no regular foundation or concealer can flatten bumps.

My biggest problem has always been finding a foundation that is pale enough for me (I’m a good two shades lighter than 99% of the products out there) and isn’t tested on animals. As well as being oil free, never patchy, as magically even as possible (always!!) and that covers up freckles flawlessly..
That would just be the biggest dream come true!

This is a toughie question. I’d like to see a perfume that creates your own unique smell according to mood. Instead of buying a ton of different perfumes for different moods/occasions, this one would adjust itself to how you were feeling and would be uniquely you =). A sweet and dreamy floral for when you’re feeling mellow, something spicy and sexy for when you’re feeling adventurous, something fruity and fun for when you’re feeling cooky… the possibilities would be endless =).
Although, it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to wear it when you were in a bad mood… I’m not sure what kind of smell this dream perfume of mine would produce then =P.

Ooh, since I always wish that my hair were different colors to go with my outfits .. I’d totally love some sort of hair product that changes your hair colour IMMEDIATELY, without damaging it at all :D AND that it’d actually have the RIGHT color you want! I always hate it when the dye I use is a different shade from what I actually want ! :)

Mine would be 2 things…I would LOVE that little machine that does all your eye makeup for you (like in The 5th Element). You just hold it up to your eyes and it does whatever you want it to and if you change your mind hold it up again and it’s something different. It would just save me lots of time! Nothing is worse than color coordinated your eye makeup to the outfit you’re going to wear and then you change your mind on the outfit after the makeup is done!
Also, I would love instant nail polish! Nail polish that dries and hardens immediately so no waiting to do things.
Aaah a girl can dream!

I’ve always loved the look of freckles. So I’d love for like a foundation or a creme or something that could give the look of freckles without having to use a eyebrow pencil or something and dotting it all over the face.

A magic wand/cream that instantly makes wounds and scabs heal. Hopefully- It would also get rid of discoloration and scarring.
For Me- This is a beauty product. I have Dermatillomania- an Impulse control disorder that Causes me to pick at my skin. Of course- I hate the way it looks and I wish I could just get rid of all the scarring and discoloration!

well I think we should have a consol that is programed with our bodies that looks like a PDA and you could simply change your hair color, hair cut, eye color, ect… i thinks it would be amazing… evn though it would get rid of my job (cosmetologist) i would trade my job any day for that beauty product!

Eye drops that change your eye color & and hairspray that changes your hair color. But not just to “normal” colors. For example, one day you could have sparkling purple eyes and white hair, and the next day sea green eyes and gold hair. That would be amazing! Everything would be so much more magical.

I would love the make up applicator they had made up for the movie The Fifth Element – one of my favorites despite, but I would LOVE to be able to choose, then look into the little box, and *poof* make up! Or if I didn’t like it, *poof again!*
If not that, then that perfect shade of retro red lipstick that will last all day, won’t dry my lips out, and will let me smooch my fiance on our wedding day. That quest seems to be the holy grail!

I wish there would be an eye shadow that applies perfectly, now matter how clumsy you are!
In one little box would be 3 colours. It wouldn’t be necessary to apply every colour seperately, you just have to sweep over all 3 colours and apply to your eye.
Et voilà, you have the perfect eye make-up with a nice shadow in the crease and colours that are made to match and are perfectly blended into each other.
That would be wonderful :)

I wish there was a cream you could apply to your skin that takes the sun tan away and makes it pale. I love the look of pale porcelin skin! Maybe it could take away freckles too, not that I mind them. It would just be nice to be able to choose or change your skin tone to a lighter color. Like opposite tanning cream!

A nail strengthener that actually works. (A pill, or a polish or something) Mine are genetically weak, and they peel and break all the time. I hate leaving them unpolished because they looks so ugly, but I don’t have the money for manicures, and I can’t paint them well myself.

Nail Polish Wand
So that instead of trying to decide which color to put on and taking the time and care to paint it on, you just tap the wand to the tip of your nail and its painted! And if you don’t like the color you just pick another and tap it again to change it.
Time saving and slipping up will be impossible.
I’d love to have this.

red lipstick that actually stays on all day, just adheres to lips, and doesn’t feel like i’m wearing anything. i know they’re trying to create it, but what i’ve used so far just doesn’t work.
and magic color change eye shadow would be awesome, like a clear shadow you put over to change the color. that way when i change outfits to go out at night i don’t have to redo my makeup.

I’m surprised there are so many people who’d want to skip the putting on makeup process. Personally I find it incredibly cathartic.
As for the beauty product I’d like to invent, I’d love to see self-cleaning brushes, so I’d never have to worry about muddying my look, or a truly non-transferring lipstick. So often I skip on the lips knowing that I enjoy kissing and eating far too much to sacrifice! :)

Practically, probably eye makeup that comes off easily with makeup remover, but won’t move if I rub my eyes (as I have a terrible habit of doing).
Or hairdye that actually makes hair *healthier* instead of damaging it, smells nice, only adheres to hair, not skin, and can be applied like shampoo yet goes on even!

I’d really like a hair bleach that would lighten only up to the certain shade it says on the packet. It’d make doing my roots a cinch, since I know I’d never over-bleach the parts that I’d accidentally overlapped onto. Also, it’d make lifting to white perfectly easy.

A skin tint. I’m not sure in what form it would come, perhaps in a tiny bejeweled vile in the same hue as the tint. You would drink from say a tiny violet vile and suddenly your skin would turn a shade of light lavender with a soft glow. Or perhaps from an emerald bottle you’d become seafoam colored with whisps of white glitter. I think the tiny drinks should be flavored too. Perhaps the purple vile would taste of anise, crushed rose and vanilla. Or the green vile of salt water, green apple and coconut milk.

Anyone else remember the episode of The Jetsons’ where Jane, the perfect housewife of the future, received a phone call from her friend first thing in the morning and Jane woke up looked completely disheveled? Before going to the “phone” (which was actually similar to a giant webcam,) Jane had to “put on her face”. She sat in a chair while a screen flashed different looks that Jane could try for the day. After trying out a few numerous make-up & hairdo combinations, Jane chose her usual look and answered the call – looking absolutely picture perfect and ready to dish the dirt with her friend.
All these years later, I still remember Jane Jetson’s hair & make-up machine. I mean, how cool would it be to shove your head in a capsule and reappear moments later with make-up and hair Hollywood perfect? You could go from punk rocker, to Hollywood glam, to pin-up, etc. all with a click of a button. I would love to own a contraption such as that, because I’m always experimenting with several different looks and styles. Who wouldn’t love that?

Does anyone remember the scene from Total Recall where a receptionist is painting her nails by touching a pen-like object to her nails and voila! Perfect nail color!

Hmm… I’d like a beauty product line that could truly adapt to the weather/temperature changes. I hate when my eyeliner more or less melts and my shadow creases even though I’ve used primer. So I’d like a line that could take even the most humid, rainy days and still look fresh. That said, the makeup would definitely have to be glittery and bright.

what a fun question! my first thought was of a product, perhaps a wand like device, that has in it all the makeup ‘faces’ of different eras. going to a party with an 80s theme? switch the dial to 80s, change a few knobs to fit your skintype and eyecolor, press the start! it gives you a face of makeup suited to your face and the era specified.
in less detail, i think there should be a universal red lipstick. just one tube, which adjusts to your lips’ color so you don’t end up with that horribly wrong shade of red. wouldn’t it be marvelous?

You know mascara wands for your hair? They colour your hair but make it crispy and clumpy, making it look like fried Barbie hair.
I want a magical cosmetic product that can colour you hair without the crisp of hairdye, and it comes out next wash.

Taking the hairstyling things a bit farther, I’d like some kind of hairdo-in-a-tube. Rub it into your scalp and you instantly have a completely different look! Could be long, short, straight, curly, or wavy, and any length you could think of! Comes in weatherproof varieties that can only be taken out with shampoo (all others can be removed with rinsing), and when applied to the eyebrows, it makes them match the hair!

I guess I’d have a few magic cosmetic products. I don’t know if this counts but since I have a terrible habit of drinking too much Diet Coke, a soda drink that makes your teeth healthier and whiter couldn’t go amiss.
In terms of makeup, I’d have to say a lipstick that actually makes your lips plumper and fuller as opposed to ‘giving the appearance of’ fuller lips.

I need a product that can deal with spots, be it a magic wand or just an amazing foundation that actually rids you of the spots instantly. Never a spotty teenager, instead I’m a stress induced spotty adult.
I would also love an instant nail re-growth cream/gel for those days where I give in and bite my nails down to the cuticles.

Following that logic, if I cant get Magic Makeup Stick, I also would like to have something that would give you the hairstyle you want for everyday use, because…when your hair is as frizzy as mine, and don’t have the time to do your hair, it kinda sucks…

Someone already mentioned tattoos, but for the last… 5 years? I have been waiting for technology to catch up with art.
I would LOVE for their to be nano ink injects you could get under your skin that had something like bluetooth. You would load up a program on your computer, select tattoo flash (or design your own) and colors and the program would send the information to the nano ink. Then, the tattoo would show up where you want in the colors and design you want. It could also function as eye makeup or lip color.
One day you could have a hello kitty design on your arm and the next it would be gone and you’d have henna designs on your hands.
For the record I love the self-cleaning brush idea. I love doing my makeup but HATE having to take the time to clean my brushes.

Remember that Barbie who’s hair color could be changed just by warm and cold water. I would love something like that. No more bleach or messy dye. Something like a special hair brush where you could choose your color and then just brush your hair to have it be purple, pink, blue any color you want. Even better if the special brush is under ten bucks and can fit in your purse. That way you can change your hair to suit your mood. I would love to buy that.

You know, I never really realized this until recently watching my old “Jem” DVDs, and I don’t know if you could really call it a “beauty product,” but I was watching and realized that Jerrica Benton had it MADE with her special Jemstar earrings. Think about it: you have the power to change your appearance at will by projecting a holographic image over yourself. Your haircolor, your eyecolor, whether you want to alter your nose or your boobs, and your makeup would be PERFECT. Even your SKIN could be perfect, all because you have a holographic image of you over yourself taking care of it all. Like me? I practically spend a small fortune in haircoloring alone because I never know if I want to be a blonde or a brunette. Something like THIS could just eliminate the hassle of haircoloring for me (and it’d save my poor hair from being fried every couple of months).
If this kind of technology could actually be replicated, do you know HOW many women would want their own pair of hologram-remote-transmitter earrings?! Sign me up!

We all face problems not only make up wise, even skin care wise. My desired product would be a wand that you can use to do everything! Getting rid of scars, acne, freckles, discolourations and even wrinkles! Flick another swtich and tapping it to wherever your heart desires, perfect eyeliner… Perfect eyeshadow, perfect everything that you can think of putting on your face!
Wouldn’t that be simple? Three steps. Think, flip, tap!

I would love to just have a little booth in my closet and whenever I’d step into it I could choose whatever style I wanted from a control panel. Blonde hair? Of course! No freckles? Easy as pie! Green eyes? Just a button away! Whatever style or look I wanted for that day would happen.
It would especially be neat if it was hooked up with my clothes and I could just look at the little control panel and see an image of what looked good with what. That would make getting dressed soooo much easier.

What I’ve been needing lately is something that can help me draw my eyeliner straight. And maybe making my eye shadow more fantastic. Just a swipe on your eyelid and BAM! instant and glamorous eyeliner/eyeshadow done in just a second. And maybe there are different sticks that have different combos of color or all stick into one. I’m sure some cosmetologists out there can find the right equation for finding THE ultimate eye makeup. I think I need that product now, I’m supposed to go to a wedding on Saturday…

Paintbrush eyeshadow, blush and bronzer. Like those nail polish pens and concealer pens with a brush. You paint on the stuff and it goes on wet, but dries in about 10 seconds as a super shiny nylon like layer which is super long lasting but uber flexible so 9ts as comfortable as hell to wear. It will also magically blend. It will, for the eyeshadow come in all colours; matt, fluro, glitter, luminescent and ireccent. There’ will also be all the incredible Lime Crime colours like Snow Queen, Shoe Addict and Lime Criminal!

I don’t know if it would be a beauty product per se… but I wish there was a way for you to get yourself genetically mutated to where you had the will to change what color hair, skin, and eyes you have.
You would somehow have to be able to switch the specific genes in one’s DNA to create the proteins and cells that cause color to be what it is. It would take a long time to get a new “look” if it were real, since the changes would only affect new protein and cells that were being made, not the old ones.
Still, I think it’d be pretty nifty if you could wake up one morning and decide that your coloring didn’t fit how you felt and could just change without having to dye hair/tan/put in colored contacts!

Oooo!
I definitely need to invent a tool that looks like an airbrush, but in fact is filled with nutrient-rich mineral makeup that when applied to your skin, actually made you skin healthier by wearing it. This would have multiple settings, with a digital screen where you would select what look you were going for today with your skin. More importantly, it would allow you to select different styles and contours with your face and would detect the shape/size of your face so as you waved the airbrush thingie around, it would automatically change and color those sections.
Want more prominent cheekbones and a narrower nose bridge? Select the more angular face option and voila! How about rounder, fuller cheeks with an emphasis on the apples to bring that innocent princess out?
It would also have options of going for your skintone. I mean, you could do a sunkissed glow as a final touch, or porcelain-like full coverage. You could do gold bronzer for a funky look, or simply select “finishing” and get a wonderful finishing cover to set the look you’ve created. As soon as this product became insanely popular with all females, the company would branch out with a tool that would also help change your eyeshape by contouring and shadows :) All automatic of course.
How fun would that be?!

Honestly, I wish there was something that would make you look thinner.. or slowly make your fat disappear. I could easily see millions of girls use it. Plus, it might get rid of the obese epidemic. I know a friend of mine who is obese and the only reason she said she’s not TRYING to loose weight because of the excess skin, etc. and she can’t afford to have it surgically removed.
So if there was a beauty product that:
A) Made you Slowly loose weight
B) Make you look thinner while loosing weight (to boost self esteem while going through the process)
C) Tighten your skin once the weight is lost.
it would be amazing.
It won’t replace:
A) Hard work, working out
B) Healthy Eating
It is just a tool to help you boost esteem while working out and working on loosing weight.

For example, you have blue eyes, but want to wear purple eye shadow, so you put on the magical eyeshadow, and PRESTO!, your eyes turn to a lovely colour that compliements the shadow, or in this case, they would turn brown.
Slightly confusing, but oh so envyable.

I have to go with two.
One is a magical wand that shaves away fat, while still being somehow safe. And to protect you from yourself, it starts beeping and shuts down when you are getting a little too carried away and start resembling a skeleton. It also can’t alter your bone structure, and works with the curves of the body, so you still maintain your unique body shape, only more improved! It also has a setting to add fat, in case you change your mind or have to play Santa Clause in your school’s Christmas pageant. It comes with a cream you rub on your arms, legs, butt, abs, etc. to magically tone.
The second has already been repeated a lot – something to get that flawless skin. It would come in a few varieties. One, the complete package, would even skin tone, get rid of blemishes, bumps, spots, moles, freckles, those blue veins that run from your mouth to chin (hey I’m really pale, okay?). My variety would do all of the above, but would keep my freckles – I just wouldn’t feel like me without them!

My idea is a Magic Mirror, plus a little technoboost!
How it works is this: you look into the Mirror and see your current reflection. You could have just woken up, be halfway through your work day, or wanting to change into an evening look – and that’s the beauty of it! As you look into the mirror and see what you see, you can have some time to “reflect” and naturally, the idea of what you’d ideally look like comes to mind. As you think and think, your ideas are shown in the mirror!
So here’s the fun part – rather than look at your perfect image and despair, there is a little round makeup robot attached to the mirror who makes your dreams into realities. When you have finally decided on your look, click the “I’M READY” button on the side of the mirror and the little robot will detach and makeup your face quickly and perfectly every time. The best part is, it’s portable!
(In the later releases of this product, there will probably be modifications for nails, toenails, etc.) ;)

They’ve got nail polish that looks like this. But it would be truly amazing to have a whole holographic beauty line.
Blush, eyeshadow, and especially lipstick that would change colors depending on what direction you were facing, and how much light was being absorbed.
It would be so awesome to wear that to a club and have a different look every time the lights flashed.
In a more realistic sence I would like a decent quick dry mascara. I have freaking long lashes already, but if I use mascara it makes black streaks on the inside of my glasses. If I curl them and use mascara, they touch the back of my eyelid right under my eyebrow and make black streaks there.

One of two products :
1) A magic nail polish remover that removes the yellow stains left by using heavily pigmented bright yellow nail polish without a basecoat. I’m still paying for that mistake 3 months later with having to let it grow out :(
2) A super duper moisturizer. That leaves your forehead/nose matte, cheeks looking dewy [from being at the perfect moisture level] which lasts an entire day. I’ve tried around 15 moisturizers and still not found one that lasted me through an entire day.
Either one of those would do the trick.
Or, a colour changing holographic nail polish. I adore the holo.

Most of the beauty products out now will do what I want them to (except a safe/healthy way to keep my hair ridiculous colors).
However, another part of me, the one that’s interested in sociology and how people interact, would love a product that could change features of ours that commonly effect the way people act towards us. An extreme example of this would be this product changing our skin color. Whether people admit it or not, it’s one of the biggest things that effects how others react to us. Or maybe this product could vastly change your body weight and you’d see how people react to you if you look like a model or weigh 300 lbs.
The catch is the product would only allow you to keep this change for 24 hours or so (kind of like Polyjuice from Harry Potter or something?). If you wanted to change something about yourself permanently, you still need to do the work ^_^ I’m all for the social experiments this would lead to.
Thanks for having such a beautiful blog, by the way!

And of course, eye shadow that magically changes color so as to go with your eye color. For example, my eyes are green and I want purple in my lids. VOILÁ!
Dang, July 7th is my birthday xDD

I would adore something that would change eye color on a whim! Just pick which color that suites your mood and voila! Your eyes would change that color in an instant and you could always change back if you want. The plus side is that it would also look really natural, unlike the pixelized look of some colored contacts. =]

Definitely a lipstick that doesn’t come off unless you want it to, and can apply whatever finish you’d like to a specific color instantly. :)
I’d also call for a hair bleach that doesn’t destroy your hair, no matter how many times you bleach it!

I would love a dual colored mascara. One that is really bright and extravagent. It would have a built in eye lash primer to make your lashes really stand out. The first half of my lashes would be blue and the tips would be pink. You could even have glitter in it as well. Or even a pink on the bottom and white glitterly tips!

I would love, like in the movie The Craft, to be able to change my hair color by just running my hands through my hair. No dye, no split ends, no melted hair (yeeeah, that happened to me in my teenage years when I would bleach, dye, bleach, dye…). Too bad magic doesn’t really work that way. lol

The other night I had a dream that I was at a beauty product convention and MAC was launching a new line of metallic pigments.
But we’re not talking standard gold, silver, copper pigments. These were like oxidized or chemical-treated patterned metals, with rainbows like oil slicks, almost holographic. I remember seeing metals like that in a sample packet my father received from a metals distributor. I woke up heartbroken that the pigments weren’t real.

Well, for me I’d want a foundation that covers any imperfections and makes your skin look perfect, while getting rid of scars and acne.
I’d also love hair colouring that could go over any hair colour and be the same colour every time. Then if you had dark hair you wouldn’t have to bleach your hair to get it to a light blonde or pink. It would also not damage your hair at all. ;D

I think the best beauty product would be a magical kind of face cream or foundation that would be able to make any woman feel instantly beautiful. Because so many women suffer with self-esteem and feeling they don’t look good enough, the product would make them look more beautiful in their own eyes than they ever thought they could be and adapt to their own personal taste – all in just one application of face cream. It would differ according to their own taste, so it might put black eyes and red lips on one person but only subtly enhance the natural beauty of somebody else – but it would always guarantee that the person who used it felt like a million dollars and bursting with confidence. (:

The beauty product that I would love to own is a foundation/all over body cream and sort of blemish elminator and fat buster in one. So you could apply it to your face and it would adapt to your very own skintone and give you flawless sparkeling complexion which would be a fantastic base. It could also be applied to any areas which you feel are troubling you, ie, arms, stomach, jawline, so it would smooth down the skin and make you look as skinny/perfect as you like. The more cream you apply, the more podge you get rid of and the more tone you become. You could also apply it to boobs, to make them look as big as you wanted. The result would be a huge boost of confidence and sex appeal. Kind of like plastic surgery and working out in a pot, but without the scarring, time, and huge amounts of money :)

I’m going to geek out on this one!
Ok, to be honest I have a thing for awesome eyebrows, not a fetish thing, I just like cool ones a lot. (Does that even make sense?) Now, by cool eyebrows I mean Joe Jonas eyebrows, Vulcan eyebrows, even unibrows! (Surprised I didn’t say perfectly shaped girly ones?) SO, if I could have any beauty product exist it would be some sort of eyebrow shaper so that I could have Vulcan eyebrows for the rest of my life. I know that there are similar products out there but none that actually take the end of your eyebrows and drag it up up up! Kind of like Photoshop or some other fun photo altering software, you know? Oh yes, why Vulcan eyebrows? To put it simply, I love Star Trek, it’s one of the few shows I remember watching with my Dad when I was little, I always looked forward to it! Now, whenever I have a bad day or just feel like I need a little cheering up, I put on Star Trek.
Kind of silly? Yes, I know but I guarantee you I’d be first in line to buy it!

Once upon a time it was for eyeshadow in Crayola colors but that’s becoming more and more real.
I would love to see custom foundation become easier and more available. I’d love for some kind of lotion/cream that evened out tan lines! It’s hard to apply tanning lotion to thin lines left by bra/tank top straps, and parts of my body just refuse to absorb the sunlight so I end up all weird and multi-hued lol (my shoulders tan so much faster than the rest of my arms x_x). So depending on the person, it would even out their skin tone to be lighter/darker and get rid of tan lines without needing precise applications.

I wish for 3 hairbrushes. You could buy them all 3 together, or just 1, or 2 of them.
I wish there was a hairbrush that could straight your hair while you brush it.
And that you could also decide. If you want your hair straight, select on your hairbrush for straight hair, or if you want it curly, select curly, wavy…
Also, if you cut your hair and you want it long again, that the 2nd hairbrush could make it longer while you brush your hair, and you can decide the lenght you want now.
Oh, and also if you want another hair color, that the 3rd brush could dye your hair in any color you want.
I LOVE hair, and I love to straight my hair, but it takes too long in the morning.
I used to have very short hair, but now I have 2 years, letting my hair grow up(though I still cut it so it haves shape)& I still haven’t get the lenght I want!! and the color, well it would be nice to be able to change your hair color depending on what you’re wearing, etc. so it would match, and the next day still have you real hair color. :)
Aww, it would be AMAZING. ^^

It would also be nifty to be able to walk through a chamber and when you reached the other side you would be fully dressed, primped, and ready to go and your choice of clothing would be determined by your own imagination or even mood.

But it wouldn’t just cover up all the stuff, but also make your own skin look better. So when you have used this stuff for a week or so. .you barely need it anymore because your skin looks perfect without it!

Do you remeber the Robert Munsch book Purple, Green and Yellow? It is about this little girl who loves to colour and keeps getting markers in amazing colour. Some are vibrant, some are smelly, and some are super duper uber permanent. She ends up colouring on herself with the never ever wash away markers and makes her self invisible in the process of trying to get the markers off and then has to colour herself with a special marker thats “people coloured” and colours herself back to existence.
I would love that marker, but in makeup form. They would come in different skin tones and looks. Like fair perfect smoky eye. You colour all over your face and you are perfect. Great for vacation, on the go, anything all the time

For funnsies, there could be an alternative version of this cream that would create a make-up look depending on what mood you were in, kind of like a mood ring. For me, I think it would be a shampoo which made your hair instantly curly or straight (obviously there would be two different formulations). The more you put on, the curlier/ straighter your hair would be. It would last until the next wash, and there would be no need for damaging straightening or curling irons and it would save time in the mornings. You could just wash and go! I stopped straightening my hair for a combination of the above reasons so this would be a godsend as I could actually go out with beautiful hair as opposed to bleh, boring hair.
P.S. Doe – I recently made my first LimeCrime purchase! I bought the brush set and Mirror Mirror eyeshadow and I am soooooo excited for them to arrive, you have no idea! It was difficult to choose from all the shades but I eventually chose silver as a nice all-encompassing colour, and one that I could also wear for my Summer Ball which is coming up (my dress is navy with silver sequins). Here’s hoping I will be making many more purchases from your line in the near future! :D

I wish there was a type of eyeshadow that would match or go well with the women’s skin tone who is wearing it. The eye shadow would go on clear then it would darken in the crease, lighten in the brow bone area and then make the perfect lid color. There would be three different types of these magical eye shadows. Simple natural looks, smoldering smokey eyes ( which would be instead of blacks or grays be more navy, plum or emerald colored) and lastly there would be one that gives you eyeshadow so bright it’s obscene. Hmmmm, this is definitely a tough one.
Here’s an idea: a little machine that you can use so all your nails are the exact shape you want them to be (you COULD use fake nails, but I don’t really like those). I think nail shape is the most important thing about your hands; even if you have gorgeous nail polish, it’ll look bad if your nails aren’t shaped right.
Another idea (I don’t know if I’m allowed to say two, so sorry!) is eyeshadow that stays on even when you rub at your eyes. I’m really bad about keeping my hands away from my eyes, and I always accidentally smear all my makeup!

Some magic sparkles jumping from my vanity. Brushes rushing around erasing all imperfections, making the straightest line and the curliest lashes. The comb would part my hair so it fell like a flowing waterfall. The brush would change my hair strand by strand to any color I could imagine and brush star dust into it as well. All the brushes would be able to create any color in the galaxy. And when I was tired and ready for sleep the enchanted face cloth would gentally rinse away the magical glamor, leaving my skin ever more radiant than before.

A lipstick that instantly makes you feel undeniably sexy. I could do my makeup exactly the same way two days in a row, and feel blah one day and utterly hot the next. So I think when I look in the mirror it can sometimes be more about how I’m feeling about me that day!
That, and foil-bright, mirror-shine mascara, for real eyelashes that look like red (or green, or silver…) foil ones. Hehe.

I think I’d like a temporary lightening dye. I love dying my hair, but it always bums me out to have to bleach it to achieve uber vibrant colors. Not to mention I get bored of my hair color really quickly which means a lot of flip flopping between colors like black and fire hydrant red. A temporary lightening dye would be so, so, so lovely.

If I could wish a beauty product into existence . . . it would have to be a lovely little set of sprays that when you spray them on your face, instantly you would have make up applied . . . but you never know what it is going to look like!
For example, one spray bottle would be for a natural/neutral look, but it would still mix it up a bit with different contours, blushes, bronzers, eye make up, mascara, and so on. It self adjusts to you complexion and face shape!
There is not just one spray, there are lots! Here is a few ideas!
Wild and crazy
Retro (40/50s)
Goth/steam punk
Or you could get the company to make one especially for you!
Among others . . . you can get all or just one! Great for people who are lazy, in a hurry, don’t know how to put on make up, or anyone!

What the world needs is more high-quality glow-in-the-dark. Not that crappy stuff you get at the dollar store, but but high-grade glow-in-the-dark, or phosphorescent, even. Especially for people like me, who work night shifts/spend most of their time in darker environments.
And then add glitter to EVERYTHING. Hair dye with glitter in it, *and* that glows-in-the-dark. It would be awesome.

On the absolutely impossible side of things would be a brush that was exactly what you wanted it to be when you wanted it so there wouldn’t be all the fumbling for the right brush. It would also magically clean itself when you wanted. Slightly more realistic would be something like a lotion that would be lotion, concealer (for my EPIC dark circles), foundation, and finishing powder all in one. Put it on and your complexion is nice and flawless and ready for fun. I’d also like just about all of the things other repliers have said. :3
ALSO! I just thought of this! Glittery, glossy lip stuffs that stays on through a meal!

I want a red lipstick that instantly corrects to skin tone. I’m 50% scotch/irish, 25% other european ancestry, and 25% Cherokee. Which leads every red I try to be not quite correct, because I’m fair-skinned, but have a weird undertone, not a blue or pink one like a fair majority fair-skinned people.
Also, I want a light refreshing body and face spray, citrus or mint or similarly scented, for summer use that would instantly, or almost clear up body and facial acne issues. I don’t mind having to work my layers of makeup and clothing to hide my horrid skin during the summer, I’m used to it by now. However, hot, humid southern summers make your makeup melt off your face, and you sweat so much it’s hard to even get the makeup on there in the first place! If I could just make my acne issues vanish for the summer even, so I wouldn’t have to argue with makeup and horrid weather, I’d be grateful.

I never seem to be able to get up to 8 on a regular basis so there should be a condensed-water-pill that would give you the effects of 8 glasses in a slow-release capsule. Not very sparkly or exciting I know but it would probably also solve several other major world problems in the process!

A hairbrush that somehow magically transformed your hair into whatever length you wanted, and it was completely up to you to choose the texture, color and length if you wanted. It’s always frustrating to want to do a certain hairstyle, only to realize that I would have to have half the hair I do to pull it off successfully, or that it might look better in a different haircolor entirely. There are so many products out there and there’s always steps and it’s really difficult to find out what works the best for you. You end up spending so much money on products that you may not even finish. There should just be 1 product that guarantees perfect skin for everyone! It would even work for acne prone skin. I would like a lipstick with three click wheels in the tube – R,G and B. That way I could customize the shade I wanted by setting the colors just like I do in Photoshop – R:139 G:26 B:26, click click click, and then I apply my new shade.
I want this because I am always searching for just the right crimson red – not too dark, not too bright, but a rich deep movie star red. Too often I am disappointed at the brightness of a red lipstick that is too orange, or a darker lipstick that has too much blue in it.
I also wish there was a product that could be applied with a fine brush that would instantly melt eyebrow hair away – just crisp it up painlessly wherever I stroked the brush. It would have to come in a little crystal bottle and be a bright, fizzy pink that smelled of strawberries.

A line of eyebrow shapers for those times in between waxings.
They wouldn’t just be stencils, they would have a light wax around the edges to remove stray hairs, while simultaneously applying colored powder to your brow that you could blend in afterward. There would be a line of blonde, brown, taupe for the in-betweens, and a variety of reds (orange, auburn and burgundy). The tweezing and shaping every single morning is such a hassle, and just applying a shaper every morning and peeling it off would be so much easier.

I would have to say that an instant total make over kit would be the ultimate, ideal beauty product. Kinda like how “Cher” in Clueless picked out her outfits. You have your little pic on the computer, you choose everything from hairstyle to, make-up, and nail polish, to outfit & accessories. Then, push a button and you’re perfect. It would save tons of time, and whether your preference is printed lids, pouts, and polish’s, or luscious glitter lashes, you will have everything you need at your pretty little finger tips.

Say, like me, you hate your little button nose, you want a perfectly straight, poreless looking nose. Voila! Put the mask on, which has the same texture as real skin, and you instantly have the appearance you dream of.
You can change proportions of facial features, skin tone, eye borw shaping, piercings, and how your make up is.

Or, if that technically doesn’t count as a ‘beauty product’ then magical eyeshadow that you can set to whatever color you want, just by saying so.

How fun!!! (I just tried to comment, but we’re having nasty thunderstorms that are making my internet go in and out. So my apologies if I comment twice!)
I think in my dream product would be thoroughly practical, but oh-so helpful! A moisturizer that I could use all over my face (which is anywhere from dry to oily!). A perfect moisturizer would: not cause my t-zone to break out, smooth and reduce the wrinkles on my forehead (eek!!!), manage the puffiness under my eyes, and not get oily/shiny over the course of the day. Of course, this would also include a hefty spf (I live in a very sunny part of the country) and smell nice, but not be overwhelming! Alas, I have yet to find such a product, and use several different ones for the various areas of my face. *sigh*

A facial cooling mist that you could spray all over in the heat, as much as you wanted, and it wouldn’t shift your make up at all!
And nail polish that is good for your nails.

I have dark patches of skin on my face and body from past eczema. When I wear foundation, it blends, but doesn’t help lighten the areas to match the rest of my skin. I’d like a foundation that can even out skin tone, not just cover up.

Hi there :)
I would definitely buy a candy (no pills please, candy tastes better) that makes your hair to change color instantly! Like yellow (lemon taste)candy for blond hair color, white (lime taste) for platinum, red (yummy cherry )for vivid red and strawberry taste for lighter red. They would come in all possible shades and tastes (like for example brown with blonde highlights) and you wouldn’t need to recolour your hair (no roots!). It would not damage your hair and you could change your hair color instantly and everywhere! :)
Wouldn’t that be great?

WOW. everyone is so creative! because most of my ideas have already been expressed so I’m presenting this in Limerick form…
If my dreams could come true,
The beauty product I’d most desire,
Would have to feature in blue,
lest the company face my ire.
Whoever made it would never lie,
Nothing nasty lurking in sight,
and if it smelt like blueberry pie,
that would be an absolute delight!
Can you fulfill my beauty wish?
It would be an innovation and very rare,
with glitter like the scales of a fish,
A color-changing dye for my boring hair!

My feet get really sore easily and I get awful calluses, so the product I’d like to invent is a pair of flip flops that’s like a mini portable spa.
They’d gently massage your feet top and bottom, (straps take care of the top, soles take care of the bottoms) with a heat option in the soles as well, controlled by a tiny remote. That same remote would have a separate, labeled button to open a valve in the side of the shoes that comes out and squirts out shea butter and cleans itself (no clogs!)
The straps and soles take care of massaging that for you, too. Any excess is automatically reabsorbed in the shea butter valve.
Also, you’d never have to worry about them shorting out or batteries or anything. They’d come with a wireless charger that holds a charge for a period of 24 hours.

I would like a “Bruise-Away-cream” I always run into things (like the oven door when it’s open, and now my shin is a nice greenish-blue with some red in it, quite artistic if you think about it)

Perhaps a lipstick/mascara/eyeliner/eyeshadow/face paint set that you could change the colors of with your MIND. But the kicker? They went on in patterns. Put it on and pick a color! They’d have a color wheel on the case that you poked the color you wanted with a stylus. Want houndstooth lips? BAM! Striped (yay!!) eyeliner? Here you go honey! Blush that started out a dot and went out into bigger circles… in rainbow? Boy have we got the thing for you! Polka dot eyeshadow? No problem! They’d have to make a set that had glitter inlaid too. Oh the madness!
Now I want some glitter makeup, darn it Doe! Must you get my imagination working?

Just spray some product in your face and you’ll have bright colors popping in eyes! Your friend has a bit of a frown? ZUPT! She’ll look like Audrey Hepburn and of course… lose her frown.
And it would work on other things too! Grey, ugly buildings would turn into beautiful neoclassical structures. Old greenish tattoos would be instantly renewed!

And, as you mentioned – I’d love a wand to get rid of pimples and blackheads. Clear, healthy skin is everything in terms of beauty. Applying makeup is much easier when the skin it’s applied to is clear, as well. Unfortunately, flawless skin is hard to get it, and sometimes hard to fake.

The industry needs to make a few things. Permanent eyeliner is one of them. I wear contacts and my eyeliner always gets smudgy and all over my lenses halfway through the night. I know they they can tattoo on certain makeup products, but the inner rim of your bottom eyelid doesn’t seem too needle friendly. I would also like makeup that smells and tastes as good as it looks, all sweet and sugary. My boyfriend refuses to kiss my directly after I apply make-up becuase he says it tastes bad and smells off (I use foundation that’s “clean” and smells a bit like rubbing alcohol) , which is sad because I’ve usually just spent two hours getting myself all pretty for him!

I would love to have a foundation that can go on without primer, and will work perfectly with my pale olive skin. I’ve found that foundations for girls with ivory skin make me look ghostly and the next shade down from there makes me look too orange. I have yet to find a foundation with that right tint to make it look natural without having to put on a powder on top.
BUT, if that doesn’t suit this answer, I’d love eyeliner that changed with your outfit, that way one application will last you from morning to night without having to take off and re-apply all the time.

All the things I can think of have actually already been made.. the cosmetic industry has definitely been working hard on making things that years ago people would have through were impossible dreams.
How about.. something you put in your bath water(or a shower head attachment?) that flows sunless tanner type stuff with your water, leaving you with a subtle hint of summery sunny color, and also locks in the moisture of the water. And of course has SPF to protect. That means sunless tanner, moisturizer and sun screen all in one, without even having to really apply it. Just take a shower! Also available with a bit of bronzer..lol

My ideal product would come in the shape of a sticker book. There would be pages for shades of skin and hair. The stickers themselves would be wired intricately with technology that, when a sticker came in contact with the body, would make the sticker mold into your skin, and then project the color you desire all over your body. It would be like a body-surface hologram, and the skin would be perfect and creamy, while the hair would be vibrant and healthy. The sticker book would have a range of exotic colors, in addition to regular ones.
Oh, and the stickers would never lose their stickiness!

With a mystical and mysterious Baby Bat applicator, the flawless pallor and put-together makeup so many young Goths dream of could be achieved instantly, not through loads of trial and error!

A rainbow hair dye set! Apply the special hair dye cream, which itself bleaches the hair perfectly white. Then, use the special light wand, with the myriad of wonderful attachments, each a different color. Wave the wand, let’s say with the BRIGHT PINK attachment, and viola! Where the light shines, the hair dye turns PINK! Want to rock Fire Engine red the next day? Add the red attachment and BOOM! Sexy red head. It’d have ANY color you could imagine as an attachment, so changing your hair color would be a daily, if not more then once daily, event! Want a rainbow?! Just shine on part of your hair, change attachments and shine on another! The color combinations are endless. And the whole thing would be totally affordable, and the attachments only a few dollars each, so owning any number of them wouldn’t be hard on the wallet.
Not to mention; it’d be absolutely non-damaging.

I mean I have really pale legs, but beacause my arms are exposed more often (and I forget to put sunsreen on sometimes) my arms are darker then the rest of my body. I’d also like some sort of machine/robot that would do my hair and makeup while I slept, so I could sleep in just a little longer. It would be extremely gentle, so as to not wake me up, and I could wake up and throw on my clothes and be out the door, in less than five minutes.

I wish there was a product that was like a rub-on transfer of full make-up for those mornings where you’re a bit hungover and running late for work. Basically, this thing looks like a sheet of paper, and you place it in the palms of your hands, then bring both palms with paper to your face. Rub. Flash, boom, pow, full-on, gorgeous, super-star make-up. I’d call it, simply, “Face”.
Who cares if you still smell a bit like booze? YOU LOOK HOT.

I’ve been dreaming of this product for a while actually. It’s a nailpolish that will only stick to your nails, and not your skin. I always mess up my nailpolish and end up having to clean the edges with nail polish remover, so it would be so easy if the polish would just stick to your nail. No more cleanup! And of course, the polish wouldn’t chip either.

I would like a product that is easily applied (no mess) that can change your hair color to a bright variety of shades that last and do not fade as severely as current coloring products do. It would be easy to touch up the roots of your hair, and easy to simply apply another color to your hair when you got tired of the one you had. No damage, no mess, no ugly faded colors.
I would be in heaven. Haha.

It’d be a foundation in a spray can. It would morph to every skin tone. And when you put it on, you could morph your face to erase every blemish and fix every imperfection. Dark circles? Gone. Pimples? Gone. Huge pores? invisible. No brushes, no concealer, nothing. Just a simple touch of the hand and you look exactly the way you want to.

I think I saw it in a movie once, but a “pen” that you can use to tap on the fingernails that changes the color immediately and cleanly. No more messy application, and no more having to go through and remove, wait, and reapply every time you want to change colors. Tap the same color multiple times on the nail to darken.
Either that or the perfect foundation. Like… You put it on and it will absolutely match your skin tone perfectly. I’m very pale, and it’s hard to find something that matches for me without making it too white, or darkening too much.

Healthy glow in a bottle…a drink that ultra-hydrates to get rid of all your blemishes, fade scars and dark circles and plump up wrinkles. It can’t be impossible…they did this to me in the hospital (but alas, temporary). With a hydrating IV drip and steroids (not the athlete kind), in 24 hours my skin was transformed. The plumped skin took away pores, wrinkles and blemishes so fast I was amazed. My skin looked so good it was hard to believe I was sick! Ever since then, I’ve wondered if they’ll ever make something you can drink or absorb through the skin to give the same results as being completely, thoroughly hydrated. *Note: I looked so good I didn’t mind tinkling every 20 minutes, but even drinking lots of water never brought my skin back to that level.

First-time poster, long-time lurker. You might be seeing my comments pop up a lot more often from now on!
So… um. Okay.
The one beauty product I wished existed is one (a cream, a lotion, it doesn’t matter) that actually makes you feel beautiful and happy with yourself–before the makeup.
So much of the time, putting on makeup is about looking in the mirror and feeling you look like a troll–that you need to hide all those flaws that you see and which slathering on layers of concealer and foundation is designed to hide.
But some days, you feel confident and happy enough just to dab on some mascara, some gloss, a whole lotta color and go out feeling fantastic without feeling self-conscious at all. I think everyone is the most beautiful when they feel that confident with themselves. I want more days like that.
I figure that’d be the best kind of beauty product of all. :D

When I was young, my sister and I had this makeup doll that when using this brush and cold water, the most brilliant mixture of bright colours would appear on her eyes, cheek, and lips (complete with purple star below the eye). When I was finally able to actually start using and playing with real makeup, I was saddened to learn that a warm brush on my eyes would not do the same. While some of the fun is in mixing and blending colours and taking the time to create a look, sometimes I just wish I could add warm water to a brush and the same bright colours (complete with purple star) would appear on my face.

A lipliner and lipstick that completely neutralizes the colour of your lips (therefore applying exactly the color it is in the tube)and it evens out the lip line to be perfect, blending the lip colour and skin colour to make it look as if that is how your mouth is shaped naturally with the colour lasting all day without bleeding or smudging. Oooh, all of these answers are great.
I wish there was a makeup called Liquid Photoshop and it would be for the complexion. In using it, all of your flaws would be instantly removed. Dark circles, very large pores, discolorations, texture issues, all a thing of the past. I WISH!!

A modern three-dimensional Photoshop-like program literally at my fingertips, so I can mend any blemish and dent with a touch of my pinky finger, or devise a natural rosy blush when the time strikes.
P.s.
Why are so many women asking for weight-loss products!? I am naturally thin, and no matter how much I eat I can’t seem to change that. It’s no better being skinny than curvy; why can’t some women realize they’re lucky to be shaped like a real woman!!

A divine perfume that only attracts tall, charming, intelligent and fun men. I can dream… Ahh. Don’t we all wish. :)

A magical after-work mist that, with a couple sprays, rids your body and hair of any nasty, sticky, smelly, sweaty results of working a long day and gets you clean, smelling nice, and ready to go out straight after work.

False eyelash glue that smells delicious! (the kind I get tends to smelll nasty :( ). Hm. How does one puncutate a parenthetical expression when using smilies??? I’m never quite sure…. Anyway, not only would it smell good, it would be available colorful, glittery glow-in-the dark, or all three!
PS….I realize I’m late to the comment party, but I only get online about once a week.

I have had no internet for 5 weeks, but back now :P Hahaha. Right in time I see :)
I really wish there would be some sort of mascara/fluid or sprat with which you could instantly change your hair color jsut by thinking about it. Like the woman from Harry Potter with the pink hair and then grey hair etc!!! That would be soooo awesome! (And of course it’s better than dying it and bleaching and all that!). I would choose a candycane pink for my hair with little silver sparkles in it!

A “Medusa” hair shampoo! I have really long hair but hate (and suck at) styling it. The Greek myth about the gorgon Medusa always intrigued me because she might turn people to stone, but I bet she could order her snakes to form whatever style she pleased! One wash and your hair will shape itself anyway you like! (No tangles, either!)

A Mascara that lengthens your lashes so they look fake and has various brushes so they can be styled to look full, or spikey etc.

I wish there was makeup that is as reflective as a mirror. Perhaps eyeliner or lipstick.

I’d have to say…Makeup for us lazy people, or for those who run late a lot!
Get a picture from a magazine or website, do some type of transferring action (Still working on that part XD ) and PRESTO! You have professional makeup, done in seconds!
Perfect for when you’re running late for school, a date, party, hanging out, runway makeup artists who don’t have too much time, anything!

A box, sculpted perfectly to each person’s unique face, where, once a person puts their face inside it…they think of exactly how they want their makeup to look, and voila! – the box takes the thought and creates the look you had planned out in your mind.
If you’ve seen The Fifth Element, there is a scene where Milla Jovovich’s character plays with something similar.
I would love it!!! Too many times my makeup turns out subpar to the gorgeous image in my mind.

Something that would let you change your hair to whatever you wanted… pixie cut one day to long puffy curls the next?

I’ve dropped my eyeshadow on the floor and broken it sooooo many times. I would like a brush with eyeshadow already in it. That way, you won’t waste a whole container of eyeshadow on your floor.

A False Eye lash applicator because I suck at putting falsies on….My most recent attempt was friday…and I’ve only just got all the glue out of my lashes…..my left eyelashes all glued in to one big clump :( I was SO scared they were going to all break off together…

Hmm….i have two :P
♥. The first would have to be without a doubt, eyeshadow which you put on you’re eyes and then you think of what you want it to look like. So if you wanted a Zebra print eyeshadow look all you would have to do is close you’re eyes, think of the look in you’re head and then open you’re eyes and it is magically there! And you can change it as many times as you want until you take off the eyeshadow!
♥The second, i think, is a totally amazing idea. A spray, which smells delicious, feels fantastic on you’re skin when it is sprayed which rids you’re face of dirt, oil, blemishes and any make-up which is still there. Basically one spray, and you have beautiful, flawless skin!
^^ Amazing, ne?

Well, since they now have dial-a-tan and dial-a shade for foundation, I think they should have dial-a-shade for all our makeup. How about dial-a-shade of browns, greens, blues for eyeshadow; dial-a-shade for lipsticks (pale to dark – pink to red, in different combinations and tints); nail polish – same thing?

I think it would be great if you could take your favorite or tonight’s date outfit into your fave store, get it scanned and have a printout or instant mini makeup pallet made up of the perfect makeup and nailpolish to match your outfit. You could just walk out with your little mini makeup bag to match your outfit that you could use everytime you wore it!

My perfect makeup would all be dial-a-shade. If there is dial-a-foundation and dial-a-tan, why isn’t there dial-a-shade of lipstick, eyeshadow, nailpolish and hair color? It would sure save on room in the makeup bag and purse.
