I just randomly stumbled across this video on YouTube. It’s a girl opening a Lime Crime package and seeing my eyeshadows for the first time.
I know there are lots more ‘professional’ vids out there with better lighting, better script. But this one meant the world to me. It shows the pure excitement – glee? – a person experiences when coming in contact with my work. I never thought I’d get a chance to see a customer’s reaction, and definitely not so up close and personal. I’m overcome with emotion…

I was so excited when I got mine that I opened it at my friends house. I was the 15 order according to the slip. There was SOOOO much yummy GLEE-FULL goodness in those little bottles that when I gently twisted or the cap the colors were full of GLEE that they tried to escape to cover everything with their bright happy love.
Did I forget to tell you that this friend is OCD neat? Doh!
Sneaky, playful sprite like makeup. I think Doe Deere had a creative meeting with Loki (the Norse god of mischeif) before this line was birthed! Hehe.

:D I remember so well the day I got mine.
I was so excited! I was waiting for it every damn day!
Anyhow I know I had to go shopping, but after the package arrived, I didn’t want to go because I wanted to try all the possible combinations with my new make up!
And the second time,… XD It was the same. I just love the colors you make and I know that one day I’ll own them all. :P

I was just as excited as she was when she was opening it! I was squealing as I was watching it and going to check the colors she bought on the website.
Somehow, and I have no clue how, I forgot to make my order. Two minutes into this video I couldn’t handle waiting anymore and immediately went to buy it. I remember it’s because I couldn’t decide on the foundation primer color, I didn’t know if I should get matte or twinkle twinkle, so I got matte and will get twinkle twinkle next time!
I can’t wait until I get it! Yay! Kate, thanks for reminding me how happy I’m going to be once I get it!

^^ I agree with Kate full heartedly. I was so excited when I got my order in (matte primer, pixie dust and nymph). A bit of nymph spilt on to my counter top and when I blew it off sparkles floated around in the air for a very long time *glee*
I cant wait to order more. Mainly as… its all so pretty

Eee! I ordered a whole bunch of eyeshadows about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I’m getting so excited and so nervous for the order to finally come in! I’m in Canada, so I guess thats why there is a wait, but still! I want it now!

Aww, Kate’s so sweet, and I know just how she feels. When I opened up my little jar of Vixen for the first time, my jaw hit the floor and I flew through the roof all at the same time.
Not only was it EXQUISITELY bright, it matches the color of my hair PERFECTLY! Now everywhere I go, people tell me what a charming little violet I am :3

I can’t wait. I am waiting for Christmas money but then hopefully I will be able to get my own little package of glee. I know how I am with packages, and should it be a Lime Crime package…I might just stop whatever I’m doing to rush home and open it. This was a great reaction. I was grinning the whole time.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but the best thing about this video is easily how cute she looks when her lil tongue is poking out when she cuts the parcel open!!

Yay! OmgYAY!
My poor boyfriend who has had to listen to me gushing about how excited I’ll be when I get my makeup! He came in the door this evening with something behind his back and a big grin on his face – The magic dust had finally arrived! He even stood there, bemused, while I ripped open the package and lines all my new eyeshadows up, squealing, and let me rant on about them for a few minutes. I’m so happy! So excited to use them! My utter glee is infectious, he was helping me go through old boxes and craft containers to find something better to store all my makeup in (they’re sorted in a couple baskets right now) Heehehee!
I don’t know if this is the best place to ask, but I’m wondering – how do you store and organize all your makeup?
