Lime Crime Uni-Shipper is here!

You know how we have a uni-carton? Well, now we have a uni-shipper as well!
When I started this line, I wanted to bring a vision to life. A makeup line that’s not just bright, but quality and FUN – something that’s been missing in cosmetics for a long time. This vision took me on a glittering journey of pudgy purple tubes, blue lipsticks and sparkly unicorns. One thing I was never happy about was our ‘opening experience’. The box Lime Crime goodies came in was ok, but it wasn’t anything special – and here at Lime Crime we don’t believe in treating our customers anything but! The way I see it, if it’s going to be something you guys eagerly await and bug your mail man every day about, it better be damn special!
And so I designed something that I myself would love to receive in the mail – something that squeals “GLEE!!!” before you even open the box! All orders placed on limecrimemakeup.com are shipped in these from now on!
You bet I design on lime paper! ;)

hurray for new shipment boxes, look is sooo important in fashion/makeup. Goodbye old boring white shipment boxe ^_^
one thing though, i think there should be a smaller size, because when you order like.. one lipstick, or 2 eyeshadow, it’s kinda overwhelming, and not very eco-friendly…. but that is just my 2 cents
overall, it’s a nice step forward for Lime Crime :)

I would definitely reuse the box to store other things, but I agree with you. If you’re just buying one tube of lipstick the huge box seems a bit excessive.

Agreed, but that’s the beauty of Doe’s site, we get to let her know what we’d like to see from her product and she tries to make it reality.
I would definitely prefer a smaller box though, my mailer has to give the larger box to my apartment manager and I’m afraid something that cute would get taken! Not really a concern, just being over dramatic!

Yea, you’re right. Then the one lipstick or the one eyeshadow would be bumping around in the big box on its way over. But you can definitely use it to store cute goodies! Small boxes would be really cute too.

Since there aren’t smaller ones, You could always recycle the box :) Thats eco-friendly(:
But When I get mine I’m cutting out the unicorn and hanging i on my wall :)

We instructed our shipping center to use smaller stickers for that very reason. :) It would be a shame to cover up the ‘corn!

Getting mail with fantastic stuff inside is always fun, but with this box it’s even more so! Love the design, love the teal/blue. Maybe a pink inside?

It’s really great that you finally addressed the bow issue. Before, the orders came in pretty ordinary white boxes. Now I can recieve my Lime Crime makeup in totally unique packages. My mail lady will be so jealous!

Awesome! I remember some people making such a big deal about your old plain white shippers (even though many great places use the same! It’s what’s inside that counts!) but the news ones are so cute and unique! Definitely would use it on my makeup table :> I love the way you’re always working to improve the Lime Crime brand. It makes me feel proud as a customer and CF team member to see LC get more amazing every day!

LOVE The new shipper! It’s so darn cute! I love using cute boxes I get as holders for others things and that would definitely be on top of my “Want cute box” list!
Also: Your hair is just gorgeous this way! How did you manage it?

That’s soooo great! The little things really are what count. I’m looking into custom printed cards and wrappings for Goldmine Trash myself. I really want our customers to be wowed by EVERYTHING when they shop with us.

Aaw :) this is sooo adorable!
I’ve gotten really hyper when I’ve received LimeCrime makeup in the past, and I can’t believe how Gleeful I would get if this showed up in the mail ^^
One thing I would love to get in the uni-shipper would be a small mirror with a unicorn on ^^ haha :D
I love how you think about these things and actually put EVERY customer in the centre, and not just giving VIP-people the good stuff. You are a revolutionary entrepeneur, and it will pay off :)

I got my order today in a uni-shipper! I thought I had placed my order too early to get one when I read this post, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the pretty blue box. I bought only two lipsticks and I don’t think the box is too big. The lippies were nicely wrapped so they probably didn’t move around too much during the travel. Thanks Doe for the great customer service!

I think the packaging is adorable, i dont think its too big i would love to get that box bc i could also reuse it to hold the make up and carry in my make up kit, i think it brings alot of attention to the products and it gets people asking questions, its a great way for your customers to advertise you and bring you new customers!! an idea to maybe add inside the box? stickers of the unicorn! maybe? haha can’t wait to place my order!!!

Also, I remember a while back hearing some blogger “Grey” or “Gothique” criticize Doe on the lack of creativity in the shipper itself before when it was just plain white. I immediately thought that was completely unfair but I LOVE seeing the new Uni-Shipper! It’s like a kick in the pants to that meanie!

When I opened up my mailbox yesterday and saw the bright turquoise package waiting for me, I started laughing and squealing like a deranged person in the middle of the street… No one was around thankfully! I think it’s perfect, and it really fills you with glee and makes your fingers itch to open it and see what’s inside!
Doe your idea was amazing, but well, when are your ideas not? The products are a joy to use, and now we have more reasons to wait for the mail-man everyday! Oh, and the starry paper is another nice touch, loved it!
