Lime Crime is in search of an Intern Extraordinaire to join our fabulous team! Are you interested in learning online marketing while being a part of a cutting-edge, new makeup company?
We are looking for someone who is:
- Web and makeup-savvy
- Courteous, with excellent people and networking skills
- Available 2-3 hours daily
- Experienced with FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, Flickr
- Familiarity with the company a +.
This is a 3-month unpaid internship with potential hire. Location irrelevant, but must be willing to do a phone interview. Academic credit and references to further employers available.

Damn, I know little about makeup. Other than that I’d be willing to apply.

Ah I wish I was better with these things, I know a good bit about web (though not programming) and a decent amount about makeup but I dunno…don’t think I’d be cut out for this though “location irrelevant” is my ideal sort of job haha. Too bad. I love this site!

I know tons about make-up but I’m lacking in the website/marketing area. I go to school and I’m exploring areas such as graphic design. I wish I were just a couple years further along in my education; I feel like I would have been perfect for this!

I feel the same way! I’ve been going to college to get my AA in Art Digital Media and I’m taking a web design class this upcoming semester! So naturally, I’m pretty computer literate but I’ve still got so much more I could learn! And I still don’t think I’m qualified enough to do everything the job requires. Doe, could you please post more about the job description? What would be required of the intern? :)
i’ve had to be a full time mother for the past year, and i spend quite a bit of time on the net since i’m always home. i could really do something like this, i just don’t know anything about a+ and such :( too bad, this opportunity sounds like loads of fun..
I’m totally applying for this. I’m only a sophomore in college but I know what a+ does, have TONS of social network experience, and live for makeup. Expect a resume tomorrow! :)

Whenever I read this, I assumed that she was saying that experience with her company was a plus, but that she wrote is as a +, just to be cute and add her own little flair. But after googling it, I realize I’m probably wrong. ha.

Oh that sounds fantastic! I’m training to become a makeup artist now so I have all the makeup skills and interest in web down, I’m just not sure I have the web experience!

I would definitely apply for this but I have an internship lined up for next semester and I think my plate is totally full. I will be checking back in the future to see if you are needing interns again!!
Aww I really need to learn computers better. I’ll have to do that 1st when I start community college (BOOOORING!!! I’d rather be trowing clay and painting) I guess I’ll be signing up for some at my current school when I get over this wreched flu.

I know a little javascript/php/mysql and am an expert on makeup! I’m good at networking and am familiar with all of the top social networking sites. I hope my age doesn’t matter though (im 16) because I think I’d be perfect for this. I’m available most of the time. I’ve been familiar with the company for around 2-3 years now. I love to network and chat with people and I know my manners.

I’ve followed LimeCrime for years! Since Freshman year in high school, I’ve oogled Xenia’s old makeup tutorials from before this blog existed, and her looks definitely helped shape my ever growing love of makeup!
