I’d love to include a physical tutorial eventually, but for now we have a digital tutorial on the site. :)

I like this idea also. A monthly “get the look” sent out for those of us who might not make it over to the LC makeup site every month.

I think its a great idea, I’ve used it, but I generally know what I want so I skip over that feature. I think its a great way to show people who might not be so sure about ordering your products how they can implement them without looking “clownish” as lots of people fear!
I really like it! I think it’s a really smart idea :D
The shop by look feature is brilliant! It definitely sets you apart from other makeup sales websites, and it’s extremely helpful for folks who might really want some bright makeup but be unsure how to wear it.

I LOVE the ‘get the look’ feature, it makes shopping more interesting, plus it gives the shopper more ideas in what to do with such unconventional colors.
I would suggest doing more for brown eyes though =)
I love it! One of the reasons I was hesitant about buying the makeup at first was that I had no ideas for how to wear it. I think this will definitely increase sales :)
I find it funny that I came to the blogazine from the store website specifically to comment on the new shop by look, and that’s what you’re asking! I really love it, actually, I think it’s very clever–I do hope you’ll be making the shop by look option available for the other looks you have on the site?
By the way, will the pictures from the old (not really OLD, but you know what I mean) shoots like the MBR with Audrey, the styletto and d’lilac with Mosh, and the pictures of Atim be incorporated into the new site? There were some really fabulous shots in there that showcased the colors very nicely (I especially thought that seeing how well the colors worked on Atim’s dark skin shocked a lot of us in a very good way!).

I like “Get the Look’ I wish there was a forest one with Elf/Enchant back in the day…perhaps a Magic set would be a cool new look? I’m sad, I was going to buy another Elf Magic Dust for my backup supply but they’re gone for good now. Luckily I found a shade by a different brand similar to the old dust Mermaid at a yard sale brand new for only 50 cents

I love it! The tutorials were what originally drew me to your little place and I’ve been hooked ever since! The idea of being able to shop for all the colors needed to recreate a look with one click is a super idea! I’ll be keeping my eye out for a favorite look to snatch up! :) :)
I really like the shope by look option! I also have tons of suggestions… One of which (not necessariily my best one), would be that you make a line of lipsticks designed for sports, like ultra-durable makeup. This weekend I went on vacation. Great Pink Planet stood up to repelling a few hundred feet in a cave, but was barely noticable after rafting.

just ordered all the magic dusts and the lipsticks i don’t already have. i’ll be putting the old and new formula against each other in a series of wear tests once i get em!
