Photography: Digital Obliquity | MUA: Mishka Mink
This one goes out to all the Cleopatra fans. Huge thanks goes out to Mishka & Brent for producing yet another stunning image!

INGREDIENTS
- Eyes: Pompadour, Shoe Addict, Crystal Ball, black mascara
- Lips: pink/peach gloss
- Face: foundation, Foundation Primer, concealer, foundation, blush
Eyes
Prep the lids with eyeshadow primer. Apply Shoe Addict to the lid, following the natural curve up to the crease, keeping the lines hard (ie. don’t blend!). Using an angled brush, apply Pompadour in a straight line from the bottom outer-corner of the eye, stopping when the color ends in-line with your eyebrows. Create a rectangle shape, and get the lines as straight as possible (you can fix any imperfections with makeup remover, so don’t stress if it’s not perfect
right away). Grab a bullet or pencil brush and wet it before using it to apply Crystal Ball to the lower lashline, extending it out right under the rectangle of Pompadour. Curl your lashes and apply lashings of mascara.
- A lot of the colors are currently on sale, ending July 2nd! Hurry up!
Face
Moisturize skin, apply Foundation Primer and then foundation. Use concealer for spots and under eyes if needed. Use a peachy blush for natural cheeks.
Lips
Use lots of peach or pink gloss to complete the look!

Model: Kasia
Deerlings, be sure to let me know what product Lime Crime should make next (poll on the right)!

Oh, this is simply beautiful, very mod and yet classic. I don’t know where I would wear it in the day but I may modify it slightly and go dancing, haha. Beautiful.

I absolutely adore the Pompadour blue, but I have a hell of a time getting it to work properly. I’ve got other LC colours and they stick to the lid just fine and don’t poof! out onto my face when applied, but Pompadour won’t behave itself. Any insight as to why that is? It’s a crying shame to me that I have so much trouble with it since it’s my absolute favourite colour ever!

Damn, that was whiny. Let me follow that up by saying: “Amazing look! I’m a big fan of the large swathes of single-color eyes and this is my #1 favourite colour. Kudos!”

I love this! It looks so amazing, with the blue just POPing next to the perfect skin.

I do enjoy Mishka’s tutorials as much as I enjoy yours :P And must say, this is just striking! I might do it with reds though since they suit me better.
Hmm… I was actually debating over snow queen or Crystal Ball.. I know they have different colors with the white… but I don’t think they would look too different since obviously it’s not likely someone will get THAT close to your face that they can see the difference between blue and turquoise particles… if someone has tried them both… please drop me a hint.

Oops, that’s what I get for not paying attention – I didn’t realise Mishka was the artist behind this one! My apologies!

Gorgeous! I love how bold the colors are. Shoe Addict is definitely one of my favorite shades of blue. :)

They are actually very different. Snow Queen is an almost-glowing turquoise (like a firefly!) and Crystal Ball is a white with blue overtones. Personally, I prefer Snow Queen better just because it’s a slightly wilder color ;)

Pleeease do pressed powder shadows! They’re the best for speedy daily use and travel.
For inspiration: Inglot do amazing pressed colours, and they have a ‘build a palette’ option, where you choose your own colours.

Wowo, she’s really beautiful. I love how the use of blue really extends and brings out her eyes.

Ooooh, you should totally make nail polish, because I’m constantly envious of the ones you wear, and can’t find any good ones myself!

oh that makes more sense now. Thanks for the clarification Doe. :) I’m on a mission to find the perfect liquid foundation that photos well so I voted foundation and powder. Gotta have a perfect canvas to put all the colors on! XD

Despite the expertly-done makeup, I think that my favorite part of this look is the hair– the classic Cleopatra bangs, swept to the side! It’s genius, haha.

Hi, I don’t know where else to post this…but I was wondering if you would consider doing a makeup tutorial for Asian girls. I think you are an amazing makeup artist and your work definitely fits my style..I’ve used a lot of your tutorials as inspiration for color combinations in my makeup. Since I’m Korean, my eyes are different and I’m not able to do the same style as you, I thought maybe it would be nice to see you do Asian makeup!
Kamsamnida,
Sung Hee.
