I looove the rainbow-y iridescence of this look! I felt like I had butterfly wings painted on my eyes. :) There are 3 important steps to this look:
- Eyeshadows that blend well together.
- Colors that complement each other.
- Blending itself.
Read on to find out how to make this rainbowy goodness!

INGREDIENTS
All colors available on limecrimemakeup.com
- Eyes: Circus Girl yellow, Elf green, Mermaid turquoise, Shoe Addict blue, Empress purple, Snow Queen white/turquoise eyeshadow
- Black mascara, liquid eyeliner in black or brown, false lashes
- Face: Sheer Magik Finish Pixie Dust, Marie Antoinette blush
- Lips: coral gloss
Eyes
Prep your lids with a primer and apply Circus Girl on inner corners of the eye with a small brush (like #6 from this set). Apply Elf to the center of the lid with a larger brush. Don’t worry about blending yet. Shoe Addict and Empress go on the outer corners. With a crease brush (I love #5 from the same set), apply Mermaid into the crease and over the yellow.
Once all the colors are in place, you can begin blending. With a medium-sized rounded brush, blend until the transition is smooth. Apply Snow Queen on the brow bone and blend into the other colors. By the way, I am slowly beginning to realize that I can’t live without that color – it goes with everything!!
Anyway, back to the tut. :) Lined the inside of your lid with dark brown or black liquid eyeliner. Be careful not to get that stuff in your eye – it won’t destroy it, but will be unpleasant. ;) Draw a thin line against the lashes, extending outwards. Once the eyeliner dries, apply fake eyelashes. Fill in eyebrows as usual.
Face
Moisturize your face and apply foundation & concealer as usual. I used Marie Antoinette, a gorgeous pale-pink blush, to give my cheeks a subtle wash of color, then set my face with Sheer Magik Finishing Pixie Dust for that velvety-smooth, flawless finish!
Lips
Line lips with a nude pencil. Fill in with coral semi-sheer lipstick or gloss. Voila!

Oh man release this right by my pay day when I really should not be buying make up. So many pretty colours! I think I shall treat myself to the finishing powder and new brush and save up for the eyeshadows.

This is lovely as usual.. how did you get your hair like that.. haha.. it’s really hard for me to do.. my hair doesn’t like to hold curls very well.. I love your natural haircolor.. your eyebrows look perfect.. I am in the process of growing my too thin ones out right now, it looks so gross! haha..

Oooh that’s a really pretty look! I’ll definitely be purchasing some Lime Crime products after I next get paid – particularly the Pixie Dust, I require some of that most urgently!

I have a question about blending,
when I blend everything just melds together. How do you keep the colors bright and very much YELLOW or BLUE but blended in to one another at the same time?
I think I have to wait for mr. Visa to catch his breath back before I get any Lime Crime, but i am waiting until mid Nov… Mr. Visa should be good by then ^^

♣ Glendy
I’ll definitely look into that, thanks!
♣ Clara
You’ll love the finishing powder – it makes you skin soooo smooth! I’m wearing it right now and can’t stop touching my cheeks!! Haha.
♣ Aether
Sounds like another hair tutorial coming on… ;)

I sense a chronic overblender. ;) The trick is to blend only the *border* of each color – try using a smaller brush if it helps!

Your skin is amazing! I’ve searched your FAQ’s to see if you mention your skin care regimen, but I haven’t found it.
Can you do a post on skin care or products that you use and recommend? Please?!

Gorgeous! I’m so pale, and I don’t have dark hair like you (I’m very white and strawberry blonde) so I’d look like a clown if I tried it… Oh, well — it looks fab.
(PS: I just bought Supernatural on iTunes. *Love!*)

I love that rainbow look! If I ever go to the Pride Day parade with my friend again, I’m going to have to try that. :)
And I’m so happy that you finally launched your makeup line. It’s so exciting and inspiring to see that you’ve accomplished (yet another) of your dreams. :D Hopefully I can do the same someday!
I added your blog and your makeup site to my Del.icio.us account. ^^
