Ladies, brace yourselves for another another mind-blowing tutorial by Australia’s own Mishka Mink! It won’t teach you how to make your own paperclip lashes (you’ll have to bug Viktor & Rolf for that!) but it will show you an incredible use of color & texture to create a high-fashion look.

INGREDIENTS

Eyes
Prep the lids with eyeshadow primer. Start with applying ‘Medusa’ magic dust in the outer corners of the eye, blending up and into the crease. Next, apply Enchant over Medusa to soften it and blend it inwards using a soft fluffy brush, towards the inner eye. To create a highlight on the lid, blend ‘Lime Criminal’ starting halfway on the lid, and smoothing right into the inner corners. Layer it to really make the color ‘pop’. Take a pencil or bullet brush and apply ‘Elf’ right into the outer corners of the eye, blending back into Medusa and Enchant. Wet an eyeliner brush and apply ‘Elf’ along the lower lash line, as if it were eyeliner. Use a small flat brush to apply a little ‘Crystal Ball’ as the brow highlight. Use a jet black liquid liner to line along the upper lash line, flicking out at the corners.

Next apply the black liquid liner from the outer corners of the lower lash line, making sure to extend the line out past the eyeshadow and angling up towards the temples. This look calls for fun dramatic false lashes, so use the most
outrageous and Candyfuturistic pair you can find! I used Paperclip lashes by Viktor & Rolf for Shu Uemura.

Face
Moisturize skin, apply Foundation Primer and then foundation. Use concealer for spots and under eyes if needed.
Brows must be neat and defined for this look! Fill in any gaps with eyebrow pencil or a little powder in a natural shade, and then use some eyebrow gel to tame and keep in place.

Lips
I mixed my own shade of lipstick using a purple mixed with a little black. Try making your own shade by mixing ‘Styletto’ with ‘Airbourne Unicorn’ (available October 09 on limecrimemakeup.com). Finish the look with clear lip gloss. Voila!
