If you are coming to the picnic, we are right by the 106th Street entrance by the garden gate (NOT inside the garden). Walk in and keep straight, and you will see us on a green blanket!

I realize I’m a little behind here, but while I was catching up on the blogs from last week, I caught your ‘essential beauty items’ list. If you don’t like sunscreen, I can recommend something I use all the time: As a pale girl living in a desert, I simply HAVE to wear sunscreen. I fell in love with Neutrogena’s 70SPF sunscreen. It dries fast, soaks in, and it’s waterproof. It’s not a spray on, but it’s really nice and as long as it gets rubbed in all the way, it won’t feel gloppy or awkward.
ALSO: Adding a little shea butter to your regular lotion regimen clears up sunburns super fast. Shea butter is just awesome all around.
Sorry to add an irrelevant and unsolicited comment. I just figure we, the easily sunburned of the world, ought to look out for one another. Hope the picnic was rockin’.
Doe! It was amazing to meet you, your husband and your adorable sister today! Send me the pictures of how the henna comes out! Love to see!
xoxo, Jessica
