Katy Perry has a new perfume out — and it’s called Purr. Purr features notes of peach, apple, green bamboo, jasmine, freesia, Bulgarian rose, vanilla orchid, white amber, sandalwood and musk. It’s available at Nordstrom and comes in a cat-shaped bottle, in 30, 50 and 100 ml ($36-65).
I want this bottle in my boudoir!
I like Katy Perry and have a good feeling about this. Love me some fruity/flowery scents (I am practically obsessed with Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture…)! Not to mention, I absolutely adore the promo image — latex suit, cat mask, tail? Yes please!

Although the bottle is interesting, and if I was to buy any perfume it would most likely be for the bottle. I’m not really a fan of perfumes. Especially because of what the ingredients are.
Katy Perry is awesome! So colorful and playful. I’ll have to check out her perfume. The bottle is too adorable!

I disagree. I think Katy Perry is way overrated, lol. I just don’t see her having the vision that Gaga always seems to have. Katy Perry is cute, but she’s never done anything that has truly moved me, y’know?

My view is that neither of them are doing anything that hasn’t been done before – neither are ground breaking to me in the slightest. The difference for me is that Perry seems to take herself far less seriously and is just a very fun pop star.
It is a very pretty bottle. I will definetely be checking it out to see if it is a scent I like. And her promo pic is amazing.

I imagine once my youngest sister gets wind of this, she’ll be all over it (like everything else Katy Perry). I personally can’t stand the woman, but should my sister get it (though that might not be until Christmas) and I get a whiff of it, I’ll let you know.
If I wore perfume, I would definitely be buying it. Sadly, my dad is allergic, and I never remember to wear it :P
Wow, it sounds interesting. I’d have to smell it first as I tend to be sensitive to that kind of stuff, but the bottle sure it cute!
I don’t like the underlying alcohol scent in perfumes; it’s essential oils for me all the way. That said, the Purr bottle is adorable and totally boudoir-ready.

I have a strong aversion to Katy Perry, I’ll admit. But putting that aside, I still don’t really like celebrity perfumes. I guess I don’t like tying myself in to a celebrity’s image, especially not the kind of celebrity who releases perfumes. I wouldn’t wear a Katy Perry branded shirt, and to me wearing the perfume would be similar, because I know that some people would recognise the scent and associate me with her.
I’m not a fan of celebrity scents in general and Katy Perry is definitely not a favorite of mine.
Especially since her first hit was fetishizing kissing other women. (OMG! I kissed a girl! Lesbianism is scandalous! I’m unfaithful to my boyfriend but i hope he doesn’t mind! haha! Isn’t it cuuute?)
I think what she did reinforced the idea that women only kiss other women for attention. Really bothers me considering my (ex)girlfriend and I were constantly harassed in bars by men because they believed we were only being affectionate for male attention. Maybe I’m just being overly sensitive but Katy Perry rubs me the wrong way.
Despite my hangups with Perry, it IS a really adorable perfume bottle. ^_^
It looks like it would smell delicious! My favorite perfume at the moment is Coach Poppy Scent which smells like jasmine, cedarwood and cucumber flower petals.

Actually, I went to the closest Nordstrom and asked for a sample of it! It’s a rather strong fragrant, to tell you the truth. I liked it at first, but it was a bit too strong for me. Although, the bottle is to die for! <3

Ooh! I like that promote picture and the bottle is absolutely amazing! I want it too! ..don´t care if it smells good or not, that bottle is soo cool! I love cats! Got to keep my eyes open for that parfume and hope for it too smell awesome! ^^
