1. First batch of lipsticks shipped out.
All orders placed before October 25th have either been shipped (and arrived, as I saw on Twitter) or will be shipped today for guaranteed October 31st delivery. If your order was placed after Oct 25, we cannot guarantee Halloween delivery as it’s just too short of a time frame.
2. Lime Crime Lipstick back on sale
We completely sold out of the first batch as you know, and this is the second one which will ship on November 12th. Place your pre-orders now before we run out AGAIN! We did not expect how popular these will be and are trying hard to keep up with the demand. Thank you for your patience & support!

3. New lip swatches
I’ve gotten a lot of requests for swatches on different skin tones. Well, yesterday Ugandan Princess & supermodel Atim Birungi stopped by for a photoshoot and we got her to model some of our lippies. :) By the way, if you’d like to submit your own swatches, feel free to send them to limecrimemakeup @ gmail.com!
Mark and I are about to grab some breakfast and off we go to the warehouse in NJ who got a little overwhelmed. We’re committed to getting all your orders out today! The good news, it’s a gorgeous 1-hour drive. Fall is finally here on the East Coast and the leaves are like nature’s own fireworks.

I got mine already :) They look ridiculous on my lips lol but the colors are very pretty.

Are those swatches on Atim from right out of the tube?! Meaning…no primer or anything, they just went right on top of her natural skin?
If that’s the case: HOLY FREAKING UNICORNS, DOE. You just might be the Unicorn-Jesus-ette of lipstick O_O
And also if they are….Pleeease for the love of all that is GLEEful let my D’Lilac arrive today! I can’t wait to wear it and my room mate (whose favorite color is purple) is almost more excited about seeing it than I am!!! Every day she asks me “Cassi, did your lipstick come yet?!”

I’m really ridiculously pale with green eyes and blonde hair…I’m not sure what my skin’s undertone is (remind me to ask you to do a “Dear Doe” about figuring that out…), but I’m sure it could help someone :3

OK so I am extremely jealous of all of you have received your orders already. Shipping to Canada takes waay too long. Contessa Flourescent would be perfect for my costume, so I am hoping that there is a possibility ( although extremely small) that I get my package for halloween

The new swatches look awesome! They really show off the lipsticks’ opaqueness. I would love to see Atim in some fashion photo shoots for your make-up (not just swatches!)

I’m so angry I can’t afford any of the lipsticks at the moment :( I just want to echo the thoughts of Sara, who said that she would love to see Atim in fashion photo shoots, she looks gorgeous!
Atim!!! Love her. <3 She is a fabulous sweetheart. Cosmopop looks so yummy on her!

Oh my gosh the brightness! I’m saving my money for some of these, and I’m not even a lip stick gal. SO intense.
I got my styletto!I love how smoothly it went on, not chalky like other lipsticks!! (and it smells lovely, like cupcakes!)

Holy. Effing. Shoe. I just went back to look at the new swatches, and although ALL the new swatches look great, Atim looks especially dreamy-sugary fabulous in No She Didn’t and Styletto. And I mean, like, dreamy-sugary fabulous with chocolate-covered raisins and raspberry syrup-type fabulous. No kidding. Uck. I need a job.

Oh they do! and D’ lilac looks great on her too! I feel your pain Rickey, I’m trying to turn my hobbies in to profit through etsy, not going well and I haven’t even tried to sell anything yet.
Good idea about the new swatches! Part of what drew mw to your make-up was seeing it on your skin and knowing it’d look pretty much the same on me. After all you have identical skin to my mom and I’m only one shade lighter and pinker but with foundation we’re the same. I’ve always loved knowing how it’s going to look by seeing you model it and it’s only fair that people with skin tones other than you or Mosh (or Raquel in the case of “no she didn’t”) have the chance to have a similar experience.
I really never get the chance to see my skin tone in make-up ads, except maybe this one time Julianne moore modeled a lipstick. I know there are girls with several other skin tones besides mine who get neglected in make-up advertising just as much.

Oh yeah, I rarely see anyone with my skin tone in make up ads. I’m kind of olive but with yellow undertones (I’m latina), so very hard to find someone with a skin tone similar to mine.
I think I love cosmopop even more in this swatch! Something about the pale orange against the dark skin is too perfect!

Oooooh god I brought Airbourne Unicorn – it was taunting me!! but it’s ok! ‘cos i’m gonna stop buying so many chocolate bars and magazines! this is my treat for budgeting :-) lol.
I just got my lipsticks today (Cosmopop and Great Pink Planet, my roomie got Countessa Floresent and Retrofuturistic.) WE ARE IN LOVE! I’ve never been a big lipstick girl, but this has changed for good.
I’d send you swatches but I’m pretty much the same skin tone as you, Doe.

Oh wow, that color looks amazing with her skin tone! Will there be more pictures from the shoot? I’d love to see her whole face with that lipstick color. ~love~
That is really good to know that it can work on other skin tones, I kinda knew it would but still wasn’t sure because I didn’t see examples. I think you should try a Deer/Fawn look that would be really pretty on a brown tone model. Also a Gothic and Sweet/doll Lolita style that will work on darker skin haven’t seen anything like this. Another would be a New Orleans look using lots of greens, yellows and purples or a Native American type coloring seen in feathers/beadwork/turquoise all would look pretty on olive and darker tones. I hope you like some of my ideas. :)
I have a question. I know you said that you were going to create another batch of lipsticks. Exactly how long will this process take, and when will the lipsticks become available? I’m sure it will take a while, but I’m just so anxious about seeing what the new colors will look like.
I just got my order yesterday and the lipsticks are amazing!!!!!!!! I got D’Lilac, Contessa Florescent, and Centrafuscia. (I’m spelling them from memory sorry for any misspellings.) You never disappoint!

I LOVE bright colours, in eye make-up and lipstick, and think it’s criminal the buyer was so short-sighted. I’m sad that some of your colours I like (like aqua and lilac!) have already sold out – but will wait for the next lot. On the weekend for Tokyo Decadance I resorted to body paint in aqua for my lips – even in japan I could not find blue lipstick. Doh.

I have bought all except retrofuturist and styletto and Airborne Unicorn (because I can make do with a red and black lippy I have atm, until I get more munny, I really want the purple though gaaa! :D)
I can’t wait to recieve them. I bought Cosmopop and Great Pink Planet in the second shipment. I’m off to America on Monday (3rd November) and I’m so hoping they come before I go! I want to wear bright colours in the winter over there :D

around them and trying to predict what will look best with green eyes and golden-brown hair…if there is another color you feel would look really good with that combination, feel free to suggest :)
I wish the pictures of the lipsticks were also shown on MEDIUM SKINTONES as well. I have golden-y olive skin and certain colours make me look sallow. And usually make-up is just shown on light and/or dark/deep skintones. I would love it if you started pttuing the make-up on medium skintones!!!
