INGREDIENTS

  • Eyeshadows: Yellow, Red, Purple, White, Turquoise and black
  • Black mascara
  • Black liquid eyeliner
  • Brown or black eyebrow pencil
  • Foundation
  • Fake eyelashes
  • Rhinestone ‘drop’

I am awfully messy with mascara so I always do it first, before any other make-up. Make a mess, clean it up with q-tips, move on!

I usually start out with lightest eyeshadow – in this case, yellow. Cover the whole lid with that, sweeping it into the inner corners with a brush. Carefully blend in the purple towards the crease. Bright green is applied with a sweeping motion outwards the eye as well as under the eye, on the lower lid. Now grab the red and color in in the crease and slightly above it for depth effect. Apply liquid eyeliner along the upper lashes. Let  dry for a moment.

Fake eyelashes can be your best friend or worst enemy. When I first discovered them, I didn’t know what I was doing and they kept coming unglued! It was literally driving me mad! I didn’t know at the time that you are supposed to let the glue DRY for about 30 seconds until it turns into a ‘gluey-er substance’ (!). So, apply the glue onto the ridge of the lashes, let dry for a bit and stick the lashes right on top of the eyeliner – starting from inner end and slowly moving outwards.

To balance out the dramatic eyelashes, I darkened the lower lid with another light layer of black eyeshadow right under the lashes.

I used hot pink blush on my cheeks, applied with a large brush, and pink lipstick with clear gloss on top. The rhinestone thingie can be purchased at Claire’s and comes in different sizes.

Voila!

The colors are so complimenting to each other on making this fairy tale design. Once I am able to aquire the set of colors I can’t wait to try it out and see what people think at school. If love, which I’m sure they’ll give, I’ll so recommend this site.
