I wore this to Tarina Tarantino book signing yesterday. It was an action-packed day full of excitement – I got to meet Tarina, went on an accessory shopping spree with Gala Darling (loot post soon) and got kicked out of a cab, ran into Agyness Deyn in the East Village, and then somehow ended up at a 1920s/30s party with Shien Lee. All in this ridiculous hummingbird outfit.
Why hummingbird? The fluttery jacket makes me look like I have wings and the color palette channels some sort of an exotic bird. Also, Shien and I have a running joke about how we’re hummingbirds: we both love to eat (shun anorexia!) and hover around the table.
This is my new living room by the way. Lavender stripes forever!

That dress is simply GORGEOUS, I love it! I love the rest of it as well, but the dress is just…awwwmmhm. (I think that’s supposed to be an adjective for a good thing XD) <3

I was just wondering the same thing that Simone asked -what Mark thinks of your decorating choices, especially since you both live in the same apt., right? :D
Also, why’d you get kicked out of a cab? I hope you elaborate on that part, sounds scandalous!;D
I can definitely see you as a hummingbird with all of those flashy and pearlescent colors you like to wear.:D

Merlin’s beard! I was just talking with my bestie Dahling Emma about how when we get a flat (after college) together, we will paint a bedroom with purple and gold stripes! Then I had this idea to hunt down a bunch of random pipes, paint them gold, affix them in a maze-like pattern to the ceiling of that same room, and run wiring through them to create a built in light fixture (two or three lines of wires so that a bit by the bed and a bit by the mirror will turn on/off separately from the rest of the room. yay! Please excuse my random blatant outcries of excitement and doe-ish glee. Love the socks– those are two of my favorite colors! Chartreuse is the only color I can actually call a favorite, because pretty much all ultra-bright colors fall in the favorites (plural) category. And jewel tones. And… ah. sorry. all my love (yes, ALL of it) and muchos snogses,

That’s a really cute outfit. I love the jacket especially. The mismatched socks bother me but that’s just me! OCD!
