For my fairytale-themed birthday, I was a Futuristic Unicorn!

- Corset: Victoria’s Secret hand-dyed blue with added rainbow trim
- Flying saucer necklace: gift from Mark
- Skirt: handmade
- Shoes: futuristic flats by Shellys London
- Eyeshadows: Mermaid, Circus Girl, Pink Poodle by Lime Crime
- Horn: hand-crafted
This look very much represents my vision of Candyfuture. I think futurism and fantasy go very well together and should be paired more often. Unicorns, crystals, neon flying saucers & far-away galaxies sparkled with cosmic dust are all part of the same world: imagination.
What do you think, Deerlings?
P.S. More photos from the party coming soon!

NICE TUTU…oxox love love love it!
I see the future that way also. I hate when people depict the future in all gray’s, black, depressing and have u notice almost every movie or show about the future shows people dirt poor. Bad teeth, bad skin, dirty faces, torn clothes, LOL!! Everything out of steel. No life, no color. JUST Ugly…so i think making rainbows out of a machine and baking stars to wish upon is better. oxoxo tehe

So fantastic!!! I’m amazed you got the corset to accept such deep color. What brand did you use and do you have any tips? Last time I tried dying things (a looong time ago) I got barely a tint. Maybe they’re better now? xoxoxox dicie

Ok! I just made a quick tutorial for you guys to make the rainbow skirt.
http://twitpic.com/9iwk7
You’ll need 2 yards of light-colored fabric (base) and 6 yards of color netting. I alternated pink, yellow and teal. For the belt, use a piece of wide elastic.
