I like to anticipate the approaching of the storm by standing outside on my porch and watching the clouds get darker, wind get stronger, and lighting light up the sky in purples behind the buildings. The way the world smells just before the first drop hits the ground is remarkable. When it finally starts pounding, I run inside and write letters old school style, pen-on-paper. It’s my favorite thing to do on a rainy day, aside from taking my “sunny skies” umbrella out for a stroll. :)

I love the way you tied the scarf! Could you break down how you did that? I wear a lot of hair scarves, but have never managed to tie a bow that has that much volume! Your tips would be much appreciated :)

I have just seen this and didn’t even realise they were fake! Amazing, Love it! I’m going to trim my hair extensions and make some as i can never fit a full weft of clips in my head!
I prefer writing pen on paper..when I write a first draft of something it is always on paper.

Can you please share what Foundation/ concealer you always use? Your skin always looks flawless ( even though it probably is flawless!! * jealous*) And I just bought the whole magic dust kit!! Yay for owning all of them :) And I love that pug purse!!

It’s part product, part technique. Recently I’ve been using mousse foundation by Maybelline. The technique is to go with a small brush and concealer and cover up all imperfections; then go with foundation over it.
I love your outfit and your umbrella is amazing! I haven’t seen an umbrella like it. I’m glad to see you rocking socks and shoes; they look great together.

You pat it instead of smudging, really working the color into your lips. Then blot. Then do it again. And then gloss it. Lasts for ages. :)

I love the rain! Its calming to me and the smell before the first drop of rain smells so good, I wish they could bottle it! I also love the colors the lightning makes with the clouds and sky! It’s my favorite time when it rains! My favorite thing to do when it rains is to run out into and play!!

When it’s cold and nasty out, I love to read when it’s raining. A cup of tea, a good book… nothing better. In the summer I tend more towards impossibly messy art projects; it’s like I have to fill the small space I’m crammed into with as much carnage as possible. What I love the best, though, is falling asleep during a storm–I always have good dreams!

On a rainy day I love to cuddle with my bf and animals on the couch and watch horror or sci fi movies. Rainy days are also great for tea drinking, kniting and playing board games like scrabble.
Its really raining today here! I love watching my cats run around playing with their toys as they are stuck in and fed up!
Is it possible to have such straight, full bangs with real hair? Mine curl up in the middle even when I washed my hair the day before.
