I love this set from Elle – such a summer dream! Everything about this makes me wish summer would come sooner – from the hazy 60s feel to messily-applied blue eyeshadow & nude lips, and of course the big, fluffy hair! (Makes me almost regret getting a cut – but isn’t that how we girls work?). It’s been uncharacteristically cold here in NY and I simply can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can once again prance around in chiffon ruffles and fake butterflies on my hair. :D

my inspiration is Hole. I’ve loved them and their music since I was little. and I’ve recently started playing it again. now I’m in the process of designing feminine yet edgy dresses to wear with my hot topic boots :D
I’m inspired by folk music (from the turn of the century to the 30′s), lilies, indian everything, the colors gold, red & green, the book Orpheus Emerged and the way my daughter wears her clothes. Childrens clothes always look so perfect and effortless.

I think my summer is going to be all about black-lined eyes with thick mascara and bright candy lips. Style wise, I’m thinking 80′s new wave/punk accossories mixed with frothy pastel dresses and bright girly rompers.
