I won’t lie: I love things. Not in the consumer sense where I just can’t get enough buying new stuff, but in the opposite, collecting sort of way. I enjoy surrounding myself with beautiful things that mean something to me aesthetically, and have a special folder for images of others’ favorite things.

Sometimes I wonder whether or not I black out from time to time, and lead a double life…?

Those are yours?! Awesome, link added! :)
I love to collect: LP records (especially disco and funk, I squee when I find great one from ’79 and ’80 especially), dinosaurs of any kind, makeup :D, anything spacey or sci fi, BOOKS (oh my god I have so many books), dresses (especially vintage, or bright colors), beautiful scarves…
I also love glitter, disco balls, turquoise, sea green, sequins… cats/kittens, berries, heirloom tomatoes, brightly colored antique/vintage furniture (someday I want to collect old pink furniture)… haha I could go on and on about things I love! ^_^
Books, especially old ones. I think I’ve about 6 copies of Alice in Wonderland picked up in various second-hand bookshops, otters, anything teal or bright pink (when I finally move into a flat of my own the living room is going to be the brightest space you’ve ever seen), ‘extreme sports’: climbing, bouldering, kayaking, ice-hockey, snow boarding…

I feel the same way about old books, I found a original copy of through the looking glass at a book festival recently wanted it so badly but it was 750. : (
aesthetically speaking – musicvideos
especially, for some reason, french ones ^^
just made this blogpost of photos from a cristophe mae video
You can see the photos here and the video here.
I’m sure the ambiance of the video will please you :)

just adding the reason why I haven’t chosen “real” stuff – see I am so messy
I would LOVE to fill my room with boxes and shoes and ribbons and pearls but it all just gets in the way and doesn’t look pretty anymore. So I just feed myself with photos and videos instead ^^
I’m obsessed with pretty packaging. I love stuff like that. For example, Urban Decay’s Shadow Primer Potion! It really does look like a bottle one would find a potion in. And looks really awesome on my counter at home. That’s pretty much my main obsession right now.
Though I also love strange accessories.

Agreed – love perfume bottles too
I love ‘things’ too! i’m always googling images of elaborate cakes and vintage chocolate bars, games and cosmetics!
And you’re coming to the UK!? some make-up promotion at a store I guess? I have to go and meet you!
Ah, everything is so pretty. :)
I like musical memorabilia. I have posters from Hairspray and Sweeney Todd, programs from Cats, and some pretty awesome Phantom of the Opera stuff(license plate, necklace and bracelet). And then to get all crazy, I love glitter.. well, anything sparkly, really. Zebra print. Crafts. Costumes. Makeup.. A lot of stuff, really. And lately I’ve become obsessed with youtube videos of makeup tutorials by guys!
Black cat things, Gloomy Bear things, little figurines, shoes, pinups, retro things, feathers, stuffed animals, photo books, hats and scarves.
BJD’s: Ball Jointed Dolls http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs23/f/2007/311/d/9/Corto___BJD_eyes_by_trifoil.jpg
they’re my current obsession.
I also love perfume bottles. Colorful makeup. Corsets.
All so beautiful!
I love soft notebooks, makeup brushes, jars of eyeshadow, creased books, my inspiration board, yes and yes calander, beautiful scarfs, perfume, soft pillows, and jars of fingernail polish.

Cats, my love, family, warm days, seashells, seahorses, the 19th century, mermaids, ocean colors, manatees, music, and Sherlock Holmes are my glee :)
CDs. Pretty looking CDs. <3 And, oh. I love band t-shirts. And everything music-related, really. And I sort of…still collect The Smurfs… Haha. I can't go into a toy-store without buying a few figurines… And it's hard NOT to go into a-toy store when I've become an aunt just over a year ago!
Beautifully printed textiles, like Indian bed sheets to hang on the walls and silk embroidered pillow cases. Pair that with antique European pretties, like a china Pierrot doll I got in Nice and a hand painted rustic Italian vase. And to finish it off, stuffed animals – not just any stuffed animals, but ones that are particularly cute and, most of all, realistic.
I love old fashioned things, from jewelry to clothes, films, music and everything in between. I also like sweets of all kinds, purple, books (especially from strange quirky authors like Lewis Carrol, Roald Dahl, Dr.Seuss and Carlton Mellick III) mermaids, butterflies, anything dark odd and mysterious, independent films, and wow the list goes on and on! :D :D
colorful nail polish, all sort of fabric (even if i do nothing with them, i love having them around!), all sort of beads (i love making jewelry), books, inspiration in all kind of way, and cooking book :)
i love this little figurine my roommate got me, its three gold owls, with tiny mirrors on their stomachs. it’s sooo cute, and sits on top of my sunflower bookcase. i’ve started to collect hello kitty things for no reason at all. it must be because ive been visiting the sanrio store in san francisco since i was just a little kid! :)
Oh god, I collect books by the dozen, I had been to Ikea at least seven times in the last year to buy more shelves for my bookcase, and ended up buying a whole other book case!
I collect R.L. Stine’s Fear Street Series (sagas, Super Chillers, etc.), Any book on a dictator and/or Serial Killer, Toy cats that look like my baby Boo!, Puzzle books of any kind, antique tables, candles and body washes and perfumes that have a water scent (rain, ocean, water drops etc.), my collection of platform stripper heels from the days I used to work at an Adult Novelty store >.>, Colorful items that would go into my room, interesting tidbits that would look beautiful in a frame, Band flyers and cards from local concerts (With autographs!), and sadly I started this collection when I went to Vegas at 18: I started getting as many of those hand out “Escort” number cards as I possibly could, and all my friends who go to Vegas bring me back good handfuls of them that I store in a binder. I don’t know why, its just something fun that I know would be a great conversation starter…I need a life! >.<
I love the packaging makeup comes in almost as much as I love the makeup. I try to keep my dresser neat just soI can show off all my pretty blushes/powders/eyeshadows on it :P
Case in point: Tarina Tarantino’s new Sephora collection. Everything is so pink and cute! I’m definitely going to be adding one of her blushes to my dresser display :D

=0! That’s amazing!
Anything old world or futuristic. Parchment, apothecary, bottles, quills, leather journals, any other worldly things.
Amoung some of my favorite things…I collect Sailor Moon memorabilia because it’s so hard to find and it’s my number one favorite anime of all time (cuz it was my first one! : )) I like to cut out pictures of people or “things” i guess, that I admire or find interesting from just about everything. I keep a box filled with these clippings and i like to either use them for collages or to put them up on the walls in my room, sometimes in place of posters! ^.^ The best part of all is being able to change up my walls easy because of all the clippings. : )

I love sailor moon to! I keep so many pictures on my computer. It’s so hard to find nowadays.
Beautiful pictures:)
I like candy(especially from Bolcheriet in Løkken, Denmark), flowers, my national costume(it’s like a dress with traditional flower pattern on it. And it’s in blue. The Norwegian costumes are called “Bunads”), my dSLR, Aker Brygge (one of the most beautiful places in Oslo), music and colors (all of them).
I love glittler, rainbows, bubbles, stripes, raw vegan cheesecake, books, etc…
I believe there are two things that I can really spend money on… Books and CD’s
BUT, I can also spend tons on money on colorful shoes, bright accesories, dog themed items, stuffed animals, striped things, polka dotted fabrics…
I love old books of poetry, small ones. Ribbons, bows, florals, easter eggs, podcasts!
And anything sweet!
Origami flowers, posters, quotes, letters, calendars, candles, tiny figurines, beautiful boxes, small notebooks, patterned fabric, books, teapots…
and honestly, I am a messy person, but I kind of love it. I love to fill up my walls and desk and all the flat storage space I have in my dorm with my things. It makes a sort of controlled, useful clutter of things that are mine, arranged how I like them. It makes my dorm room less of an impersonal, ugly space and more like my own little earth-place.
I love, collect and wear beautiful vintage hats. I have over 100 of them, and have to purge every year or so because they kind of take over. I buy a lot of them at auctions and on eBay, and make sure I have one to match every outfit!
Cats always make me happy. Wether it’s a cat I meet on the street or my own they always makes me smile.
But another thing – you love unicorns obviously :D so here’s a game I’ve been playing like crazy. It’s seriously addictive!!

I love books. I love to escape into multicolored fairytales and lose myself in the magic.
I love colors and the way my imagination runs when I see a rainbow.
Books, quotes, nail polish, pictures, drawings, satin, lace, velvet, masks, fans, journals, makeup, things that look pretty, smell good, feel good.
Well right now I love your blog. It is full of everything I love. You’re doing all my work for me :P! Some things that turn me on are!; Feather plumes, mirrors, pretty princess bed canopys, studded leather, pin-up make-up, perfumes bottles, sea shells, pearls, pink. I love images of Greek towns, scenery, people! There is something about the Mediterranean that just makes me feel alive. Oww I forgot to add….recieving new Lime Crime make-up is Glee to me :D
I love collecting things, too. I think collecting really is a materialistic thing, but it doesn’t make it bad. Sometimes things define who we are by what we love, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
That being said, I have quite a handful of really weird collections. I collect:
-Stuffed animal cows
-Rocks (particularly amethysts and purple fluorite)
-artwork
-make-up
-clothing
-shoes
-candles
-coins
Ah just anything I can get my hands on! I love being a pack rat. Things are so interesting :D
Studded handbags, cupcakes, cute Japanese candy, spilled glitter, purple nail-polish, pink lipstick, 80′s album covers, Japanese street fashion magazines, sparkly clothing, and Marie Antoinette. :)
Minamotokitchoan in London. Also, Fortnum and Mason. Marzipan is also great.
Rhinestones and eyelash glue.
Clip-in hair colour extensions.
Streekers Hair Colour
I loveeee the what you have up! I have just started an etsy shop and have somethings you might really love <3 Check it out if you have a chance.. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Ericamichelle44
xoxo
i love lace, frills, soft worn cotton from old tshirts, and magazines filled with beautiful pictures.
I am in love with ROYGBIV and have a habit of collecting something in every color. The height of this compulsion intersected with my Blythe doll phase and so we have a rainbow of pretty Japanese dolls with little rainbow shoes!
