I wore this to a wild party with a performance by the androgynous theremin player Armen Ra. Armen wore long, think false lashes, hair heavily gelled and slicked back, and pounds of blinding glitter on his eyes! After the show I came up to say hi and we immediately began chatting about make-up. :) Get this: he MADE his own lashes!! He combined several pairs by gluing them into one.

Anyhow, on to the tutorial. This one features one of my favorite combos – pink and green. This look is easy to do but stunning nonetheless. There isn’t any eyeshadow blending going on and in fact you only need only 2 colors.

Start with applying black mascara on upper and lower lashes. Even though you’ll be wearing falsies, you still want your lashes to look dark and full. Apply eyeshadow base or foundation onto your lids to make colors pop. I applied my new favorite pale pink shadow liberally on the upper lid. You want the color to be most intense towards the lashes and fade out at the brow bone. Now take a thin brush and put some of that Silver-Green on lower lid, right underneath the lashes. Line lower rim with black pencil for dramatic effect.

Onto the falsies. Aren’t these fabulous?? Love the color, shape, texture and quality! And another thing: these come with the most amazing GLUE I’ve ever seen in my life!!! For one thing, it’s exceptionally strong, second in strength only to Superglue (haha, just kidding). Secondly, I swear it GLOWS! It’s of this awesome glowing blue-ish color which is wonderfully visible when applied to the lashes, so you will never miss a spot. It dries clear. So go ahead, put on that glowing stuff on the rim of the lash, let it dry for about 15 seconds and apply starting from the inner corner.

Final touch: glitter! Apply glitter underneath the eyebrows, onto the brow bone and maybe even some to your lips, and shine, baby, shine! Voila!
