Venetian Masquerade
Category: Makeup Tutorials

INGREDIENTS
- Lots of black liquid eyeliner!
- Hot pink and yellow eyeshadows
- Revlon’s Illuminance Creme Shadow in light yellow
- Black mascara
- False lashes
I was inspired by Venetian masquerade masks here. :)
First we’re going to apply foundation to our forehead only. I recommend starting with the eyebrows which are done in pencil and drawn unnaturally long and going upwards. Next, apply foundation onto your eyelids extending into the hairline to avoid patchiness with the eyeshadow. With liquid eyeliner, paint the entire lid extending the corners and pointing them outwards. Take hot pink eyeshadow and apply in inner corners right under the eyebrow with a large brush. Blend into light yellow for a highlight. Draw on the rest with a large brush, blending into the hairline. Inner corners are highlighted with light yellow creme shadow with a thin brush. Apply a bit of eyeliner pencil under the lower lashes (pencil gives you a softer look as opposed to the liquid liner).
I didn’t use any blush as it would compete with the dramatic eyes, but did use hot pink lipstick to match the eyes. Voila, now you’re ready to join the masquerade!

I used this look for Halloween last year :) I was a radioactive racoon. I had a wicked bright tail, like, 3 different colors of neon fishnets, I dyed my hair bubblegum pink….. such a blast XD

Ooh…. this is perfect!! I am doing a SHe’Devil themed burlesque performance in a few weeks and just tried this look using LC Siren Magic Dust instead of the pink. Can’t wait to go on stage with it – photos to come :)
