Weekly Glee – August 19 2008

Category Weekly Glee

Put some GLEE in your pants!

More: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

  • ‘Agua Caliente’ photoshoot in Numéro 94
Told you flower baths were glamorous! Indulge yourself while the flora is still abloom – but leave the expensive designer clothing out of the tub. ;) Photographers: Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello, model: Coco Rocha. Images via BerlinRocks at fTS.
  • Zappos-sponsored photoshoots
Order a bunch of shoes from zappos.com… just to try them on! Let’s face it: sometimes we lust after shoes that we know won’t see much road. I’m talking about the over-the-top, impractical ones that you just can’t stop staring at but couldn’t possibly get your money’s worth wearing. You can satisfy your shoe-cravings without feeling guilty (or broke!) by taking advantage of Zappos’ free shipping policy (hey, it’s there for a reason!). Take some glamorous, indoors pictures of yourself wearing the fabulosity, then wave those unfunctional but oh-so-beautiful 4″ Choos goodbye!
  • Barn Owls
Because they are cuuute! And don’t they look like persian cats? I know people keep them as pets in South America (they are very affectionate with humans) but I don’t think they are legal in the US.

‘Hello! Won’t you kiss my flat face?’

  • Pulling on the frilliest, pinkest pair of panties I own.
It’s a simple morning ritual that can set the tone for the rest of the day. Choosing the right pair that makes you happy can help you stay positive throughout the day – think of it as a secret between you and your body that no one has to know (unless you want them to! ;)) So go ahead and put some glee in your pants already! :)))
  • Finding my favorite band’s t-shirts in a thriftstore and turning them into girly tops.
I was sooo gleeful to have found a big Mika shirt at Salvation Army! I reconstructed it to fit my curvy frame to a T (hee hee) and now can’t get enough of it!
  • Slippery shoes? Not a problem!
This site offers no-slip shoe pads shaped like red hearts (Nubby, this is especially for you! ;)). You get 2 pairs for $6.99.

  • Agent Provocateur Virtual Party
This is what I call ‘internet magic’: go {here} to take a tour through at a dark, erotic, video-enhanced gathering with light fetish overtones. Das fantastisch!

Now your turn to share the glee, Deerlings!

Oh my gosh, if that barn own had cheeks I would pinch them! So cute.

Thank you so much for informing us about the no-slippery shoe pads! I’m so getting them. <3 Now I won’t be spazzing about slipping on floors.

Thought you’d like to know that i’ve started posting my summer high-end designer shoe finds on my blog!

4-5″+ heels don’t got shit on me! haha (except maybe.. you know, blisters and stuff.)

Love the photos, photo number 5 is my favorite. I have always had a soft spot for pale skin and the nice green colors. I love owls, at my grandparents house you could never get through a night without falling asleep to the sound of owls. I love frilly panties too! Something that gives me glee and really makes me feel like a woman is keeping my nails as long as possible and painting them lovely different pinks. <3

  • Britt says:

I want a pretty flower bath! Those are such pretty photos.
As for Glee in your pants, wearing sexy or cute underwear is a real mood booster, nothing can make you smile more then knowing you have some amazing underpants on ^^
What gives me glee is watching my neurotic pets play together <3

I think somewhere you can get soap pressed into the shapes of flower petals . . . SSOOOO pretty! and gleeful! Does anyone know where Doe could get some?

  • Britt says:

    tinkerbell
I’ve got some of those soap flower petals, rose petals actually. They are pretty cool. I would use them more for a guest bathroom soap dish then floating in my bath though, as the little petals hold alot of soap!

My weekly glee = When the phone rings in another department, it makes me happy because I know I don’t have to answer it : )
