I’m flattered anyone would want to do that, however I work really hard on my posts and would rather you not republish them in their entirety. Feel free to use an excerpt and link to the rest though! :)

• What hair dye do you use?

My natural hair color is strawberry blonde and I brighten it up with Garnier Bright Auburn Blonde – it’s an intense red that doesn’t fade too easily, at least not on me. And yes, I am insanely proud of being a redhead and feel a strong connection with other carrot tops!

• But reds always fade so quickly! How do you make yours last?

• Leave the dye on for 30-40 minutes, instead of the recommended 20.
• Wash out with just water (no shampoo). Sleep on a dark-colored towel that night.
• Don’t wash hair for the next 2 days, let the color sip in.
• Use shampoos & conditioners for colored hair. Avoid washing hair with really hot water or clarifying shampoos, those will strip your hair of color.

See? Now you can have gorgeous red hair for longer than 2 weeks!

• Who is Grenouille?

My husband Mark is a photographer, and that’s his professional pseudonym. A lot of the photos you see on my blog are my collaborations with him; you can check out more of his work here. I also work with other great photographers from ModelMayhem.com, who are usually credited at the top of the post.

I take close-ups of my makeup myself with a tripod.

• What kind of a camera do you use?

Canon Digital Rebel with a 50mm lens.

• Will you make me a website/blog?

I’m afraid I can’t, sorry. I’m not very confident in WordPress, PHP or CSS and put this site together by doing research online. The good news is that there are plenty WordPress templates already in place that you can modify, if you are willing to learn. My webhost provider, DreamHost, offers easy one-click installs and excellent customer support!
